The position in village was good
The room and the bathroom and an unpleasant smell. The floor was dirty and there were hairs in the bed. There were dirty dishes in the kitchen cupboards.

The place Is in the center of the city. The rooms were nice, cozy and clean. We were very happy with the kitchen and the fridge.
We had requested months ago, that one of the rooms should have two separate beds. We found all rooms with twin beds. When I called for assistance the lady become rude indicating " we are fully booked and if you have any complaints inform booking". So I am following her advise.

Great location, fantastic kitchen and shred space for guests. Can cook your own meals.
We had the very small room. Next to bottle store, building is not attractive from the outside.

Much better than anticipated - spacious apartment with huge common area where you can comfortably cook and meet fellow travellers. Room was spacious enough with good bathroom and shower. 2 mins
walking distance from whale watching tours.
Nothing to report - just as (or better than) described.

Very nice room, very big kitchen and living room, all online.

Good location. comfortable bed. easy check in. coffee machine. Free wifi.
Four mugs for over 10 rooms and all chipped.
No kitchen cloth so people using the tea towels. Only two tea towels could be found - both dirty.
Holes in sheets. Hair in shower.

it was clean (as I would expect any accommodation) and furniture was rather new (although chest of drawers and a bedside table with a lot of storage space are unnecessary when people stay only a few nights and take up too much space in an already small room).
completely misleading description of this “deluxe” room (102) when compared with the other deluxe rooms we saw. We were told on the phone when we lodged a complaint that it was deluxe because the size of the room was 14 qm. In this room there is a lot of unusable space so this definition of deluxe is very misleading. The side of the bed is up against a wall so that the inside person had to climb over the outside person to get in and out: not deluxe.
With 2 people and 2 suitcases there was no more usable space in the room: not deluxe.
We saw the other deluxe rooms and there is a big difference. This room was basic at best. The representative on the phone was less than accommodating - a reduction in price should have been offered - and because it wasn’t, this is a rip-off. Our review would have been much better if the standard and the price had been more in-line.

Beautiful property. walk to heart of town. lovely town. Spotlessly clean.

The hotel is located centrally and the room was a standard size for Iceland. The common area is right off of the room but not an issue as everyone staying was quiet and courteous.
The blinds were broken (although they did also have drapes), one of the table lamps was broken and the towels were old starting to shred.

Location in town was excellent. Everything was clean and tidy. Livingroom and kitchen were well appointed and large. I liked the topo map of Iceland downstairs. Enjoyed the coffee and tea provided.
Stairs were a bit steep, and bedroom was a little small. No breakfast provided.

nice location for going on a whale watching trip
booked with breakfast included and then there was no breakfast and host only communicated after there would be no breakfast. they were unapologetic and simply stated I didn’t pay more for the included breakfast however we were not prepared to NOT have breakfast because it stated included. also would not have chosen that place. shower did not drain, while bathroom floor was soaked and all of bedding was mildewed

We just loved it so much! it is a self check in so no need to fret over icy roads and delayed arrival times. We had a beautiful decorated roam with a balcony and a very clean new bath. Breakfast was included. There are 2 rooms on each floor with a shared kitchen and TV. Enough privat space but with the possibility to make contact.

The room was very spacious and the beds very comfortable.
Lack of sign posting meant we did not find the kitchen, so missed out on the breakfast basket that had been provided

The accommodation is clean and modern. The rooms and the beds are nice. The kitchen is well equipped. We really enjoyed our stay here!
We liked everything. Our only suggestion would be to inform guests how to use the coffee machine. We saw a lot of people struggling with it.

central location and quiet room. the mattress was nice and the bathroom was a good size. Easy self checking. Plenty of free parking.
we only visited the kitchen for the breakfast. the kitchen had flies everywhere and the rubbish bin was overflowing. The coffee machine was broken.
the cold breakfast was the saddest I’ve seen in my life. in the U.K. this would be of a value of MAX £3 per person.
the windows had never been cleaned and you can bearly see outside.
just one pillow provided that was flat and soft providing no support. nothing like the bedroom picture in the gallery.

clean and comfy
bread was running out. I saw travelers made sandwiches and packed for their trip. it’s fine but not fine either. Other guests can’t enjoy it. or the guesthouse should supply enough bread.
