Absolutely fantastic weekend break in the lakes!

Loved the friendliness of the owners , always smiling , great service at exceptional breakfast . Well situated for my n

The owner couple were amazingly friendly and helpful , offering very helpful information, umbrellas etc. , also carrying my suitcase from car to room . The place had its own car park .Well located for bus stops, or walk to Lake …. room was small though comfortable, Breakfast was fabulous, to kill for , all fresh and healthy products .

My room was up very steep stairs. The front exit opens onto quite a busy road . There was no communal sitting area . , other than at breakfast.

Great hosts and perfect breakfast

The hosts are superb and breakfast is splendid. Our room was cosy and comfy. It was kept very clean. The bathroom was small and water pressure was somewhat limited, but it was spotless and had everything we needed. The beds were good. Nearby parking is offered by the facility, which is convenient.

The couple were so helpful and accommodating. Breakfast was fantastic, all locally sourced, high quality products. Coffee and tea top-ups and the offer of additional sausages and bacon made every morning at breakfast. A pamphlet designed by the owners with regards to local walks and activities further afield was so useful!

There wasn't anything to dislike about our stay!

Location was excellent. Quiet. Didn't hear traffic at all even tho it's a main road near. Room was lovely and clean. Well presented. Hosts were brilliant and helpful and the breakfast was beautiful!

Lovely, comfortable and friendly place to stay

Lovely comfortable place to stay close to everything in Bowness. Spotlessly clean and the room had everything needed (TV, hairdryer, iron etc) and really nice breakfast included. Steve and Sam are great hosts, adding the personal touch 😊

pleasant short stay

I liked the location and that it is en-suite

over priced for the small room definitely price needs revised. breakfast was small for the amount paid and fruit bowl consisted only of melon!

The owners were excellent hosts from start to finish. Breakfast was fabulous. Room was very clean with all facilities needed & a welcome gift. Free parking Would stay again.

Only negative was when trying to locate the guest house when driving but the owner was contactable for guidance.

Best stay in a while

Absolutely everything was PERFECT. Best hosts ever. Couldn’t be happier with ny stay. Comfy and spacious room, breakfast that kept you going all day, friendly owners and brilliantly located. Will definitely come back!

Very nice B&B with very friendly & helpful owners

Very clean, modern, functional rooms with tea tray. Extremely friendly and helpful owners, they were always open for a chat and gave us usefuls tips about what to visit in the area. Very good English breakfast. Free parking available ca. 100m down a hill (not very easy to find at first) Walking distance to the center of Bowness-on-Windermere with many shops & restaurants & the Pier for boat trips. Good Wifi

The house is directly next to the main road and there is no space for unloading luggage. Road faced rooms quite noisy (if windows open). One room was quite small (this is clearly described in the booking tool, though.)
