Super clean home in the perfect location only a block and a half to the beach and about a mile to Siesta Key Village. We felt like we were on our own island. It was hard to leave the backyard because it was so big, but totally surrounded by trees and completely private. Neighborhood is very quiet. Very pet friendly, completely fenced and our 2 dogs loved it. Screened in porch was where we ate all of our meals and spent most of our time. The lap pool was fantastic because people could be in the pool but still socialize with people sitting in the porch or on the lounge chairs. Mike and Boo made everything so easy, made sure we had bikes, beach chairs, umbrellas- anything we needed. We stayed for 5 weeks and even the pool guy (came weekly) was super nice. Even better than the pictures convey. Highly recommend.

We had such a WONDERFUL time! The owners are absolutely fabulous and SO accommodating!! They even put in a new hot tub within a couple days when it went out!! Cant say enough about how wonderful this home is! Great location and perfect for our dogs as well!! We will be back! Thank you so much!! We really don’t want to leave!!!

I can't say enough good about the property and property manager. The location is close to the beach and downtown area. The house was clean and very comfortable in a quiet neighborhood. We loved the pool and the privacy it offered and the fenced in yard was great for the dogs. We plan to stay there again.

I loved the location of this house! It’s great proximity to the beach. The house is big enough for a family and has everything you need for a week stay including a pretty big lap pool. The only things that irked me were I was not notified about the hot tub being broken. The point isn’t that I was planning on using the hot tub in a hot Florida summer but I still should’ve been notified prior to my arrival since I was booking the house based on the amenities offered. I think as an owner of a property you should notify the people before they get there of anything that may be broken and or missing based on what was published in an ad. That being said it wasn’t a big deal and the garage door opener also was broken and that wasn’t a big deal either. It would still be courteous to notify the clients before they arrive. We were given a tour provided by the property manager upon our arrival which was great and informative however nobody informed us of the red tide that had been occurring in the area. I think as out of town guests are arriving with no prior knowledge of such a phenomenon it would be courteous to inform them of what is going on instead of just offering info on all of the lovely beaches that are in the area but now we can no longer visit because of the red tide. All in all the vacation was so-so but mainly because the red tide ruined it as to no fault of the owner. I would hope to visit Siesta Key at a different time when I found actually utilize the beach across the street! Do your research people!

We had a wonderful time at this location. The property managers were extremely easy to work with. We wound up coming in earlier than expected so as to avoid Tropical Storm Elsa and they were wonderful about letting us check in way earlier than we expected to. Being able to cook at home and use the pool after a long day at the beach was awesome! Would definitely return! Thank you for the memories!

We just stayed for 1 week, we loved it! It is in a quiet neighborhood, short walk to the beach, perfect place eligible for free rides to nearby places too. Pool temp was always great. Beach is so beautiful!! The only thing I did not like was the room with with double beds never seemed to get cool enough even with fan on and air conditioning set low, maybe a bigger ceiling fan like others are throughout the house may work better? We brought our 2 tiny dogs and they loved it as well. Any time I messaged owner or prop manager I always got a quick response back. We can’t wait to book here next year !!

Mike’s house is in a great location. Short walk to the beach and the neighborhood was very quiet, nice for an evening walk or bike ride. The house itself was perfect for our group, 4 adults. Spacious but not too big, kitchen was well appointed, and of course the outside was wonderful. Very much enjoyed the pool and the lanai along with the grill! Mike and Pam were very responsive and made sure we had everything we needed. Will absolutely be back!

House was great, owners were more than helpful. I would recommend 100%. My teenagers 16 and 18 used the bikes constantly to hang with friends staying on the beach. My younger ones 9 and 13 loved the pool and hot tub! We used the beach cart and chairs to walk down to the public beach, which is of course, beautiful! Owners couldn’t be nicer:) Would rent again👍🏼

We were in this house for a week and will go back as soon as possible. The location is perfect, the house is clean and well cared for, the kitchen is extremely well-appointed. All in all, it's a very easy house to live in for two or four people. All we needed to do was unpack and enjoy Siesta Key.

We stayed in this home for 3.5 weeks while we moved into our new home in Lakewood Ranch. The house was perfect for what we needed. It had all the comforts of home. The location in reference to the beach and downtown were great. We did not use the beach much only because we were busy with our new home. The downtown is walkable from the home, and a nice area to walk around. There are many great restaurants in the downtown too. The owner and his wife were wonderful to work with. I would recommend staying here. You will enjoy.

This little house packs a lot of bang for your buck! It is super clean, updated nicely, the master bath shower is awesome! There is a little area in the middle of the house with a pull out sleeper sofa that is a hidden bonus! There were 5 adults and we were very comfortable. The location to the beach is just a short walk. The pool is more like a lap pool and I wasn't sure if I would like that, however I found it kept my 10 year old grandson far enough away and I could float and catch rays without bothering him. Everyone in my group was pleased. Kitchen is a little small, and the crushed shell is not comfy if you like to roam barefoot, other than that it is a perfect beach house. Lot's of amenities provided. Jack and Mike were both great!

Better than a sterile, impersonal condo, this is a very private little house in a lovely neighborhood--a very short walk from the beach and a pleasant walk into the village. The screened-in porch is spacious and a bonus. The bathrooms and the kitchen are very modern and new, everything was clean, and you get your own little pool. Bicycles are provided in the garage.

This was my first trip back to Sarasota and Siesta Key in 10 years and the first time I had the honor of bringing my husband and daughter with me. Siesta Key is beyond beautiful and although it was hot as heck (which we expected - August) the house and pool exceeded our expectations!!! The house was clean, fully stocked with everything you could need and totally comfortable. We loved every minute there and this was the best VRBO rental I've ever found - and I use this site a lot!

We just returned from a 10 day vacation at this property and had a fantastic time. The beach cottage is wonderful and great for families. Our kids loved the lap pool and the beach is amazing. The property is in an excellent location for walking and biking to the beach and village. The back screened in porch was a great spot to sit in the evenings or just to get out of the sun. We also really enjoyed having the bikes. The village area had some wonderful places to eat and one of our favorites was the Sun Garden that served fresh healthy breakfasts and lunch. The property had everything we needed and was very clean and well taken care of. We hope to return next year. Thank you Mike for having such a great spot! Darlene

Our stay at this beach house on Siesta Key was the highlight of our five week visit to Florida. The home is welcoming and comfortable. Every attention to detail was given to make our stay effortless and pleasurable. The proximity to the beach, village and mainland Sarasota for sightseeing made it the perfect location. I can't think of anything to improve upon. Our thanks to Mike for providing us with such a great vacation spot! We hope to be back again.

The pictures do not do it justice - the kitchen and master bath are beautiful! The location was superb, the fenced yard was handy with our little dog and the pool was perfect for those hot days and nights. I went vacation in Siesta Key on June and I found this house in Homeaway.com. The listing was accurate very close to the beach literally 5 minutes walking or by car 60 seconds. The house was clean and has everything you will need for vacation. The onwer Mike and Jack were great and very helpfull. First time in Siesta Key and i was worry but to tell you the truth you can find anything withing 5 minutes driving. I loved the small downtown area with the bar and restaurant with the live music everynight. Moreover concrats to the onwers great accomodation. Defenility coming back to this place.

My husband and I just returned from a weeks vacation in this perfect location on Siesta Key. The home is within walking distance to the beach and everything is provided for you: bikes, chairs, umbrella, cooler, bags, towels, maps of the area, toys and bags to carry everything in. The pool is the perfect size and is beautiful and clean. The outdoor shower came in very handy. The home is clean, very user friendly and has a nice kitchen with all of the accessories needed. Siesta Key is a charming town with good food and friendly people. We explored Siesta Beach, Turtle Beach, Casperson and Nokomis Beaches and even found fossilized shark teeth in the water! The boiled shrimp at Sharkey's and the clam chowder at Captain Curts are a must eat!! Sarasota is close and has great grocery stores and shopping. The Drum Circle on Sunday night was a blast and sunrise and sunset on the beach is indescribable. We love Siesta Key, and will definately be staying at this location again! Thanks Mike and Jack! You were great!

I write this review from the stand point of someone working hard to become a highly seasoned beach bum. We spend as many weeks/weekends as possible exploring beaches, mostly in FL. We come to Siesta most often as it is "The best beach". With that said, this is a great beach cottage in a great location with EVERYTHING you need! You can't tell from the pictures, but this is your own little paradise in Siesta Key. Very private surroundings yet close to beach and village. The owner and manager were very easy to work with and really do want this to be an enjoyable retreat, which it is! They have done a great job keeping the old Florida charm and mixed it with modern and a little retro. It's very inviting, light, airy, & tastefully updated. You will not want to leave! We hope to return as often as possible. Thanks for being a gracious host and allowing us to use your home! We hope to return soon!

This well kept traditional one story home has been beautifully upgraded. The master bedroom and bath are new, sunny and spacious. The kitchen is all new. There is a pool and hot tub. Our favorite space is the large very private screened lanai which enabled us to read morning newspapers over breakfast, enjoy poolside lunches and candlelight dinners. This is a perfectly renovated, well-supplied home a block and a half from the beach and five minutes by car or bike to the village. We were charmed and look forward to another visit.
