Lage nahe am Weinberg,
sehr gutes Frühstück,
Biergarten lädt bei gutem Wetter ein
interessante Gerichte (u. a. Wild, Pfifferlinge),

grounds were lovely, places to sit not just at restaurant tables, proximity to cycle path and hiking paths. Room very quiet even though opposite the water wheel. loads of easy parking, could lock bikes away.
Breakfast, no coffee in pots, no plates to put hot food/meat on. Starters arrived after the mains for evening meal and staff seemed surprised when we said we didn't want them after the main course. However staff were all very friendly, just felt they needed more support and traiining.

The hotel surroundings are beautiful with a very nice outdoor seating area for drinking and dining. The breakfast room had plenty of seating and the breakfast was good with lots of variety.
The room we stayed in was very small and basic, the bathroom was tiny with very little room to move. It would of been ok for a one night stay, but for five nights we stopped it got annoying.

Excellent location, hotel is being renovated and continues to be a hotel I enjoy staying at - great food and wine on offer - it's always a great stay.
I dont know if it's general that hotel prices are going up in Europe hence my score for value for money - but a little bit pricey - once renovated then the price would be palatable.
The hotel had live music on one of the nights staying - which was enjoyable and a lot of locals turned up for the evening which was great.
Nothing I didn't like. Apart from price it was a great stay and a welcomed one at that.

A beautiful and quiet setting, full of character and an excellent room.
Nothing negative at all

the building noise in the morning . We were the last room in front of the wing that was being renovated. They started I think around 7.30 which was not ideal.
I also found the water wheel and stream noisy, but he that’s nature 😃

Great location, great for long distance walks and nearby Trier. Restaurant is good enough, great breakfast.
Personell working fine but under very poor management.
(young) management should behave better and work along with the personell instead of standing in the way.

Renovations undergoing, impossible to sleep. Very dusty rooms.
Noise from early morning. Hamering next door room all morning.

this is a Weingut and they also have hotels and restaurants. unfortunately in the Christmas eve there was no food supply. but I would like to eat for the next time and enjoy the wine. the room is big enough for 2 persons and the equipment are good. the bathroom is also very clean and comfortable. the location is ok for driving. it is just next to Trier and easy to travel to other cities or abroad. the breakfast is super and it was fully booked that night during holiday. Al last the staff are quite nice and ready to help.
there is nothing I did not feel good.

Clean warm rooms, ample parking, good buffet breakfast,
On arrival after driving from UK , waited at reception for 15 mins after ringing bell twice-no one came, although chef was looking through the window .I knocked on window for acknowledgement .. to be be greeted by a display of aggressive/ negative behaviour.. me and my elderly mother were quite upset and shocked by his behaviour.
when receptionist eventually arrived, she brushed his attitude off ,this tainted our 5 day stay , we would not be returning or recommend .

Beautiful hotel in a water nature reserve/vineyard. Very comfortable and clean room with garden, we stayed on the quite side. Great plentiful breakfast. Lovely restaurant with reasonably priced meals.
Check in and out could be easier.

The staff were mainly friendly and helpful - some spoke English.
The room was a reasonable size; it had a good view to the courtyard/garden. A 'night door' near the room gave useful access to the parking area.
There was a good bathroom and good shower. The bed was comfortable.
The breakfast was mostly good - but access to coffee was difficult due to other guests.
The room was very cold, even when I turned up the radiators. It did not warm up until the morning.
I ate an evening meal at the hotel restaurant. The choice was only fair, and my pizza (flammkuchen) was also only fair.
I ordered a dessert but it never arrived - I was not charged.
Since coffee was provided in a number of flasks, other guests appropriated these and so access was difficult.
4.5
A perfect location to explore Trier and the surrounding areas, with ample parking. An excellent evening menu to eat alfresco when the weather allows under the shade of trees and vines. Ample breakfast choices. The room was clean and tidy with a nice bathroom and shower. The staff were lovely. You can even buy wine from the winery! We would definitely stay there again.
