Everything was brilliant, from the guided hikes to the help to sort bus travel and more. On the hikes my guide Mahendra went way above what any of the others did to try and spot wildlife but in a eco friendly way. The owner and his wife were very kind and treated me like part of the family.
To visit here also take the bus from Kathmandu, it’s an adventure in itself.
There was nothing to dislike

Great local family owned guest house with very friendly staff. Much of the food is locally sourced, including the rice that is grown in the family's own rice paddy. Guides were very good; determined to find a tiger for me, which they did even though they are hard to see at this time of year.
No complaints.

I along with my family liked the hospitality and homely environment.
Thank you pratap Dai and Prabin Dai for everything.

The Kingfisher Special Breakfast is unbeatable. Wonderful hosts in lovely surroundings, next to National Park entrance. Pratap, Anju and the team really made this a wonderful experience. Time of year not particularly conducive to seeing wildlife, but Pratap's jungle walk and jeep safari were great. Although we didn't see a tiger, we did encounter a rare leopard. Thanks also to Niraj for walking us to the elephant breeding centre. And it's worth strolling around Thakurdwara., with its really friendly people.
Just a word on the bus journey from Kathmandu: we strongly recommend taking the bus to Mahendranagar and getting off at Ambassa, rather than choosing the one straight to Thakurdwara, which terminated prematurely. Luckily Pratap saved the day by finding and collecting us.
