About this house rental

Welcome to Taylor's Townhome! This property underwent a full remodel from January through June, 2020.

Everything in this 4 bedroom/3 bath condo is new including all furniture, mattresses and linens. The front is all glass on both levels featuring a large sliding glass door in the living room and floor-to-ceiling windows in the master bedroom to maximize the breathtaking views of Santa Barbara Cove, Mission Bay.

You will love your stay in this conveniently located condo, within easy walking distance to many restaurants, shops and just minutes from Belmont Amusement Park. The sand and boardwalk is right below your balcony. Just walk downstairs and your toes are in the sand! Mission Bay Park is the largest aquatic park of its kind in the country. It consists of over 4,235 acres in roughly equal parts land and water. Mission Bay boasts 27 miles of shoreline, 19 of which are sandy beaches with eight locations designated as official swimming areas.

Experience the southern California lifestyle with relaxing evenings on your private balcony with a small electric BBQ and seating for 4. The kitchen features stainless steel appliances, quartz countertops and beautiful tile backsplash. The new vinyl plank flooring is the color of driftwood. Ideal for families and friends, this condo offers comfortable sleeping arrangements for up to 10 guests. Each room comes with a mini split AC, a rarity in coastal San Diego, so all guests can control the temperature of their own room. There are flat-screen TVs in every room with digital HD cable with streaming and high-speed internet access.

On the first level (1 floor up from the sand), the living room-dining room combination has a fantastic view, an Olympic sized sofa-bed and two comfortable rocking, swiveling easy chairs. The kitchen is totally equipped for cooking and eating comfortably at home, with a spectacular view of the bay! The beachy décor and brand new contemporary furniture will make you feel right at home. Please note that the common areas are on the smaller side for the number of guests the unit sleeps. The living room will seat 5 adults or 6 with kids. There are two dining tables that seat 6 and 4. Also on the first level, there is a bathroom with a walk-in shower and one bedroom with 2 twin beds, a TV and a desk. We have installed a full size stacked front-loading washer/dryer just off the kitchen for your convenience.

On the second level (2 floors up from the sand) is a master bedroom with a magnificent view of the bay, a high open beam wood ceiling and a comfortable brand new king size bed. The second bedroom has a queen bed and the third bedroom has bunk beds with a double on the bottom and single on top. All of them have high, open-beam ceilings. There are two bathrooms in the hallway upstairs, one with a walk-in shower and the other is a combo tub/shower. Both bathrooms on the second level were completely remodeled with quartz countertops and floor to ceiling tiles.

Parking is a single carport (will accommodate 2 small cars in tandem or one large SUV). There is additional free, overnight public parking just a 3 minute walk away at El Carmel Street on the bayside.

Policies & House Rules

What to expect after booking:
We manage properties on behalf of our owners. Upon confirming your booking, we will send you a rental agreement for your upcoming stay which you will need to complete. This agreement reviews our terms and conditions, house rules and policies, and what to expect of your stay. We will also contact you within 24 hours of the booking to obtain contact information and to address any questions or concerns you may have regarding your upcoming visit. The check-in details will not be shared until the rental agreement has been signed, payment has been made, and the guest has connected with one of our guest services agents.

In addition to completing our electronic rental agreement, you will also be required to participate in our identity verification process. The Verify Hub service is offered through Autohost; an intelligent guest screening software that automates ID verifications, background and credit checks, security deposits and more, helping to improve guest experience and safety. Please note: for the credit card verification, a $2 hold will be placed on the card to run the report. This hold will never process and will fall off automatically within 7 days.

Property Appearance:
Vacation rentals in San Diego are for the most part, second homes for the owners. Therefore, some furniture or decor may differ from what is pictured because the owners needed or wanted to replace something. Professional photos are expensive and we can not re-photograph the rental every time something is changed but we do maintain the listing content with any notable furnishing changes especially related to sleeping arrangements. (*Please note: We do not give refunds because a piece of furniture or artwork has changed)

Property Responsibilities:
If you have never stayed in a vacation rental before, we are not a hotel, WE ARE BETTER! We offer many of the same luxuries of a hotel with the comfort and space of home to share with your whole family. Our property owners are our friends and we work with each owner to offer a special, specific and ideal environment for guests to experience and enjoy. All of our homes offer similar amenities so you can expect the same experience whenever staying with us.

With that said, we need you to do your part in helping us maintain each home. Please be attentive to ALL RESPONSIBILITIES as a guest of our home. Trash/Recycling, Check-out duties, Communication to management, Replacement of keys/fobs/remotes, and Care of the home all help us give each guest and family a home to feel at home in. We appreciate your assistance in making our homes and our business unlike any other!

ALL OF OUR PROPERTIES ARE NON-SMOKING.
Many buildings are also managed by HOAs who will fine guests for misconduct.

Noise:
This home is in a residential neighborhood and, as such, is a NOISE SENSITIVE property. Respect must be shown for the property and neighbors at all times. No loud music, parties, and or loud talking outside after 9 pm. Violation of these rules MAY result in immediate eviction from the property per your rental agreement, and/or fines from the San Diego Police. Please review your rental agreement for complete details and rules about your home!

Starter Kit:
We like our guests to feel at home as soon as they arrive! We provide a 'starter kit' to help our guests get settled without needing to rush off to the store. Our kits include: paper towels, toilet paper, shampoo/conditioner, soap, linens, towels, kitchen sponges, dish soap, laundry detergent and fabric softener, dishwasher soap when applicable, trash bags, extra blankets, sometimes extra pillows, extra sheets-for sleeper sofas, hair dryers, ironing boards, kitchens fully stocked-enough for max occupancy with some extra settings, toasters, some waffle makers, blenders, tool kits, first aid kits, fire extinguishers, and co2/fire detectors.

Arrival/Departure Policy:
Check in time is 3 pm and strictly enforced. (From Memorial Day through Labor Day, check-in is at 4pm)
Check out time is 11 am.
Please follow all instructions for your arrival and departure in our email and phone call correspondence. There is signage around the home to assist with the use of amenities and questions that you may have during your stay. We are available too, even after hours-give us a call!

Holiday 2024 Policy:
6 night minimum AND Saturday check-in is REQUIRED during our holiday season (December 21-January 4). One reservation CANNOT take both holidays, unless it is a 2-week reservation. There are no arrivals OR departures on Christmas or New Year's Day.
*An arrival on a Friday or Sunday may be possible, please inquire if your group needs accommodations that are different as we may be able to accommodate you!

Summer 2025 Policy:
Beginning Memorial Day to Labor Day, 6-7 night reservations are required. On Friday, July 4th 2025, check-in or check-out is NOT permitted. Please inquire if your group needs accommodations that are different as we may be able to accommodate you.

Last Minute Booking Policy:
If a guest books with us directly or on VRBO, within 72 hours of arrival, verification credentials are required. By making a payment on the reservation, the guest agrees to comply with our last minute booking policy.

To properly vet a guest with such short notice requires the following; a “selfie” photo specifically of the booking guest's face and holding either a Driver's License, Passport or State ID photo under their chin. We are just looking for a name to match and the photo on the ID to match that of the person in the selfie. This can be sent by email or text to our company email address. Additionally, we need to confirm guest details such as payment, contact information, applicable check-in time, number of guests and ages, any pets, etc.

This process is required, and if a guest refuses to comply then the reservation will be canceled. We have found this procedure to be successful in avoiding fraud, and protecting all parties! We appreciate your cooperation and we are available to help with any questions.

Nightly Minimum Policy:
4 night minimum required in the off season.
6 nights AND a Saturday Check-in is REQUIRED during peak season (June - August). Arrival on Friday or Sunday instead may be an option.

Pet Policy: Pets are NOT permitted in this home.

Rate Policy: Prices change on a daily basis so the rates you see today may be higher or lower when booking!

Age Policy: We do not typically rent to guests under the age of 25 or large parties. Please contact us prior to booking to see how we may accommodate your group.

We take great pride in our relationships with our guests. We love the opportunity to learn how we can make your experience special! Our interaction with guests by phone and email are in an effort to ensure that our guests feel prepared, informed, and at ease while staying with us. We are available 7 days a week from 10a-6pm PST, and after hours in case of emergency!

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The nicely updated townhouse was just the right size for our party of 8. All the beds were very comfortable. We had all the amenities we needed to enjoy our stay. The location is great and centrally located to all the places we wanted to visit. We really enjoyed walks on both the bayside and the oceanside. We would be happy to stay again!

Taylors townhouse was amazing! We were a large family group and there was space for everyone. The views of Mission Bay from the townhouse are spectacular. Great restaurants within walking distance. Our granddaughters loved the beaches. Check-in was easy and communication with the rental company was great. We are already planning to return soon.

This was our favorite place that we've stayed in San Diego. Perfect location, close to so many places to eat! We rented bikes and enjoyed going to the front of the unit, getting on the bike path, and enjoying the view! Speaking of view, the view from the living area and the master bedroom was amazing! We all had our own full bathroom. Everything was updated with beautiful art and furnishings. Extremely clean! We will make this our go to place the next time our whole family comes to San Diego!

I stayed here with 6 other family members. Everyone gathered for a for a wedding at a venue close bay. The property was as advertised, very clean and the decor was beautiful. There was a problem with one of the sinks but The mangers of the property were quick to start the repair and even when it required a special part, they were respectful of our needs and worked with us to make sure it did not interrupt our stay. Location could not be better. Close to so many things and the bay side view was wonderful. Thank you for a lovely stay.
