We had two nights at Mazzola. Innocent is a perfect host, very attentive to our needs. We had great time with Steve, a fantastic hike to Napuru waterfall and in the natural forest of Mt Meru. Steve knows a lot about local nature and wildlife, he is very friendly and attentive to us. The breakfasts were excellent. The garden is beautiful and full of nice birds. Thank you again to you all, it was a fantastic stay!

Great calm place in the middle of Arusha, nice backyard with bond fire and place to hang out. Great meal cooked by staff for dinner and breakfast.
A bit hard to find but our driver called the place and thereafter no problemđź‘Ť
Friendly and helpful staff and good value for money

No breakfast. Can cook your own with limited supplies in kitchen (milk, bread, eggs)
Wifi wasn’t working. One staff member was rude (other two were very nice)

Staff is very friendly and always willing to offer an advice/recommendations to walk around. The neighborhood is not
Very touristy which makes it feel authentic and it is located around 45 min walking from city center.

We still have the look and the smile of Innocent in our head....innocent welcomed us in his beautiful comfortable house like friends...his smile is true sincere without particular intentions, his spirit is healthy and honest. He is a very smart man who prepares his future with very good values. He does not make you feel like a simple tourist but like a friend. He propose also good advices for your stay regarding safaris for good prices without being pushy. He can really be proud of him, of all he have done to arrive there! We will be back I hope!
PS : i forgot Steve the cooker, he will prépare for you a very nice breakfast :)
All was so perfect !

We had a great stay at Mazzola House. The owner, Innocent, was really friendly and helpful with everything we needed. We felt like home from the moment we entered the hotel. The chef, Steve, was also great! He cooked wonderful breakfast and dinner for us and was always willing to answer any questions. The property has a beautiful garden with various plants. There is also a super cute dog, Castro, who we enjoyed playing with and who kept us company in the garden.
Innocent organized a safari for us which was excellent. Our guide, Emmanuel was very knowledgeable about wildlife and went out of his way to make sure we saw all the animals. Highly recommend Mazzola House!
A big THANK YOU!! Assante!
Everything was perfect.

Sadly i just stayed one night. It was a really chilled area. I had a double room for myself for a small amount. Its more a hotel than a hostel.
Everything was fine.
A shower enclosure would be nice.

Very nice and confortable common areas (living room, kitchen and garden), especially the garden was perfect to relax and get a drink after a day in the town. The hosts were super kind, helped us with loundry, and gave us some useful tips for visiting the city of arusha.
Breakfast was prepared by the host in the morning and was very tasty. Also, we really enjoyed chatting with Innocent during breakfast or in the evening.
The bed is a bit short for 1.85cm tall people

Super cool hosts and lovely place.

Clean, cheap, friendly and you really get to talk to the guys running the place and have a good time among friends.
Wifi was on/off but this is a general issue if traveling in East Africa. The place is a little bit off the centre but for this it is very quiet.
4.7
All the guys who work there are really friendly and helpful. The breakfast was big and delicious (eggs, bread, fruits and smoothie).
We would really recommend the waterfall tour.
The hostel is located in a village so the road is not the best, but everyone is so friendly. We had no problem walking around, even in the evening. :)

Absolutely fantastic place to stay! The owner of the property Innocent is a great guy and took us out on some great trips to see Arusha!
The property is a little far from central Arusha

Our stay at Mazzola Safari House was perfect, we enjoy it a lot. Innocent has helpful recommendations and information about where to buy sim-card or African cloth and also where to eat in the city.
His recommendations and the info prior to Safari was also very helpful.
The place is lovely, with amazing garden and a great chill room in the garden.
Unfortunately, we didn’t have a good experience on our safari tour. Our driver was a nice guy but gave as very very few information during the safari. I was more like a silent tour. We paid a lot of money on it and we were expected to have a better guidance. And at the end, even Innocent didn’t take any responsibility on this.
4.7
Very nice atmosphere and good vibe in the guesthouse. Innocent also helped us to plan at last minute safari to Ngorongoro (all settled in 30min then depart straight to the Lodge)
Overall fantastic experience and very helpful host !

Perfect introduction to Tanzania. Thank you. See you in a few days.

For the price, this place can't be beat! I only stayed 1 night as I was moving on early the next morning, but during my short time here, the staff was super friendly and helpful. The place is beautiful, and the room was super comfortable. Innocent even got up early at 6am in the morning to communicate with the driver picking me up and to see me off. I definitely recommend a stay here!
4.7
lovely garden, very welcoming staff, felt safe, good for a simple overnight stop in Arusha
not that central location (not a problem for us), no mosquito nets, loud dog at night

the hosts were really kind, the room very clean and confortable.
I recommand it!

Innocent and his team are brilliant, welcoming and always on hand to help.
It's like a mini paradise and great value.
I'm sure when we return in the future Innocent and his team will have added more fun to the already great place.
Keep up the good work guys!

we arrived really tired after 5 days in Kilimangiaro and this place help us to recharge energy!
hot shower, confortable bed, loundry and maximum kindness and disponibility of the staff. we really want a pizza after 5 days of african food and the staff organize us a tuk tuk for the best pizza of Arusha. Nice common area with packpacking athmosphere!!

Very chill people, helped me with everything I needed. Good food, amazing garden.
The bolt drivers (taxi) didn't seem to know where the place is, but that was always easily solved by asking people on the street or a phonecall.
