Setúbal, eine sehr schöne Stadt mit Kultur, Strand und freundliche Menschen

Das Zimmer war schön eingerichtet, sehr geschmackvoll und sehr sauber. Ein sehr gutes Frühstuck nach dem eigenen Geschmack erstellt und in einem gemütlichen Raum. Das Personal war sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit.

I was travelling on my own so nervous about access but through WhatsApp it was easy as any queries were answered quickly

It was perfect for my needs , it was a 10 minute walk from the centre but near a park so made the walk enjoyable especially when the bagpipe player was practising

Great place

It’s a simple BnB with great staff, nice breakfast selection, and a pleasant, simple room, bathroom and small terrace. While it lacks a/c it has a fan and a door that cleverly opens and it remained pleasant although the temperature was over 85f at times. Cannot recommend enough.

Lovely stay in Setubal

The room was very clean. The check-in is contactless and the breakfast is exceptional.

There is no AC in the rooms, only a ceiling fan.

Efficient. Convenient location. Clean and attentive staff. Breakfast in the garden was wonderful. Price performance is great.

Lovely Stay

Location, cleanliness, breakfasts and person who served breakfast and cleaned the rooms. Very helpful and friendly. I appreciated the fan in the room. Near to bus and train station, also to park and old part of centre with market and close to river. 30 mins walk to river beach. Close to ferry to Tróia.

Room would have been cramped for 2 people for a stay of more than a couple of nights. For one it was fine.

Wonderful place with everything we needed! The blooming orange tree grows into the balcony and the owners and staff are the kindest people making us wanting to come back just to say hello. Great breakfast with the best coffee! 5 min walk to the Center and in fact nice to be off the grid ..

Excellent value for money and very clean

Breakfast was good and plentiful. Location not ideal as not many restaurants/ bars around the area. Having said that I would happily stay there again. Bedding, towels, not water was all excellent

The breakfast was extremely high quality and rich. The kitchen person was very polite and friendly. The apartment was clean.

The stears was very deep and narrow. They may be difficult for older people with heavy luggages.

A beautifully renovated townhouse in a convenient and quiet location

This traditional townhouse is located in a quiet neighborhood with an authentic feel to it, and my refurbished room had kept the charm of the times. The waterfront, some major sights, the bus and train station... are all within walking distance. The basic, customized breakfast came with fresh fruits and was included in the price. Staff and host were very friendly and ready to meet some special requests that I had. I stayed during low season (January) and found I surely received value for the money I paid.

My room was situated at the street side. Although the street was very quiet at night the room is situated right on top of a restaurant, and the chatting of customers continued until approximately midnight. A minor point: the mattress was very comfortable, I found, but the pillows seem to be filled with some synthetic (?) material that seemed out of place with all the other natural fabrics and materials in the room.

Pretty and comfortable place to enjoy

The place looks so pretty. I love the decor. The small details in the shower (like shower gel and shampoo), the option for the big shower over my head, or just the small one. It was clean and comfortable.

A reasonably priced option for a pleasant place.

Convenient location, close to the historical center and also to the train station. A nice room, nice bathroom and shower. The beds had nice, firm mattresses. With breakfast, the price per night was a good value.

The room I was in had no overhead light. There were 3 plug in lamps, but if you chose to use all of them, it became more difficult to charge your mobile devices. If you didn’t use them all the room wasn’t well lit.

Once we got into the room, we enjoyed our stay.

The room was comfortable and quiet. The breakfast was very good. The building was very interesting. It’s an old building that is well maintained. The attached restaurant was very good with excellent staff. The restaurant’s owner/chef was very friendly and helpful. We liked Setúbal.

The directions to the rooms could be better. The access codes were sent via WhatsApp and I didn’t get them until after we got there and was given access by another guest and the owner of the attached restaurant. No air conditioning. The parking was on street on a busy street.

Fantastic place to stay, simple as that!

All went perfectly well, the place is well located, in a quite street however close to the main city Avenue and pretty close to the railway and bus stations. Frankly, I did not expect such a nice room, every detail taken care of with good taste. Confortable bed, everything clean in a warm ambience. The breakfast also exceeded my expectations, again, everything taken care of with good taste. The day of your arrival you fill a "breakfast form" selecting the products you would like to see included in your breakfast, you also set your breakfast time and then the next day when you come to the breakfast patio, everything is there waiting for you at your table, the coffee just made, the milk warm and everything fresh, very nice indeed. The staff is simply amazing, always trying to do their best for a perfect stay. The Wifi also worked perfectly well, differently from any other wifi connection you might have in other similar places that is usually standard, here is better.

The only thing that I missed was a TV set in the room, I understand the idea is make the place as quite and silent as possible, however I am a Tv person, that's why, sorry about that.

A really good choice for the money

A really good choice for the money. The room is a little bit small, but it has everything you will need for a few days. They cleaned a room every day and the breakfast was really good!

The only negative is that they forgot to send us the self check-in details and we arrived pretty late in the night (around 11:30 pm.) And the phone number on the booking.com site is not working, so we asked a few locals to help us out. Thankfully the owner replied quickly so we could get in the room.

Very nice B&B with fantastic breakfast.

Very nice bed & breakfast on walking distance of the old city center of Setubal. The rooms are spacious and clean. The bathroom is equipped with a shower and is fine and the bed was wonderful. There is a list you can fill with your wishes for breakfast and there is plenty to choose from. My compliments for the breakfast.

We don't have any complains.

Lovely and quiet hotel with a cosy and home feeling.

Good location in a quiet street. Breakfast was nice and the pastel de Nata was amazing. The pumpkin jam and pumpkin juice were really nice and I loved the variety of bread. Breakfast outside was definitely a great option.

I was disappointed not to have the same items every day. On my first day I had a pastel de Nata which was amazing and I had pumpkin juice. But I didn't have it after.

Perfect little hotel, would stay again

Great little hotel with excellent service - Carla was very helpful and always smiling :) breakfast was served outside, which was lovely and tgere were plenty of options. location and the room was good, quiet area and close to the centre. Overall, it was a perfect place for our weekend trip. Would definitely book again and recommend!

Would prefer more sockets in the room, otherwise all good :)

Super nice place with great location, friendly staff and fantastic Portugese cuisine downstairs.

Super friendly place with decent location to centrum, train station and seaside. The room was small but spotless and freshly renovated and, in the end, perfect for a small family like us (2 adults and one two y.o. baby). Highly recommend choosing the option with breakfast which was very good and served daily by an extremely friendly lady. The greatest thing is a restaurant downstairs serving great Portuguese food and fantastic wine at a decent price. The staff is super friendly and always ready to advise and help. We spent every evening after putting our daughter asleep and leaving with a spy camera while sitting and enjoying our stay downstairs.

The room was great but (for this price) missing small details like extra hangers on the wall and maybe even a small TV. Also, non-tight sliding toilet doors are not very comfortable when you need to use the toilet. They just could be more soundproof.

Excellent place to stay

Carla and her staff were amazing! She speaks many languages and is really kind, so we always felt comfortable. The breakfast is great and the room is very comfortable (it was really really hot outside but we didn't really feel it thanks to the fan). The windows had double glazing so we didn't hear any noise from the street. Beds were very comfy, too!
