The room was huge with a lovely view.
The beds were comfy.
The dinner was nice.
It is a very steep hill, and the drivers had a tough time turning around at the top.
WiFi doesn't work in the rooms.
The taps leaked on arrival which was a bit of a panic, but luckily didn't get on our belongings.
The outdoor seating doesn't have cushions as in the photos.

the view was amazing from the principal house, were the breakfast was served. It’s near the Secret beach.
the window’s from our villa should have little mosquito nets on them, so it would be possible to open them and not let all the bugs enter

It’s a beautiful tasteful property, in a quiet location, with a stunning panoramic view of the sea from up high. Sunny and the team were so helpful and respectfully attentive. Good chat too
The location was perfect for a relaxing hol away from crowds. very close to silent beach, and also close to another small beach. on top of a steep hill which may not suit everyone, but I quite liked the hike - meant I earned the yummy food
Some monkeys pulled some wires apart which knocked off the electrics, so I had to move room for a night. But nothing the property could do, and all part of the charm,

Staff are very friendly. The view for the upgraded rooms are nicer with an unblocked view of the sea if you do not mind climbing up each time you go to the beach.
The water pressure for shower is very weak. Wifi signal drops occasionally . The bed is not firm & only 2 pillows for a large bed looks lost . There’s no tv so be sure to have things to entertain yourself.

Fabulous stay at the Little Tamarind. The hotel is nicely tucked away with amazing views over the ocean. Closeby are two truly outstanding beaches especially the Silent Beach. The staff and especially Sunny the manager go the extra mile and the accomodation is just perfect. Highly recommended.
Stay was just perfect, there was some overflow noise from a nearby young family.

the view, staff, food, rooms, location close to silent beach
not a lot of variety of vegetarian food, a tea maker and a little fridge would be nice in the suite

The breakfast was good. The owner was very communicative before check in, and the staff at the property were so friendly and really accommodating. The room was comfortable (but could probably do with a fresh coat of paint). It is only a few minutes’ walk to one of the most beautiful, peaceful beaches I have ever seen. Much less crowded than other nearby beaches, which is great.
I hadn’t realised the room was at the bottom of the hill away from the rest of the property. This was fine for me, but might be an issue for people with reduced mobility. The room doesn’t have glass windows, so can be quite noisy with the dogs at night. It also means lizards and things like that can get into the room. It didn’t bother me, but again could be an issue if people are a bit nervous of bugs and reptiles!

Beautiful views from the terrace and wonderful bird songs at sun rise. We had very close contact with nature in the hotel )) - a peacock was landing and calling on the roof every morning, one day a troop of langurs (monkeys) was also on our roof and on the trees around, a little squirrel came daily to the terrace, it was not at all shy, you could come up really close to the little guy.
The room was cooling down naturally at night, and the terrace was cool most of the time, as there is light breeze coming from the sea (except for a couple of hours when the sun was directly on the terrace).
The food was good, and very attentive service from all of the staff.
The hotel is close to 2 beaches: the Silent beach - (clean, beautiful, amazing but not good for swimming - too big waves) and Unakuruwa (a smaller one, but no waves, so this is were we went swimming + a great coffee in Aga surf on this beach).

The room is great and huge, very big and cool(no need for airconditioning)The view is great. The Villa is near Silent Beach ( 3 mins, 3 minutes for real 😀) wich is absoluty beautiful.Quiet, almost private beach, with a line of coconuts trees and natural shadow, golden sand, perfect for swiming. The staff was very friendly and helpfull with anything we asked.Definatly worth the money. They even agreed with a late, very late check out, so all was nice.
Bit spuky neighbirhood when you arrive, but only as first impression.Everything is nice.

Amazing view, comfortable room, delicious breakfast, great staff.
Ceiling fan is ineffective, consider installing a portable floor fan.

The view from the patio is overwhelming, especially the one from the mansion suite (most expensive one). The breakfast was very delicious and we could choose daily from different varieties. The optional dinner was overprized had always a flat taste. We can only recommend the breakfast. Staff was very accommodating and friendly! Both the beach and a small store are not far away (5mins walk each)
We had booked the mansion. We neither had WiFi nor a nice view. We were quite far away from the hotel down the small path and felt isolated to others which we didn't like.

A truly beautiful place. Great views, great rooms, good breakfast and dinners. Friendly staff. Close to the beautiful Silent Beach. A good tuktuk tp anything else though.
If you are easily disturbed at night, bring earbuds. As many other places in this country the neighborhood dog can keep you awake. Also the nearby prayer tower at 05.30.
