Pire expérience en hotel que nous avons connue.

La proximité avec l’aéroport

Jusqu’au dernier moment, l’hotel s’était engagé à nous envoyer sa navette pour nous récupérer à l’aéroport mais en arrivant, ils nous disent qu’il n’y a plus personne pour venir avec la navette. Nous nous sommes retrouvés à payer un taxi, plus cher et ils ne voulaient rien entendre pour nous faciliter la situation. Une fois arrivés, nous découvrons que les draps sont remplis de cheveux et poils. Je me suis retrouvée à devoir les changer avec la femme de chambre. Nous étions assoiffés et avons demander une bouteille d’eau, ils ont voulu nous la facturer. Aucun geste commercial au vu des divers désagréments.

It was a memorable stay.

Everything was great. Overall it was really good and I had a great time. The staff was excellent and friendly. It was a warm environment. I liked the location very much.

My room was a little small and the bed was located so that there was very little room to walk around or sit. I would have appreciated a little fridge and a small desk to work on. Sometimes the lobby was noisy.

Bad experience

Really dirty. We arrived and the room was really dirty, especially the bathroom. Below the bed and inside the drawers there was the trash of the previous guests and the shower was terrible, full of hairs on the wall. The towels were dirty, with hairs… One window was broken, once entered in the room, it was falling apart and it was impossible to open it. It was a bad experience for what we paid.

The Golden Palms House is one of the best places to stay - anywhere.

Hotel staff were friendly and so helpful. Felt like home. Breakfast was outstanding - hot pancakes, eggs, bacon, fresh fruit, juice, coffee. The room was spotless and very comfortable. We highly recommend this family owned property.

Fantastic, great staff, comfy stay!

Beautiful grounds with pool, whirlpool and beach right across the street. Great convenient shuttle for just $20 to the airport and nice included breakfast.

It didn’t matter to me but there’s no elevator to second floor though they carried my bag up for me.

Disappointing. The water in the room was barely lukewarm and the rooms were disappointing.

The breakfast was free.

Unfortunately the fruit provided tasted as though it was left out of the fridge, I asked for bacon and received sausage with no explanation and the food was served lukewarm.

Friendly staff, location is convenient to a small-town area and bus route. also close to the airport.

place needs a little repair. towel holder not secured to the wall, because screws pulled out. little things like that. It is close to the airport which is convenient however airplanes fly right over hotel on landing.

Nice for a getaway but far from main tourist areas

The staff was very helpful and polite. The hotel is right across from a 2-minute trail to Love Beach. The location is great for a calm and relaxed getaway.

Cleaning could definitely be improved. The staff seemed willing to clean if asked, though. Since the hotel is very close to the beach, having a faucet in the external area to clean feet and shoes would drastically make it easier to keep the rooms and common areas clean. If one wants to go downtown or to the tourist areas, taxis can be expensive (USD 50 to 80) and the buses are cheap but very unreliable.

This is a very convenient and comfortable stay for us.

Very nice breakfasts. The room we were in was great. The pool was refreshing, though we only went in once. The shuttle to the airport is a good deal.

There was some confusion with the dates of the booking. I don't blame Golden Palms. They took care of us.

The location was close to the airport. The staff were very friendly and helpful. The courtesy shuttle to the airport was great.

The bed was not a queen. It was in fact a double bed. We booked a queen, informed the staff the bed was not a queen and they insisted the bed was a queen. The staff told us in the Bahamas the double size was a queen...really. That a sad lie to try and pass off to guests. The shower temperature did not have any warm water, even at 4:30 AM. We only had the hot tap turned on and it was a goose bump shower. The walls and doors are paper thin so bring ear plugs.

Great location, comfortable bed but thin walls

Excellent location close to the Beach and local bars/restaurants. The hotel has lots of potential due to it's amazing location. Bed was very comfortable. Lovely views of the ocean. Fridge in the room is a good touch for keeping water/drinks cool.

The walls are very thin, and the room we had - had an adjoining door (without the occupant of the other room being known to us). Jacuzzi was unavailable and battened for no entry. Noise from other rooms is evident.
