With a 6th floor vantage point above the palm trees, the ocean views from this location are among the best in the entire resort. The glass railed balconies allow you to soak up stunning vistas of spinner dolphins chasing sailboats between the islands throughout the year. From December through April, you will have an incredible vantage point to witness Maui's seasonal residents, the Humpback Whales.
The generous, combined 3220 square feet of interior living area provides ample room for family and friends to gather and reconnect. 450 sq ft of combined balcony space offers more room to soak up the gorgeous Maui outdoors and take in the direct ocean views. Everywhere you turn you are reminded you are on the number 1 Island in the world, Maui, with abundant ocean views from nearly every room--including some amazing "pillow views" from the plush mattresses with upgraded linens.
Exceptional quality throughout, including travertine floors, exquisite granite countertops, and lovely wood cabinetry give this suite a modern feel with warmth and aloha. All of the creature comforts and convenience you expect await in your home away from home.
The opportunity to make every meal an experience is supported by professional chef's kitchens in each residence. The kitchens are well equipped with Viking appliances, granite counters, dual ovens, and a Vitamix blender for your culinary creativity. There is no corkage fee on your lanai, and the built-in professional wine cooler keeps your selections at the perfect temperature.
The 4 master bedrooms each feature sumptuous king size beds. One of the guest bedrooms is outfitted with a king bed and the other guest bedroom offers two queen beds. For additional sleeping capacity, one of the residences has a queen convertible sofa sleeper in the living room, bringing the total combined sleeping capacity to 16.
4 world class master baths feature double granite vanities, soaking tubs, and glass and marble walk-in showers to prepare for the day's adventures or relax in the evening with a good book to end another perfect Maui day. 2 guest baths each feature a glass and travertine walk-in shower and a granite vanity.
Take pleasure in spending your days at the resort’s three acre aquatic playground. With four separate swimming pools, a waterslide, waterfalls, fountains, and five hot tubs there will be no shortage of options for you and your loved ones to enjoy.
When it is time for a bite to eat, Honua Kai is home to the popular Duke’s Beach House Restaurant which serves breakfast, lunch, dinner, and cocktails. Duke’s specializes in serving up Hawaiian inspired cuisine using locally sourced ingredients and freshly caught seafood. Should you wish to enjoy a refreshment by the water, poolside service is available. For coffee, sandwiches, and farm fresh local items, the Aina Gourmet Market is conveniently located in the Hokulani Tower lobby.
Should you feel like pampering yourself with a refreshing massage or treatment, head downstairs to the acclaimed Ho’ola Health Spa. This sanctuary within the resort weaves Hawaiian inspired themes and ingredients into its wide array of signature treatments. Honua Kai occupies 38 pristine beachfront acres on the shores of Kaanapali’s North Beach so you’ll literally be just steps away from the tranquility of Maui’s shoreline. An “Ohana Play Package” including Tommy Bahama beach chairs, BBQ equipment, and a portable cooler is provided complimentary.
For added convenience, our free courtesy shuttle offers complimentary transportation between Honua Kai and several West Maui locations.
