We kregen dus niets terug.

Very pleasant stay. Gite has good location, and perfect food

Close to a nice beach and only 15min drive to Porto town.
The price to quality ratio was disappointing. Too expensive for such a cramped room with no air conditioning, breakfast is also separate. No welcome or clear indication of instruction on arrival. This would all be fine for half the price.

There is no one at the hotel to welcome guests. We had to go searching for someone who could help us. The check-in is done at a nearby restaurant, but they could at least warn the guests about this.

Location, restaurant for dinner
Poor breakfast, no local dishes, the food was not fresh
No A/C, no mobile signal

Nice restaurant attached.
Had to make our own bed (their justification being its a Gite NOT Hotel, yet it was one of the most expensive places we stayed in our 10 days on the island), which was also uncomfortable. We did not feel at all welcomed by the evening staff, kitchen included. Very false smiles from waiter. Will not be returning.

We arrived before 11am but the room was made ready for us before lunchtime, the food in the restaurant was very typical of the area and delicious!
The room was small and okay for two of us but I think that it would be very small for 5 people
