A perfect first visit and we look forward to returning!

Everything was wonderful! The property is beautifully furnished and decorated, the hostess is very warm and engaging. The location is ideally situated for a quick walk into town or a lovely walk along the river.

Amazing stay!

Very clean, well located, quiet, spacious, high quality accommodation. Owners are extremely welcoming, kind, very helpful and generous but unobtrusive. Amazing stay as end to my Land's End to John O'Groats cycle trip.

Camfield House is a truly exceptional place to stay, the nicest B&B I have ever visited. Everything about it - literally everything - is outstanding. So much thought and care has been put into making it an absolute pleasure to stay at. Every detail is just right. The rooms are of a very high standard, the breakfasts excellent, and the entire establishment has been furnished and decorated with exceptionally good taste. Not only is the house wonderful, but the grounds are lovely too... the gardens, the summerhouse... this place has so much going for it. Annette is an amazing host and makes a real effort to ensure that guests here have a great experience.

Charming B&B, relaxing and welcoming

Beautiful surroundings and a lovely, clean and comfortable room. Annette the host was friendly, eager to help and knowledgeable about the NC500. Breakfast was to order and delicious.

Excellent welcoming accommodation with hearty breakfast

The host was exceptionally helpful and attentive and we felt very welcome and at home during our stay. The rooms and bathrooms were very spacious, clean and comfortable and we particularly enjoyed the welcome drink on arrival in front of a warming open fire and also access to the games room, including use of the pool table. The breakfast options were very good and the breakfasts were delicious both mornings of our stay. We appreciated too the little extra touches of availability of fresh water, tea and coffee and tasty treats. The house was located on the edge of town within easy walking distance of shops and restaurants.

Only the weather - we'd really recommend Camfield House for a stay in Thurso!

Camfield is a Family Gem

Everything, from when i turned up with my vehicle the host arranged a safe place for my trailer. The grounds were stunning, the house. Camfield is a genuine Gem and the owners are amazing couldn't do enough to make my stay as welcoming as possible 😊

Absolutely Fantastic hotel, great facilities lots of thoughtful little extras - bathrobes, welcome drink etc and the host couldn’t be more friendly and helpful. Best hotel we have ever stayed in and probably ever will! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

A perfect place to stay with incredible hosts. Excellent value for money and highly recommended!

The host was fantastic she was so welcoming and friendly. Incredibly helpful and she thinks of every detail making the house and stay that extra special. The house was just beautiful with a cosy log fire in the Lounge area. The bedroom was immaculate and the bathroom was spacious and access to a bath was lovely! There was access to a summer house and gorgeous grounds around the house. It was really a perfect place to stay
