The bedroom was spotless, comfortable and well furnished. Wonderful views from the bedroom and private patio area outside room.
The dining area was in need of refurbishment. It was dirty in places and a gentleman was allowed to have breakfast in there with bare feet. I do not think this is acceptable. The reception gentleman on arrival was lovely. Every other time we passed reception we were ignored.

Whirlpool und Pool für die Kids, tolles Frühstückbuffet
Das Servicepersonal beim Abendessen war nicht sehr aufmerksam, lief 1 Stunde hin und her ohne zu fragen ob wir noch etwas möchten…

Great vie of the loch and room was clean
Central heating was not controlled by guests. This made it really difficult on the first night. Facilities listed on website were minimum 40 minutes away although not specified as off site when booking.

Stunning location. Lovely big windows let you take in the view. The pool and whirlpool were lovely. I’m the room there was plenty of space and the shower was great. Cleanliness was good. The starters were delicious, the staff were friendly.
Lack of experienced staff. Probably not enough staff on.
Service was ok but no one checked if our meal was ok. My main was not ok (tainted muscles) and I was given a refund for that dish but not offered an alternative. It took so long for anyone to come over that my husband had finished his meal. We had desserts and the brownie was great but the apple cinnamon pancakes were cardboardy, cold and bland. Both were served with delicious ice-cream and fresh berries so someone had done their job!
The pool and whirlpool were only slightly let down by the tiny changing rooms and the fee for a towel (cheeky!) What was a shame was that you could neither breakfast nor swim early. Breakfast started at 8 and the pool didn’t open until 9.
The room had a slight whiff of damp to go with the fabulous view. The decor was revived quite effectivly by painting over the textured wallpaper, it still smacked of fallen grandeur. The shower was amazing but the toilet barely flushed. As other reviewers said, It was indeed 2 single beds rather than a kingsize. All of this was forgivable but the hard mattress was not. It was clearly a quality mattress, sturdily built to last! I like a firm mattress with a topper but bits of me went numb lying on this!
Such a disappointment.

La piscine et le jacuzzi était très bien. Sur les coups de 18 Heures, nous étions seuls dans l'eau.
Le lit est vraiment trop ferme.

The perfect place to fall in love with Scotland! Excellent location, close to many trails and tourist attractions. It has a stunning view to the Loch and the surrounding mountains. Very friendly, helpful and kind staff, superbly equipped, cosy room and delicious food. To return.

The staff were very good and very welcoming.
The parking was plentiful.
The view was stunning and the rooms had great balconies.
Food on first night was excellent - prawns and then chicken on a bed of haggis (chicken a bit overdone)
Haddock chowder was fab
The ale was off.
For a hotel at that price there was no fridge or mini safe in the room.
The kitchen closed at 8.00 p.m.
I had to order a burger en route back to the hotel due to an unexpected delay and the burger at 8.00 p.m. was rock hard
The amazing seafood dish was not available due to unavailability of the local oysters.
Shower tray was blocked but resolved next day.
Sink and toilet were both cracked.

The facilities were great and the restaurant and food were above expectations, Breakfast was ample amounts of breakfast items and never ending coffees, fruit and continental style for every ones taste.
Could have been asked if we wanted a downstairs room as we had 2 floors and no lift to get up and the staff did not offer to take our luggage to our room along with our dogs bed, couldn't get into room until after 3pm we arrived 2 hours earlier and were left to our owb devices.
4.1

No ascensore, colazione semplice .

Location is superb with stunning view across the loch. We had Captain’s room with balcony and were very fortunate with the weather so was lovely.
4.1
Dinner was excellent - good choice and reasonable value.
Breakfast was buffet style but plates were cold and food cooled very quickly. Window seats gave great view but were quite cold with draft coming from windows.
4.1
Rooms are spacious and well equipped, and access to private balcony was a bonus. Staff are excellent and helpful. Buffet breakfast had a great choice of cooked options, juices, and cereals.
The pool and hot tub can be busy, but we found that just after lunch was quieter.
Extensive menu for lunch and dinner is reasonably priced for quality and portion sizes, as are drinks.
Used glasses and cups in rooms are not replaced with clean ones.
Overall decor is in need of a freshen up.

Overall fine
On arrival we were given the wrong room. They only realised when I asked where the extra bed was. At meal times they theoretically carer for gluten free and/or vegan. One of our party is both. Ordered burger. Told bun not gluten free. Got burger, no bun. No effort with alternative. Equally at breakfast limited options for this party member. To peacefully accommodate such requirements you, as a venue, should make it as easy as possible for the person to notify you, then accommodate and/or suggest alternatives. It wasn’t with you! We won’t be back, for that reason alone. Shame because otherwise the stay was good enough. If the venue should see this review I would welcome direct (offline) feedback. This is not a random comment from a spurious visitor, like those at the top of Ben Nevis, moaning about the lack of toilet facilities!
4.1
Bathroom was lovely - good size bath and lots of room!
Weather was a bit rubbish but balcony meant I could still enjoy the lovely view but stay dry! I even had the doors open for some fresh air!
Staff were super friendly and helpful.

Friendly staff, great service, food great, location stunning
Bit tired and needs some care
4.1
Lovely spacious rooms with great views
Having to walk through reception to get to pool
4.1
The views are amazing and having a balcony to sit and listen to the water.
The tv position and that you can’t watch it from the bed.
4.1
Scenery from the window is spectacular. Heating is perfect. Jaccuzi facing the mountain and the sea is a plus. Breakfast could have more variety of food like porridge and pancake, etc or slightly different daily. The bathroom could have bigger sink and bathtub maintenance. Overall it was excellent.
