Superb!!
Everything & Everyone was perfect

I loved this place - the location, the decor and the atmosphere were amazing.
No fly screens on the windows
4.3
Breakfast was very good with the surrounds making it an excellent morning.
Nothing really

The staff were extremely friendly and helpful. The grounds are so peaceful. On arrival we had a drink on the balcony and it was a good place for our group to sit together.
I didn’t realise our rooms were up stairs, (user error as we didn’t ask). We regret not taking up the offer to upgrade our rooms. The shower head in our room needs to be attended to.

We had the Continental breakfast and it was all you could wish for. The chef was very pleasantly accommodating (at short notice) in providing gluten free cereal and bread for my wife. The previous evening's meal was excellent. We could not have asked for more and our experience with the food was complimented by each member of the friendly and service oriented staff.
4.3
Beautiful building. Fantastic staff. Awesome food.
Our room and bathroom were very small, but OK for the amount of time we spent in there.
4.3
The dining room/bar with two fire places was a real highlight
The upstairs rooms are looking very tired at the moment but i there was a room I saw downstairs which has been refurbished and it looked terrific. The upstairs rooms are small but the bed was comfortable
4.3
The staff were nice
The rooms were very outdated
Heaters hopeless
Bathroom wet and slimy walls - no mats, heating or extractions fans. Bloody cold.
4.3
The breakfast was very good with enough variety and quantity to satisfy myself and my wife. The decor was beautiful and reminded you of a bygone era. The staff were very attentive and willing to assist with every request. Despite the inexperience of some staff they maintained a friendly and amiable manner and never appeared flustered.
We would have liked a mirror in our room as well as a chair or a small table to sit or place some of our objects. I am sure most people mentioned how slow the toasters were in the breakfast room. A small detail though.
4.3
The guest house is very quaint inside, it's quiet and the rooms are comfortable
No TV in the room, although there is a TV room
4.3
Location and the area. Building has old charm true.
We were a bit disappointed. No warm welcome on a winter afternoon!!
No places to sit in front of a fire place, as shown in pictures.
A big room with a sitting area, a small heater. No tea and coffee facilities in the room.
Bathroom was cold and no proper shower.
In the tub was the shower and it got clogged each time.
Breakfast that was included was only a continental breakfast.
In winter, a hot breakfast is such a necessity, especially when the hotel has advertised it as breakfast included, where and when I made the booking.

A magnificent guest house with plenty of old world charm and great staff.
4.3
Breakfast was good and the coffee was excellent
Dinner was stand-out and superb value
The delightful communal rooms were cold apart from the dining area - be fine in summer. Need more open fires
4.3
Location, dinner was great, the beds were clean and so comfortable, the sitting room in the room was great.
2 single and 1 double bed and great space.
Nothing, it was all great.
Will book directly with the Guesthouse next time.

The hotel has been done up so beautiful. The furniture and attention to details make it feel like a movie set. the sunroom for breakfast was an absolute must
4.3
Friendly staff
Beautiful grounds and rooms
Delicious free! Breakfast
4.3
Comfortable bed and clean linen. The manager was very helpful.
There is no bar, cafe or restaurant. The rooms are advertised as having tea and coffee making facilities however that is not the case;; there is a tea and coffee making station in a communal area in the building. Entrance to the building needs to be made easier.
4.3
The whole place had the vibe of a huge house rather than a hotel. Felt homely! The history of the place is retained and the staff were exceptional. Very good breakfast...overall very good!
Sounds like I have to write something so some more activities for kids considering the rooms didn't have TVs which the adults liked🙂
Breakfast could be improved by some variations to the menu for people staying for longer..
Internet connectivity could be improved.
4.3
Absolutely charming place.

The absolute pleasure it was staying with strangers who felt like family. No TV in the place which made for a personable experience and allowed us to appreciate the quirky and delightful staff as well as the other visitors.

Good continental b'fast. Excellent coffee, friendly and helpful young staff
No opening window in Room 8. A temporary abberation, but annoying. I like fresh air.
Stairs a problem if you have arthritis . Got help with our bags. Great.
