The hotel employees were amazing, really helpful and nice. The hotel is pet friendly and you can tell everyone there love animals. rooms are a good size and beds are huge.
Tv was too small.

Good location of course for the village, everything a short walk away (few metres of steep incline just before the entrance for those who are less able). Staff were absolutely brilliant, friendly and attentive. Very clean with a large water bottle provided in the room every day. breakfast was lovely, including freshly baked mini pastries each morning. Staff even made us a little pack up to take to the airport with us in the morning!

Beautiful hotel. As it look on photographs

It is not a boutique hotel, but a very standard three-star hotel, on a hill, 15 minutes walk to the beach, large rooms without atmosphere, with old rustic furnishings.
Terrible staff: we spent a quarter of an hour looking all over the hotel for the receptionist, the room was unprepared in a half-empty hotel, we had to get towels for the bathroom twice, then we gave up. In the room available TV of the smallest size and 1 tea bag. Breakfast also in the usual range of three star hotels ns coast. The high rating of the hotel is completely incomprehensible to me.

This is a really nice hotel. Our room was comfortable and clean. It had a private balcony with a view of the beach and the sea. Breakfast is excellent and dinner in the restaurant was very good. The pool is superb as are the staff, who all made us feel very welcome. Particular thanks to Antonio who was always happy to advise on things to do and see.

Facilities and staff were excellent.
Everyone were ever so helpful !
Comfortable bed, clean and nice quiet pool area
Not that we didn't like, but we feel that lunch menu could be different from dinner one.
Especially as the choices are quite limited.
Although the food was great so no complaints.

It’s a fantastically beautiful hotel with a very attentive staff. I stayed at the hotel for an anniversary and my fiancé and I got our room upgraded and a complementary champagne. That was simply incredible. The view is something else also and a jacuzzi 🤤

Beautiful small hotel with great room and breakfast
Restaurant is not very inviting-no atmosphere, but beautiful poolside dining possible. Menu has no indication of price range.

Wonderful staff and very nicely decorated. Food was lovely.
Besides the main manager / owner nobody spoke a word of English but it did add to the authenticity.

We really enjoyed our stay here so much. Everyone was so kind and welcoming, the breakfast was good and the hotel was perfectly located and had free parking possibilities. Agua Amarga is so beautiful. We would definitely return.

The hotel is beautiful, Javier and his team are excellent, nothing was too much trouble, from the chef , waitresses, housekeeping and maintenance man...they all worked together to ensure we had a marvellous stay for a birthday weekend . Our room was huge, a corner bath and a separate shower room, the views are stunning ....breakfast was particularly good, and all protocols were observed during our stay ...
As we are both over 65 .. relatively active, the only downside is the very steep hill to and from the hotel ( some 50 yards, not wheelchair friendly ) other than that it was an easy stroll into the village.

Towels needs changing in evenings- damp
Breakfast came by 2 then 15 minutes later the other cooked breakfast for remaining two guests !!
