Young lady at reception really good. Asked if I wanted to speak English or Spanish and when I said Spanish to practice she spoke slowly and clearly

Friendly, helpful staff. Location was good. Rooms were well decorated even though they were small.

In suite bathroom.
No outside window. There was a window from room into hallway, in the bathroom that connected to a small interior courtyard, but lacked light. Very small. Hard bed. No hooks to hang clothes.

The shutters on my room were stuck, which meant that other guests passing my room, could see into my room and bathroom. (Albeit dimly - they would definitely have been able to see a shape in the shower.) This made me feel very uncomfortable. Staff should have realised this.
The room and bathroom. (Please see above) . The de-humidifier was huge and took up half he space on the room’s small table.

Very friendly hostel in the centre of Merida. The staff was helpful and helped with the luggage too. Room was nice, clean and with comfy bed. Efficient aircon to help with the hot summer. The room had a traditional house feeling (that's a positive). There was also a very small fridge in the room, enough for few drinks only. Everything in Merida was within walking distance.
Parking is not available in the centre of Merida, but you can find on street parking spaces within 10 mins walk from the hostel so it's not that bad.

The value for money was very good, it was like a hotel room. There was a big airco unit the nice temperature and overall very clean, everything you need.
the room had no outside window

Location, very nice host, clean and comfortable, ideal for solo traveller!
Not very intimate rooms as you could easily hear your neighbours. The fridge was bearly freezing, there was no balcony, very little space good for one night though

I would totally recommend this hostel! I was nervous because it was my first time travelling alone as a sceptical young women and I was absolutely feeling safe and welcomed the whole time. The staff is very friendly and helpful and the hostel is only 5 min away from the city centre, where all the monuments are. 10 out of 10!
The beds could be renewed, because I felt the springs

our room was very noisy especially the first night second night was better although I should imagine staying here longer than a couple of nights would become tiresome.

Lovely people, even lent me an umbrella when I woke up to pouring rain.
A hotel heater that works as intended! a rare and welcome treat with unseasonably cold Spring weather!
Excellent location, easy to walk to museums and archeology.
