PERFECT!
What a relaxing vacation this was for 2 blue collar workers and Alvey, the Golden pup! Claudia's cabin was perfect for all of us. It was great that the pup had a huge fenced in yard to romp around in and the cookie jar was filled with dog treats. The loft was so comfy for a good night sleep. Claudia was very responsive to all our needs and we are looking forward to our next getaway. Thank you Claudia đ

First, Claudia is an excellent host. She is responsive, helpful, and fair. I recommend her. I believe she'll read this as the constructive criticism it is meant to be.
If you are single (and have a large dog) or a couple (with a large dog) looking for a rustic/quirky cabin with above average appliances for a stay short enough that you can laugh off its shortcomings, this may be for you.
However, for anything longer than a couple of nights or for a couple looking for any romance or, frankly, anyone without a dog, this cabin needs TLC before I'd recommend it.
The photos on VRBO are outdated. The yard and deck area are overgrown with weeds. Cutting these back would be a huge improvement.
Kitchen: The appliances are better than one would expect and it has most but not all of what you'd expect a rental property to have.
1st Floor: is dingy and the sectional sofa (not what is in the photos) is dirty and threadbare. We put a spare sheet over it so that at least one of us could sit. If you are used to having large dogs on your couch, you might be fine. However, some newer and cleaner furniture that allows for people either to sit separately and converse or for a couple to snuggle, would be nice.
Bathroom: The concept of a clawfoot tub with only a handheld shower spray might seem oddly fun for a day (and the fixture itself is good quality). However, please just put up a shower curtain to allow the guests to actually shower. Plus, the tub now has rust stains so squatting uncomfortably to try to get clean just gets old.
Bedroom: There is promise here but it needs attention. The current king-sized bed is several old layers of memory foam on top of two box springs. The foam has lost any sense of form and is simply hot. No hope of romance. Please get a descent mattress and put it on a low platform.
Two additional points: One: the windows seem to be high quality but most lack screens, which is a must for a humid summer in the woods. it would have been much better to be able to open more windows. Two: the cabin needs a good deep clean and de-cluttering. Get rid of some of the books that might be outdated or moldy. Update DVDs. Update some of the photos. Add art. Dump random mugs filled with empty matchbooks and candle stumps.
For us, the last straw was the critter living the wall behind our heads in the bedroom. I know Claudia will take care of it but...
There really is promise here for the Karma Cabin but it needs some TLC to realize its potential.

Karma cabin
This place was everything we could have asked for. We were able to bring our dog and he was very "at-home" while staying. We had no issues, but Claudia was very responsive when we reached out. I would absolutely recommend this place to anyone and would not hesitate to stay here again.

We stayed with our two dogs and everyone loved the property. The yard is fenced in which our dogs loved to play in the yard with all the snow. The area is amazing with Morristown and Stowe so close. Recommend doing grocery shopping at the Hannaford's in Morristown. The Shaw's in Stowe is a little farther and a lot pricier. Really could not have asked for more. Claudia was always available for any issues but happily we had none. Highly recommend it can't wait to go back.

Awesome stay!
We all loved the Karma cabin and Claudia! My son who is usually only interested in sugar and video games, asked to come back which is very telling. The dog loved it too!

Had the most incredible visit with Claudia. She was extremely helpful and the house was even better than we could have expected. Our dog loved running around the fenced in yard and we will without a doubt be returning.

Quiet and charming cabin in the woods yet conveniently located to Stowe and Morristown.
We had a fantastic stay at Claudia's cabins. There's lots of wildlife and scenery on sight and plenty of places to hike and swim and ski right near by (weather permitting of course). The cabin was clean and perfectly size for the two of us and our dog. Our dog was right at home here too! We will definitely be going back for another visit.

Peaceful and Private
The Karma Cabin was charming, cozy, peaceful, and simply the perfect place for my new husband and I to celebrate our recent marriage with our dogs. The cabin was gorgeous and comfortable, close to many outdoor recreation opportunities, and in a quiet country setting perfect for relaxing. Claudia is a kind and gentle soul and her cabin and property relays this same positive energy. I would highly recommend staying at one of Claudia's cabins and we hope to return soon. Truly a magical log cabin in the woods!
