Nothing but beautiful, staff and the place was beyond our expectations. It's was breath taking, wonderful and beautiful. From the security guard at the Gate to the Staff at the lodge we're very friendly and welcoming. The rooms and the lodge it's self we beyond beautiful đ đ¤Š. I would highly recommend the place and I'm definitely interested in coming back. It's a beautiful hidden gems with Animal roaming freely around the Reserve and everything is beautiful.

It is a real bush experience! The chalets were very comfortable and they even had water and milk in the fridge. Excellent TV and air-conditioning and a big bathroom. Fantastic view of the Lake and wild animals roaming around. An authentic comfortable experience. The food was amazing!
The pool didn't look very inviting and load shedding was a bit of a problem.

Everything!! From entering the venue at the gate, I was treated like a special guest by a friendly and helpful guard. A warm welcome awaited me when arriving at reception. The chef definitely deserves a raise as dinners and breakfasts were absolutely a mouthwatering experience! And then the surprise candlelight bubble bath after dinner, what a treat.
Nothing!!

The staff was friendly and the food was good. also enjoyed how private and quiet it was
1. Itâs their curfew. we had to cancel first night of our trip because we arrived at 20h22 while gates closes at 20h00, despite being in constant communication. we had to drive all the way back to Empangeni. we lost a lot of money.
2. After we drove for 2 and half hours they couldnât serve us lunch, we had to drive to Ghost mountain for food.
3. we couldnât swim because the pool was not cleaned

It was the small details for me, the welcome letter, welcoming drinks and after the game drive they meet you with cold and smelling nice towel.
Their dinner was out of this world from starter to desert and the romantic setting.
The drinks prices are very affordable.
It's so peaceful, it's a hidden gem.
the dirty road from the main road, its scarry when passing those home but i guess it's being human if you don't know the place, but immediately you reach their gate you feel relieved.
I also wish that they can allow guest to bring kids, that place is heaven, you will feel safe when you are with the kids.

The attention to detail at Mpeti is always a cut above the rest. Coming back from our game drive we were welcomed to a candle lit bubble bath. Although it was way to hot to have a bath, it really made our visit special. The food is absolutely top class as always (this was our third visit). The quality of food we recieve while we are in the middle of the bush at Mpeti amazes me!
There was very little to improve on. One thing that stood out was that the pool was quite dirty which made having a dip in the blazing heat a turn off (but we did anway!).

the location is perfect but please sort out the road as soon as you branch from the N2. I will definitely come for a visit for the second time and i can recommend to someone else.
The road is bad more especially since we were driving the the small car.
