About this house rental
This historic beauty has everything you need during your visit to Kansas City.
Please note: there is an upstairs 2/1 house, and a lower suite 2/1. The lower suite has a private door access, or can be accessed through a very steep staircase from the upper suite. The lower suite has its own kitchen. However the ceilings on the lower suite are only 6"3.
This is an original "Strawberry Hill" house, overlooking the Kansas River, and surrounded by glimpses of a church spire.
The spire marks the location of an historic Croatian neighborhood known as Strawberry Hill or, simply, "the Hill."
This Airbnb was once home to Local artist Marijana Grisnik, (pronounced Mah-ree-YAW-nah). She painted what life was like growing up on the Hill in the 1930s.
When you stay, you MUST try Slaps BBQ!!! Its just a few minutes away, and it is my favorite BBQ place in KC!!
