Coy, private, rustic, quiet, pretty rural setting close to cycle track. Included bicycles available for use on trails. Nice of owner to offer garden produce and eggs and even pick up if we were tired of cycling.
disappointed that advertised views were obscured by vegetation. long grass was mowed day after we arrived which improved access. outdoor table and chairs covered in moss. outdoors needs a tidy up prior to guests arriving.

Beautifully presented, little cottage. Loved the tranquil surroundings, especially the sounds of the birds and farm animals!
Nothing, everything was perfect.

It was a tranquil location away from the hustle and bustle but still close enough to everything to get around. Very cozy and beautiful place to stay if you're looking for a couples getaway...

Carefully refurbished with a rustic country feel. Location suited for the event we were visiting to attend. Host communication with us very helpful.
The bed was a bit soft for our taste but realise that is a very personal thing and others may prefer it that way.

Brigid was super helpful, the accommodation was beautifully done. Comfiest bed I have ever slept on!
Maybe a TV or some games would be a great addition but not essential.

Stayed here for the Hawkes Bay Half Marathon. Took us 18 minutes to the start line for the half so very convenient. Cottage is private and tranquil, birdsong beaks the silence as you read and enjoy a drink. Brigid is an amazing excellent host and checked in to see we had what we needed. We will definitely be back to relax soon.

A nice touch was the supply of bread, butter and three spreads.
Cannot think of any.

Location was handy for the wedding we attended. Very quiet which was great. Very comfortable bed. Initial response when we arrived was "wow this is tiny - much smaller than I expected" However we got used to it. It was adequate as we weren't there much. Nice to have fresh bread, milk, eggs and butter available.
Believe it or not a TV would have been great especially if we had been staying longer.
