Accoglienza e gentilezza di Nelli, disponibilità e bel terrazzo

Ottima posizione, colazione buona e abbondante

Purtroppo il luogo è rumoroso, dovuto al fatto che le persone si riuniscono in strada alle 4 del mattino prima di iniziare a lavorare e chiacchierano a voce alta. Il sonno è stato quindi disturbato

Un segundo hogar en Malta

Nos sentimos en familia desde el minuto cero y disfrutamos un montón las vistas desde el balcón y la terraza. La anfitriona se esmera muchísimo por ofrecer unos desayunos caseros muy variados y preparados con mimo. ¡Volveremos seguro!

Nice but a bit too noisy located hotel

1. It is a small family owned hotel and the hostess is quite nice. However, I did have a weird check-in although the time was pre-agreed by sms. Nobody met me at check-in and I had to enter the hotel in complete darkness, as somebody switched all the lights off. 2. It is in a perfect location to visit all 3 cities, 5 min. walk to the ferry terminal from which to reach Valetta (10 euros per week, 2 euros daily ticket). 3. Quite nice breakfast with some cold choices. 4. Close to very good restaurants near yacht harbour. 5. Very spacious and pretty design room. AC. Some toiletries and bottle of water. A welcome drink. A wall heater to dry some cloths. Stylish bathroom.

1. It is on a very busily street that never sleeps and has motorcycles and cars going at high speed and beeping all night. Therefore it is not possible to open the window and there is no instruction how to switch of the AC off, if you do not want to sleep with one on. I was able to sleep with both earplugs and earphones on even with closed balcony and shutter. It is not recommended for light sleepers therefore. 2. The roof top terrace for breakfast is really nice and shows a lot of effort put into its design. However, it was quite dirty and therefore not so pleasant to eat, even if the view was nice. It has to be cleaned at least sometimes! 3. The towels in my room were so used that could have been suitable already for mopping. I recommend changing them to correspond the level of the hotel. 4. Please take care, when choosing the room as there is no lift in the hotel, and you end up bringing all the luggage upstairs by yourself up the steep stairs. Although it is a common issue in Valetta it could be a problem if you have back or joint issues.

The location was perfect. In the heart of the Three Cities. Overlooking the waterfront with amazing views. Next to cafes and restaurants. Transport -bus and ferry at the door. The house retains its original Maltese features too. Very charming. Rooms very well appointed - I slept like a baby.

Leaving! I wish I had more time To stay longer!

Charming small hotel with an attentive and caring host

Nelli is extremely concerned about the comfort of her guests; in our case, even before we arrived to her establishment with taxi assistance from the airport for a late evening arrival. We stayed for 4 days...every single day she served a delicious breakfast, changing up the offerings daily so we wouldn't get bored (although completely unnecessary!) She gave us helpful travel and tourism information too. If felt like we were staying at a dear friend's home. Everything was clean, comfortable, and we wanted for nothing. The location was excellent as well.

Lovely stay in the three cities. Very close to the Ferry to Valletta.

I liked the personal touch of the bed & breakfast. Nelli was welcoming, available, and friendly. She provided breakfast each morning and answered any questions about local things to do.

It would have been nice to have a fridge in our room to store cold water. Malta gets quite hot in the summer months!

Warm welcome, good location, relaxing stay. Would stay again!

In no particular order, friendly host, lovely varied breakfasts, roof terrace, nearby waterfront with many restaurants to choose from, and area not too touristy.

We had the first floor room (our choice) meaning no view (blocked by trees) and early morning street noise. The roof terrace and views from it made up it though!

Very nice!

Very nice location, very close to the ferry to Valletta. Landlord and cleaning lady are very friendly.

There is a neighbouring snackbar, a group of regulars come every morning very early like 05:00AM, somehow really loud talk from outside, but we managed to fall asleep again, so it’s ok.

A warm and welcoming stay, handy to restaurants and the ferry. Nelli is a marvelous hostess.

Oh my word - Nelli's B&B is positively wonderful. Beautiful Maltese home, and Nelli herself made our stay magical. The room was well appointed and the bed was soooooo comfortable. Breakfast on the rooftop terrace was exquisite.

It was a bit tricky to find. *We didn't have GPS though.

Perfect!

Superb host, superb location and superb all round! This is a great base for sight seeing with numerous restaurants and facilities on your doorstep. Breakfast is an absolute delight and having the use of the roof-top terrace 24/7 is wonderful. Nele made us feel like friends not paying guests and we can't wait to go back.

Exceptional

Location is great, very close to the ferry, with nice view and in a relatively calmer neoghborhood. The rooftop terras is very nice to enjoy especially at sunset. And Nelli is very friendly and welcoming.

A great place to stay in Malta!

Nellis B&B is centrally located in Bormla. We were served a lovely breakfast on the roof terrace every morning by Nele. She is an excellent host!

The Wi-Fi was unstable sometimes.

Beautiful view in a historic building with a welcoming host and a superb breakfast

We enjoyed our stay at Nelli's B&B very much. We appreciated especially the varied breakfast, location and beautiful room. Nelli was a very kind host, attentive, and giving us useful tips. The only downside was the noise coming from the busy road the guesthouse was located on. Despite this, we highly recommend others to visit!

We love the stay - with beautiful weather delicious food and great hospitality

I like Nelli’s house very much. Other than the good location, free parking, clean room, I highly recommend the breakfast at the rooftop. Nalli prepared breakfast every morning with several bread, different fruits, croissant with honey, nice coffee, you could sit there and enjoy the nice view of the town under morning sun for several hours … And Nelli is such a friendly and lovely hostess. You can talk to her and get good advice for restaurants, places to go etc. The day we left was very early she was so kind to prepare sandwiches with fruits for us to takeaway. All in all, we enjoyed the time we spent at her lovely place very much.

The house is located on a main street with a cafe at the ground floor, so it was a bit noisy in the morning, especially during weekends - bring your earplugs.

Nice location with excellent bus and water connections without being in the hustle of downtown Valetta. Lovely host who lives on the property and very attentive.

Exceptional

We really enjoyed our stay. Nelli is a great host, she had lots of useful tipps for us and really did everything to make us feel comfortable and welcome. The room has everything you need, clean newly renovated bathroom, a great shower and an amazing breakfast in the morning on the roof top to start into the day.

A nice and clean place to spend few days, good location with good connections.

The location was good, few minutes away from the ferry that takes directly to Valletta. The owner was welcoming and helpful. The room was clean and comfortable.

Perfect stay and a great host

Nele is an amazing host, prepared delicious breakfasts that we enjoyed in the terrace and gave us great tips about the island. We rented a car and there was always a place to park close to the house. The area is calm but there are several restaurants around and the ferry to Valletta is very close too. The room is very comfortable, spacious and well decorated. The terrace is the perfect place to enjoy some drinks after a day exploring the island. We definitely recommend to stay here!

Nele is the best host!

Thank you Nele for being such a fantastic host. Everything about our stay was wonderful! Our trip to Malta consisted of three separate stays across the country and Nele's was our first stop. My favourite mornings on this holiday was spent on the roof terrace enjoying Nele's carefully crafted breakfast and gaining lots of brilliant advice from Nele about where to visit and the best way to get to places. The room was perfect and beautifully decorated and the location was better than we could have hoped for, right next to the port where you can take the 15 minute boat to Valletta. Our holiday was as stress-free as possible all thanks to Nele! I will definitely be recommending this place to all of my friends and family and I hope to visit again very soon :)

Perfect!!!!!!!

The room was in a traditional maltese renovating building, very well equipped, very clean, they were fixing our room every day. The house is very close, 3min away from the ferry to Valletta, 7min with the boat, every 30min, very convenient. Birgu is very close too, a 10min walk from the house. Nele, itself, is a wonderful host, she made us a different tasty breakfast with excellent materials every day, she gave us info and advices for the island, she was very helpful, she booked us, Alan, an excellent driver and we visited the island, everything was great, the island is great. I certainly recommend Nele's house for your holiday, Nele thank you, we'll come again!!!!!!!!!!Georgia & Spiros

Nothing everything was excellent!!!!!!!!!!!!! I should mention that the building have stairs, If you have kinetic issues, maybe it would be a problem, otherwise it 's good for the heart and body!!!!!!

Excellent accommodation, perfect location

Fantastic location away from tourist crowds with easy access to Valetta. Wonderful, welcoming host. Excellent breakfast with fresh fruit, cheese, and cold cuts changing daily. Very comfortable room and wonderful rooftop for breakfast and hanging out.

Fantastic place with great view from the rooftoop

Wow ! What an amazing converted townhouse. Right on the marina, comfortable, clean with a fantastic rooftop terrace for breakfast with views across Valletta and a fabulous breakfast.
