We had a lovely and informative welcome. The room was comfortably furnished with style. Comprehensive tea and coffee making plus fresh milk in the fridge big plus point for me. The pub itself was lovely with great selection of beers.
1.0
It was clean and nicely furnished
We did not get any sleep due to a female member of staff arguing and swearing at people outside the property this went on till she decided to go home at 3-49 am then after a short period of time we got the town drunks shouting walking past the property unfortunately it was a very tiring and disappointing stay

My second stay at the Fountain Inn for an event in town, the rooms are beautifully furnished, very comfortable beds and good quality bedlinen. Coffee, tea biscuits and a kettle are provided.
Although the rooms are above the bar there's no noise. Room 1 is very spacious with a view of the church directly opposite, room 2 on my second stay is cosy although with a view of a car park - I stayed on a Saturday night when it was closed but possibly busy on weekdays.
A very short walk into the town centre for pubs/cafes etc
The stairs up to the rooms are quite steep, the staff could have offered to carry my bag and provided a bit more of a welcome and information/ask if I needed to know more - took a while for me to realise there was fresh milk in the fridge in the cupboard.
There was nowhere to park outside the pub on this occasion, and suggest to add as a request on booking, for 1 of the 2 spaces next to the pub, but there is parking nearby.
Some suggestions for places for breakfast in the guest book would be useful.
A full length mirror would be useful.

Amazing place, felt like a secret as it was such great value for money, staff were incredible, bed comfortable and lots of nice touches like the little jug of milk in fridge and coffee bags. Loved it

- Friendly staff on check-in
- Clean room
- Comfy bed
- The shower was very good, lots of hot water
- Good location for the event I was going to
- Secure outer/external door
- Small fridge (with milk) in the wardrobe
- VERY noisy from the pub below. It does mention its a pub, so there "may be noise," but this was like being down in the bar with them. It went on well after midnight on Saturday and Sunday - I hardly got any sleep on both nights

Comfortable bed and room, good location for walking in the roaches and luds church
Manager was a bit abrupt when we got to the pub to check in which was a shame

The room had everything we needed, comfortable bed.
Staff very rude when we arrived- swearing about us being late. In all fairness, I don’t think the landlord knew that I was stood there in ear shot. I had tried to call the pub several times before to explain we would be arriving 30mins after check in time, but never any answer.

Great little Inn. Lovely, cosy clean room. Nice and warm, with very comfortable bed and pillows.
Easy walking distance into Leekntown centre, which has lots of lovely pubs and restaurants.

Although knew it was above the pub, it was a bit noisy from the beer garden before the pub shut. But slept well & it was very quiet the rest of the evening.

The room was spotlessly clean with lovely finishing touches to the decor and amenities. There is a cosy pub downstairs with great beers on tap. We were kindly allowed to check in early because we were attending a wedding nearby.

It had its own entrance, the room was clean, has a lot of coffee, tea and milk. There was a mini fridge too.
There was a little information booklet which told you about the surrounding areas.
I asked for balloons and banners for my girlfriend’s birthday and Guy did this for me, it was perfect!!
We only had a short visit but we will definitely be coming back & will stay longer as I owe you a pint Guy!

The location was really central and everything was easily walkable, plenty of parking right outside. My husband loved the selection of ales and the price, will definitely stay here when we come next time. True gem of a find.
The only thing I would say was my husband found the bed a little short, but he is 6'3", so nothing major.

A super place to stay right in the heart of Leek with shops, restaurants and bars within minutes. The beds were comfy, parking was great and everything was spotlessly clean and beautifully prepared, complete with generous tea and coffee making facilities and a teddy on our bed! We loved the pub, which is wonderfully friendly and in the tradition of great British pubs. Claire greeted us with a warm welcome and could not have been more lovely and helpful. Breakfast is sadly not on offer but that would have been the icing on the cake!

Excellent room, facilities, beer choice at pub. Location & friendly staff

The room was extremely comfortable and clean, absolutely perfect room for one person. The facilities were all clean and easy to use, everything you could need was available in the room and the staff were attentive. I had a slight issue with the shower on the first night and the staff couldn’t do more to fix it. Excellent room for the price paid. Especially as a lone traveler I felt very safe staying there.
The lack of parking was slightly awkward… maybe having available permits to park outside would overcome this.
6.0
The room was lovely with a very comfortable bed, an excellent shower, and a separate room for the children, so that was ideal. We loved the fridge with the bottle of milk and the coffee and tea-making facilities, and the decor was beautiful and clean.
It was extremely hot in the room, despite the outside temperature being a very mild 20 degrees. Even leaving the windows open didn't really cool it down, so we're not sure what that was about (the heating wasn't on).
And then there was the noise. We fully appreciate that we were staying above a pub, so some noise was to be expected, certainly until midnight. However, we didn't appreciate a group of people having a very loud swearing match right outside our window from midnight until about 1.30 am. The language was totally unsuitable for a 10-year-old to listen to (they were talking about killing themselves and all sorts of course language), and they kept on going, despite me shouting through the window that we were trying to sleep (I could barely make myself heard over the noise). I would have thought that the landlords would have intervened at some point. I didn't fancy getting out there myself, and in the morning there was nobody I could speak to, hence why I am mentioning it here. Once again, everything else was fabulous and we would stay there again for a trip to Alton Towers, but probably not with a child.

Great hospitality from Kyle & Guy.
Our room was light, airy, spacious and clean. I booked one of the deluxe bedrooms, and we weren't disappointed.
Our room faced the church, by the road.
The bedlinen was soft and luxurious and the mattress was so comfy. We slept like logs!
Would definitely return.

There was a warm welcome when I arrived, the room was very comfortable, spotlessly clean and individually furnished.
There was a window I could open and the heating was effective and I was able to regulate it easily.

Good location, situated a few hundred metres from the town centre. Access the rooms is via a separate door adjacent to the pub, easy access with a digital key pad, the code was given by the friendly staff in the pub.
The room was small but very comfortable and clean, the room had tea and coffee facilities, an iron and ironing board and a small fridge, the tv had Netflix, prime, iplayer etc
