Nette Unterkunft am Heidschnuckenweg

Wir hatten ein großes Zimmer mit einem extra Wohnzimmer und einer Kitchenette. Das Personal war sehr freundlich und das Frühstück sehr lecker.

Die Matratze war für mich zu weich, aber das mag ja jeder anders.

Great value for a multi bedroom property with kitchenette

Breakfast was excellent. Lots of choice and great service.

No curtaints or other fixtures on the windows to stop the light comin in during the summer season. Also fly screens on the windows to air the rooms without the bugs coming in would be really helpful

Cosy stay with excellent food!

We had a lovely stay with the family in our own house so we had plenty of space. The food in the restaurant was excellent and so was the breakfast.

Superb

Nice big space, i liked that the door is actually a window, so you could put the upper side open while the dog couldnt leave. It was also nice and cool in the middle of summer. Great bathroom/living room/bed. Great breakfast with a great host (very happy dog)

The location was nice, but we nearly drove past it. Also if You wanted to walk the dog you couldnt do a calculated route of less than an hour. The pillows are also very thin

Dog friendly hotel perfect for walking.

Location - in the middle of the Heide, trails direct from the door. Very dog friendly and engaged staff.

Restaurant only serving warm food until 19:30.

Exceptional

They were very welcoming. The restaurant was surprisingly good and If you had small kids there was also a small playground. The walking paths started directly from the hotel.

The mobile connection was bad.

A nice room, good breakfast and hiking trails just outside the door.

The staff were super friendly and they were awesome with our lab. The location was great, we were in the middle of Lüneburg Heide. Once the car was parked, it's where it stayed until we left. All our hikes started right from the place, after breakfast that is. The cool part was we could get a warm meal in the evenings when we came back from our hikes. Because it was out in the boonies, it was very peaceful at night. If we had better weather, we could imagine how awesome the stargazing would have been. We want to come back again.

A nice and quiet place ideal for families and groups.

This is a very nice and quiet place and perfect for families and family reunions. The location at the heart of the LünerbirgerHeide is perfect. The rooms were clean and comfortable, even though beds, furniture, etc. were somewhat dated. The breakfast was perfect and the personnel most friendly and helpful.

There is not much to improve, except maybe that some of the furniture would benefit from a major "overhaul".

Value for money with all comforts provided. Dogs welcome & humans too😉

Landhaus Eickhof is a great place to spend a quiet holiday on the road less traveled. Courteous staffers begin your day with warm greetings & farm fresh eggs made to order. A variety of choices provide a hearty breakfast for many tastes. Top that off with a spotlessly clean room, a comfortable bed and plenty of hot water. Value for money, tasty regional food & great servers completes the dining experience. The snitzel was amoung the best I've had, covered in a exquisite mushroom sauce. Our stay in the magical Lüneburg Heath was enjoyable thanks to our hosts at Eickhof!

My singular wish would be a possibility for outdoor dining during this Covid era.

Fantastic value

Stayed one night! The hotel is in a pretty area in the forest with horses roaming around. Our room was big, quaint, very comfortable and excessively clean. The hostesses of the hotel were really friendly, courteous and hospitable. The hotel has a restaurant with amazing home made food (restaurant is open from 12-14 and 17-20 o’clock). Delicious!! (Beware - the portions are big) Breakfast was big, many different options and absolutely delightful. We will definitely be back!

hope we can go again!

Fantastic place, we have been there 3 times in a month :) Great surroundings, building with character, very nice and professional people, awesome food and beer and atmosphere for cheap money. One of our favourite places in the countryside around Hamburg. Unfortunately we do not live in Germany anymore, but I really hope to get back one day. Thank you!
