All great
4.5
-great location directly by the ski slope,
- the rooms are clean, refurnished, spacious
- tasty breakfast, gray choice of pastries, pancakes (omelette and scrambled eggs for extra fee)
- the parking place is located near the center of Pec, transport is provided by the hotel staff for extra fee 650 CZK ( 25 EUR) for single ride
- the a’ la carte menu for dinner was fine, good selection of wines
- staff was helpful and nice
the only thing we were dealing with was missing hair dryer in the bathroom, but was available to rent at the reception

- very quiet
- large room
- clean
- guys from the bar who also apparently work at the reception
- location (arrived during evening and everything was really dark)
- poor signage (didn't know where to park)
- issue with lack of hot water (ruined our evening)
- smell of a dog in whole hotel
- breakfast (cold and dry pancakes, cold and soaked toasts)
- being charged more than booked for (apparently hotel set their own exchange rate and charge your more than it was in the original booking)
-lack of kettle in the room or common area

Fabulous location. Great restaurant with variety of national cuisine. Clean and very spacious room. Fantastic stuff. I’d truly recommend the hotel Obroz! Can not wait to visit this place in the winter time.

great breakfast buffet
no WiFi available during our stay

The hotel itself is situated amongst the nature. The room has really nice view.Very clean.Rich breakfast.Friendly staff.Nice restaurant with beautiful summer terrace.
The road to the hotel is in terrible condition.Literally there is no asphalt and many big holes.Luckily,we didn't have to share bathroom, however the rooms are built to share bathroom and toilet between two double rooms. The property currency is in euro, however you have to pay in czech crowns and the hotel exchange rate is a bit of rip off.

Personel was very helpful and nice. Food was delicious. Hotel has a potential but still needs to work out some stuff;)
First: Room was supposed to be one big room. Instead we got 2 adjoining rooms - when travellong with small child it's a problem, because he wont stay alone in a room.
Second: Restaurant was not working on one day in a dinner time, which was not announced ahead.

Almost everything.
Difficulties with parking.

Comfortable room, breakfast, location, quietness

The hotel is situated on the mountain literally. We were there in May, so it was accessible by car but not a lot of parking spaces. As the hotel was almost empty it was ok. Breakfast was good and as in hotels normally, just was served more personally. The hotel was quiet and with open windows, you can hear all the birds singing in the forest. If you are up to it you can hike to the top of the skiing mountain and there is a lookout tower for nicer views.
Some rooms do not have a mountain view. Our room had a tiled floor that was cold with bare feet but should be fine in the wintertime.

A great location right on one of the main ski slopes, yet this place felt relatively secluded and quiet, possibly because we came after the main skiing season and the hotel itself was half-empty. In winter, you can only get to the Obzor by walking about 1 km uphill, paying for an overpriced snowmobile ride, or on skis via two different lifts, which we did and which was fun. It was a great value for money, the breakfast was really good and we got a bigger room than what we paid for. The restaurant is relatively expensive, but decent.
They switched off the boot warmers in the basement for the last night of our stay, but fortunately we had our own. The TV didn't work, even after they promised to fix it.
4.5
Excellent location directly on the slope Hnedy Vrch, friendly staff, always very helpful. Spacious rooms, if compared with the others in Pec pod Snezkou. Nice selection at buffet breakfast, the only terrible thing was coffee from an automatic coffee machine. Staff at the reception desk and also at the bar is doing great job - very friendly and always available for any help.
Few only minor points. Sometimes too noisy from the corridors - missing noise insulation of the main room door. Air vent in the bathroom did not work. Some lights did not work.

Hotel was nice and clean. Food was lovely and personal was friendly. It is good place for peaple who like cross country ski or adventure.
I would like to know in advance that the acces to the hotel is complicated and you will need quite lots of cash to pay for scooter (taxi) to get to the hotel. I personally think this place is not good for a family that doesnt ski well.
