About this villa rental
Welcome to our beautiful 3-bedroom Villa at Blue Bay Golf & Beach Resort! Our villa has been freshly painted, is close to the pool, is a few minutes walk from the beach, and is surrounded by a beautiful tropical garden. Hummingbirds and butterflies will probably visit while you are relaxing on your veranda.
Because this villa is one of the most elevated residences, you can enjoy the ocean breeze while watching a beautiful sunset from the villa's patio.
The Villa has free Wi-Fi, an Apple TV, several board games, playing cards, a small library, and more.
The kitchen is fully equipped (coffee machine, electric stove, microwave, grill, cooker, toaster, etc) and has some ice-cold beers and non-alcoholic refreshments upon arrival.
We provide bed linens, bath towels, and beach towels in the villa.
All bedrooms have air conditioning.
Energy and water usage are not included. Based on the meter readings and the actual rates of the utility companies, we will settle the amount at the end of your stay.
The average costs are about USD 70-80 per week.
About the resort
Blue Bay Golf & Beach Resort, a private gated community with a beautiful white sand beach & golf course, has 24/7 guarded access.
The resort's private beach is one of the most beautiful beaches on Curacao. It offers sheltered swimming for children and very nice snorkeling. You might even see the sea turtle that visits the beach occasionally. The beach entrance is free for our guests!
You will find a diving center, snack bar, restaurant, and bar on the beach. There is also a joint private pool equipped with sunbeds and beach umbrellas.
The resort also offers a tennis court (free of charge) and free parking next to the villa.

Great location, central on the Island. Nice beach and good accomodation

Our girls’ trip was such fun…the property was very comfortable for the 6 of us! It was easy to get questions answered by the host and property manager. The kitchen had enough basics for our needs. The resort is conveniently located; close enough to airport, Willemstad, and many beautiful beaches. We would love to visit again!!
A side note: Be aware of the hills within the resort and many stairs to get to this second floor villa (if anyone in your party has trouble walking/maneuvering steps)

The other listing we would not take said only bedrooms had AC. However there was no AC in the kitchen/dining area FOR THIS UNIT and it was a week with 38+ with humidex so it was extremely uncomfortable, heat exhaustion. This unit didn’t have a flipper for eggs or pancakes, the kitchen and balcony do not have good lights can’t see in the kitchen after dark. Kept moving a lamp around to see in the kitchen and to play cards on the beautiful deck. Also no oven only a stove top and microwave (I do NOT use microwaves!) So could not make pizza nor do baking. We were looking for a new place to go, this will not be it. Too HOT, too hilly, and too compacted together and the walkways are not straightforward. It was hard to find the unit! The unit number is NOT on any of the signs and even though I found the one numbered before this one there was no way to get to this unit from that one. My friend’s husband had mobility issues and the stairs and hills were too much for him. If he had been healthy it would have been better. I was very upset the listing says it is air conditioned but doesn’t say only in the bedrooms. It was the worst time we have had in 6 trips to Curacao, could not be comfortable in the unit unless going into the bedrooms and putting on the AC. The more you use the AC the more extra you pay at the end. It is a basic place with basic furniture and not very good items in he kitchen and very few dishes, perhaps just getting started and will put in nicer stuff later.

The location is wonderful and the property exactly as described a wonderful holiday! The on site beach is beautiful with multiple restaurant choices and a very close market help make the property ideal.

Not our favourite
Everything was just okay. The property itself is spacious and the deck is large. It’s close to the supermarket and town (by car) and easy enough to drive to the best beaches on the west side.
But we’re not a fan of compounds and this one is enormous. The view is mostly other buildings and there is no privacy from other families. Blue Bay is a massive development that takes away any dream of being away from it all — just too many people / tourists. It’s a 5 minute walk to Blue Bay Beach.
The unit itself is comfortable enough but everything is dated and in need of some TLC. The bed was particularly uncomfortable. The kitchen equipment (pots, cooking utensils, glassware, etc) is in need of new everything. Fridge doesn’t get very cold.
The property manager showed up at 1030am to make sure we left and we were rushed out.
We were provided with a baby cot and beach passes which were appreciated. For a couple nights, it’s a decent place to stay in order to check out some of the western beaches but the unit would be a lot better with some small adjustments.

Fun in the Sun
This was a great accommodation that suited two couples. The location was great and the manager was helpful in many ways when asked. Great pool just a min walk away and an awesome beach just 5 mins walk away. When we return again this is the place we will book again.

We loved it
Our girl’s trip to Curaçao was a success. The villa was wonderful. We had a fridge leak that was quickly corrected by Will so it was no issue. The pool was under construction while we were there, but it was ready for use a few days into our trip. We never did laundry, but be aware that the “dryer” is actually a rack on the deck just in case you are expecting an actual dryer. They are adding a large section of buildings and another pool to the the Blue Bay so our relaxation was a little hindered by all the work going on around the property. However the snorkeling and the blue water distracted us from all of that. The Sunset bar was also closed while we were there for renovations so that was also a bummer. We ate at the Azzaro (I think that’s what it’s called) and the food was terrible. Fortunately, during the day the beach bar food was better and the drinks were excellent. We also had a rental car and found lots of good places to eat around the island. It was a fantastic vacation over all and I want to go back as soon as possible. I would stay at the Blue Bay again. We all felt safe there and were satisfied with the accommodations.
