About this house rental

The Sharp Park neighborhood is 10 miles to San Francisco and 20 miles to Silcone Valley. This is a great place to rent if you are here for work or to explore much of the San Francisco Bay area. Work hard all day and relax at night by our large fire pit while listening to the waves 50 yards away. Hike open trails along ocean and into hills.
Escape to the beach! Less than 50 yards walk to Pacifica Pier and beach. This cute coastal cottage on an oversized lot offers 2 bedrooms and 2 full bathroom. Updated electrical, plumbing, insulation, dual pane windows, newly landscaped front yard with deck. Stainless steel appliances and a convenient breakfast bar. The backyard has BBQ , fire pit, pergola. Walk the hills, golf (public course 1/2 mile away), surf at the beach, or catch dinner off the pier. Easy location to shopping, local restaurants, and cafes. Wonderful hiking trails along the coast (our beach is almost 1 mile long) and into the hills (trails, just off the beach promenade, lead all the way to Half Moon Bay). Public transportation a short walk from the house connects you to all the sights in San Francisco. Here is your chance to be close to the beach and ocean. Can sleep up to 5 people. Wifi, 2 TVs- both with streaming apps. Off street parking.

All of the linens and appliances are of the highest quality. The shampoo and condition are all organic.

The house was perfect for our family of 4, it had a neighborhood feel and was also easy to get to the city, SFO and other areas. We loved walking to the pier or local bagel shop around the corner to get coffee and pastries before we woke the teens and started our day.

The property was lovely. It is a bit tired in places such as the fire pits don’t work now. Also the shelf in the fridge fell out first time we opened the fridge. Overall the location is superb and it was a really good place to stay

The house was so cute!! Exactly as the pictures/description showed. It was our first time using VRBO. The process was super easy. Host responded fairly quickly to our question about the WiFi. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. It was a great location too. Thank you!!!

Overall, the house is very cute and it's not the properties fault for the cleanliness. A couple of the issues were dishes still in the dishwasher, we didn't have enough towels, so went out to wash them and found all of the towels still in the washing machine. We have no on how they had been there but they smelled sour so we had to rewash those. Also, somebody prior had spilled a bunch of lavender scented essential oils in the master bedroom, which made the smell overwhelming. I did need to try and contact the property manager with no reply for over 24 hours which was annoying but not a huge shoe. However, if it was an issue of me being locked out or something time sensitive. it would've been a major problem. Also, something to keep in mind is the bed in the master bedroom is extremely hard. I think it's probably the hardest mattress I've ever slept on. My son slept in the second bedroom and it did have a mattress pad on top to make it softer, so I'm not sure if something happened to the mattress pad in the master bedroom or if they just didn't have one.

Great location, we got to watch a pretty sunset when the sky was clear. Close drive to other beaches. The cottage itself was very cozy. Lots of amenities. New renovated master bath was a great addition. We thought it was only one bath. Laundry area wasn’t accessible from inside the house but it wasn’t a big deal, easy access to use the garage. The fireplace was nice when it wasn’t too windy. Overall, it was a great experience for the family.

I booked this property because of the close proximity to my son’s apartment. This was his wedding weekend. An added bonus was that the beach ceremony was just a short walk from us at sharp park beach. The cottage was comfortable and roomier than we expected. A newly remodeled kitchen and master bath were a bonus. We had a couple of small issues, missing and iron, and fan remote. The host replied promptly but item were never found. A front door mat to wipe feet would be nice to have. We always took shoes off outside as requested. The backyard fireplace was very cozy as well. Would definitely recommend!

We got locked out. Tried to contact host no response. Got back in on my own. No sure why the washer and dryer are separated from the house???? Was a major inconvenience for sure. Not sure why half used personal hygiene products were left out to be used. Ie: lotions &oils. Barking dog outside for hours was not what we expected. The pier and beach were nice. Not what we had hoped for considering the cost.

Gonul was a very responsive host. Everything worked beautifully. The house provides a high level of comfort, and so close to the ocean. Highly recommended.

The place was great being close to the pier and coffee/ breakfast shops near by. Half moon bay and Santa Cruz was a great drive, along with spending days in downtown San Francisco. Beautiful November weather, overall a great trip.

House was perfect for our visit to San Francisco. The owners provided everything needed for our stay,,plus a few tasty treats upon arrival. Took us about 20 to 30 minutes to get to the downtown attractions. It was also great to walk to the beach to enjoy the sunset.

What a find this place is! The beds are sublime, the house itself very gracious for a party of 2-4, and the yards are almost appealing enough to keep you from walking a block down to the water, or along some of the most scenic national park paths. We loved our stay at the beach cottage. Our favorite part was getting cozy by the fire after a long day of exploring Pacifica and the surrounding area. We loved the close proximity to the beach, hiking trails, restaurants, and coffee shops. We’ll be back!

We thoroughly enjoyed our time at this property. It was well appointed and offered some fun extras (robes and slippers, etc). Unfortunately, it was not nice enough during our stay to enjoy the outdoor area...but we were 1 block from the ocean and did get to enjoy a sunset or two from the pier. The location was close to San Francisco - but afforded us the opportunity to escape to tranquility by the ocean.

This cottage is a perfect place to spend a vacation. Way better than downtown San fran. No parking problems, super easy to get to San fran if u want. Really nice amenities, the house was all ready for us with treats, candles and scents. Super comfy beds and really nice backyard with awesome fire pit. Sleep to the sound of waves. Perfect !

We were here to visit UC Santa Cruz as well as our daughter at Berkeley. It was a great location for going both places and other sightseeing. It was foggy the whole trip, but still an excellent location for walking on the beach and hearing the waves. Great outdoor space I am sure we would have used more with better weather. We did cook some and the kitchen had everything we needed. The house could use a detailed professional cleaning and airing out of one bedroom but was adequately clean and perfectly comfortable. The beds were very comfortable.
