Nice place and great location

Nice apartment with food on arrival. Enjoyed relaxing in the apartment when we came back from dinner. Lots of good cafes, bars and restaurants near by. Host really helpful

Really relaxed stay.

Excellent stay, very homely and comfortable. Excellent breakfast.

Set in garden with lots plants and therefore a Few cobwebs and spiders about. But didn’t impact our stay.

Good as an overnight stop but wouldn’t have wanted to stay longer

Well appointed with cutlery and crockery. Good selection of breakfast items Location very good and easy to find. Comfortable bed and nice shower.

No plug in wash basin. Too crowded with furniture. Slightly dated

Why would you go elsewhere when visiting Torquay?

Penny, the host. She was very accommodating and helpful. Nice breakfast that left us satisfied to enjoy lunch and dinner - fresh, local and home-made!

Ambiance and Tranquility of the property and its location. Host could not have done more for us to enjoy our stay. With a small platter and breakfast items included

Pleasant and quiet. Very nice owner.

The items for breakfast were more than we needed, lots of choice. Bed was comfortable, loved having blankets. Very private.

We would prefer a fridge rather than the glass chiller. Lack of sink in breakfast area, hard to fill jug in bathroom sink. Parking area needs bushes trimmed.

We had a fabulous time. Would highly recommend the property.

It was comfortable and homely. Very private. Penny was lovely.

Not having a streaming service. We didn't bring any dvd's and were limited to watching TV.

Comfortable B & B with great breakfast options.

Breakfast was very good with a good range of food to choose from.

The double bed was smaller than what is offered in most accommodation we have stayed at recently.

Host Penny provided a lovely breakfast for us. Separate lounge & breakfast area adjoining the bedroom. Off street parking. Property within walking distance of the seafront, esplanade and restaurants.

Access to the room was via the hosts own property (through the artist workshop), which felt a bit awkward [like we were intruding] when we came back to the house later in evening. Might be a bit quirky for some, but was comfortable.

It was relaxing, interesting and fun. The owner is very welcoming, considerat and lovely to talk to.

It was a basic continental breakfast. I am a celiac and had brought my own bread for toast. The owner could look at keeping some gluten free bread and/or rolls in her freezer in case someone like me turns up hungry! But there was fresh and preserved fruit available, which was great. My husband liked the Danish pastries and the jams.

There was nothing not to like! It was all pleasant, refreshing and interesting.

Assorted breakfast items were left for our use - a good selection. The accommodation was somewhat old fashioned but in a charming and lovely way giving it great character

the bed needs to be upgraded, the springs were uncomfortable can i suggest that all the lovely antique crockery, etc. be removed and stored elsewhere, travellers need to have room to put their luggage and toiletries and maybe a place to hang a few of their clothes. a big clean is needed in the bedroom and kitchen /small seating area.

Great cosy room in a great location in Torquay!

This was a lovely clean and comfortable room in a great location in Torquay. Penny was a very friendly and helpful host! The bedroom was very cosy and we appreciated the heated blankets on an unexpectedly cold night! It was also excellent to have the private lounge area to use and tea and coffee making facilities and fridge. We enjoyed the breakfast, the pastries and fresh bread were lovely. The location was great in cental Torquay and near to the beach!

The WiFi didn't work at all for our stay, we didn't have strong phone signal here either so couldn't use our data, which made things a bit tricky as we needed the internet to look up some of the next parts of our trip.

terrific, wonderful area,great beaches,walks, cafes,not super busy. would certainly stay here again.

funky,casual,comfortable,well equipped,great location. Relaxing outlook onto gardens and green areas. fair distance to neighbours. parking literally at the door,easy load and unloading,even in the rain. Penny was very helpful and knowledgeable host.

Nothing. A very minor problem, we nearly drove past it when we first arrived,quite close to intersection.

Exceptional

Apart from the host you're the only ones there. So private and quiet the only thing you'll hear are the birds. Couldnt ask for more. It felt very homely. I would definitely stay here again.

The bed was a little too soft for me but probably suit most others.

Quirky B&B

Lovely host , large bedroom and lounge area. Very comfy bed. Generous breakfast supplies. Quiet location, but walking distance to everything.

Bathroom was cold and not very clean. The place was a little too quirky for our taste.
