Excellent accommodation. Wonderful host, nothing too much trouble. Best cooked breakfast ever. Highly recommended 👌 ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

The Host Simon was very good, very accomadating, nothing was too much trouble. The views from the room were amazing
Nothing about the property itself but reaching the property from the town is certainly an ordeal for less physically mobile guests.
4.7
Beautiful view and very comfortable room. We slept really well in the super comfy bed. Very friendly hosts and a gorgeous breakfast.
Nothing really. The seagulls will wake you early but what a lovely way to start your day!

Excellent stay at Penwyn B&B!!
Location 10
Host, Simon a delightful man.
Communication before our stay, excellent and whilst we were there. Such a personal touch.
Recommend restaurants before hand so we could book. So glad we did as it was busy.
Breakfast was amazing
Fantastic weekend away 🙌
Thankyou

The beautiful views of Looe from our bedroom window. Simon and his staff were very friendly, smiley and helpful. Breakfasts were excellent, made with good quality ingredients.
The last few yards walking back up the hill to the property, but it’s good exercise, and worth every step for the views.

Lovely room with a great view.

The room was lovely, everything you needed for a break. Beautiful views of sea and harbour will definitely be returning. Also our host Simon went above and beyond.

Very friendly welcome. Comfortable accommodation and an excellent breakfast.

Location is fabulous for no more than a 4 minute walk to East Looe Beach. Just a 2 minute walk to the centre of Looe town itself. Free parking was offered and taken at a nearby property also on the same street of Barbican Hill, which was less than a 60 second walk away. The car park was substantial and allowed plenty of space for my large 5-door car to safely park, turn round and avoid using the narrow streets of Looe. We stayed in the Upstairs bedroom on the first floor with superb panoramic views of Looe Harbour. It was a large room with large opening windows allowing a cooling breeze. The room was spotless and well appointed including Netflix on the flat screen tv, a small fridge, tea/coffee facilities and a separate bathroom with wonderful power shower. Definitely would return 100% with no hesitation whatsoever!!!
I struggle to think of anything I didn't like. If I was absolutely splitting hairs then the only teeny weeny blip, which didn't spoil our holiday one jot was that the one curtain by the TV was not a blackout type, meaning light would come through early in the morning. Hardly worth mentioning.

Great location close to the town, Simon the host was very friendly and helpful. Room was comfy, and had everything you could need for your break.
There is a steep hill to walk to the property from town, which is made clear in the description of the property. But there is nothing not to like about the B and B.
4.7
it’s position, beautiful view day and night. Comfortable especially as the weather was not good. I had room to make myself at home. Good breakfast.
initially the walk up the hill but by day 4 it was a lot easier.
4.7
Very warm welcome and the breakfast was outstanding, a great little find in the heart of Looe.
Barbican Hill is tight in a big car but Simon sent us very helpful directions. Park at the top where he advises and you will have no issues.

Great location, great facilities

The breakfast was great. The room was good size with a good bathroom. Owner very accommodating. Would visit again. Fantastic double aspect views.
All great but be aware of steep hill to get into town.

Lovely views of Looe harbour, delicious breakfast each day courtesy of the lovely Louise, and welcome cookies from Simon which were absolutely delicious and a wonderful little extra touch
The road to get to the b&b was extremely narrow (more so than anticipated) and two way traffic which was a bit hairy at times! But this obviously is nothing to do with the venue, it's just the roads of an old fishing village built before cars :)
Definitely something to be wary of though!

Friendly greeting from Simon & Edwina & warm homemade biscuits on arrival.
Room tastefully decorated & together with the ensuite spotlessly clean.
Hosts available for any questions we had at anytime.
Breakfast was first class & very filling & Louise who we saw on our second morning was also very friendly & helpful too. Thank you for a lovely short break.
The B&B was situated on a hill which was very steep.
Having said that being higher up the views of the harbour from our bedroom were delightful & obviously there because of the position we were situated.
Wouldn't put me off coming again though.

Everything was excellent, great views, great breakfast and really nice room.
Hosts were amazing, really helpful and obliging, and the home made biscuits, wow.
Highly reccomendable will certainly return next year.
Nothing to dislike about the stay, however need to be aware of short steep walk from the town if you intend to book.

The view is stunning! The host was so welcoming and made us homemade Cornish fairings delicious!
nothing it was fab!

Just back from 2 peaceful super days (luckily in the sun). Lovely clean room with fab views. Very welcoming, nothing was too much trouble. Great breakfast, you could probably have asked for literally anything. Really enjoyed our breakfast chats too. Will definitely recommend it too anyone wanting to visit Cornwall. Thanks for a lovely break.
If Im pushed to be really picky, such a lovely large room could easily accommodate a k/size bed. Husband & I not used to being that snug 🤣

The room was lovelly with fantastic views, and our host was amazing, I would recommend staying at Penwyn B&B

Simon is an excellent host and this B and B is first class. Homemade cookies were left in our room on arrival which was a nice touch. The breakfast options are vast and Simon is very accommodating in terms of time and what is on offer.
The views from the ground floor room (with balcony) are superb. You can watch the world go by (from a distance) from this room. Located on Barbican hill, this b and b is close to numerous pubs and restaurants in East Looe.
Parking is just outside the b and b, however there was also parking available at the top of the hill which Simon allowed us to use which was kind.
Everything was great.

The room was very spacious, tastefully decorated and very clean. A gorgeous view. Lovely breakfast, plenty to eat, kept us going till late afternoon.
There was nothing to dislike.

clean and tidy, great view

From the moment we arrived Simon was warm, welcoming and friendly. The whole house was lovely and our room was fabulous with a stunning view over the harbour! Breakfast was delicious with local produce and nothing was too much trouble. It was our wedding anniversary and Simon and Edwena left bottles of champagne and a beautiful card designed and painted by Edwena, it was a really special touch! Thank you so much for a lovely stay and making our anniversary special. We will deffinately be back.

The directions to the Hotel were very helpful.
The view from the room over the estuary was fabulous.
The room was spacious and well equipped. It even had its own little quiet fridge!
The breakfast was very good with lots of local produce used.
The ensuite was a bit small but adequate for a 2 night stay.
4.7
The room was clean and modern and the host friendly and available if required
4.7
fantastic views
close to the town
great communication pre arrival
Not a problem for us, but I can’t lie. If you want these fantastic views from your room you will have to walk a little way up the hill, and it is quite steep.
4.7
There was absolutely nothing we could fault.
The location, the view both day & night, the room, the breakfast, the host - spot on.
We couldn't have asked for more. Even the weather was exceptional for January
