the pool and the entire location of the property is excellent

The pool could have been tad bit clean. The only Rea I felt improvement could be needed. People are great, property is well maintained. We had a very comfortable stay. Highly recommended.
This is not a direct reference to the property, but I think I must mention it. The tours you recommend for guests should be good ones. Don't connect guests to petty tours and travels that charge an arm and leg and are unscrupulous. I booked a drive home with Malcah Tours.and Travels with Mr Manoj. Well, understanding our situation, they charged exorbitant. We were not forced, but we could clearly see how we were being taken advantage of. If possible, please get in touch with tours and travels who have some ethics. Taking profit is part of the game but not the whole game.

It was cozy
There were shoots going on in the initial day...and warm water wasnt available in the bathroom

Safe comfortable place. Great service and delicious food.

The place has a calm atmosphere created aesthetically and restoring old world charm with modern facilities.

The whole staff under the expert supervision of Ms Vinitha the manager was exceptionally courteous and skilled. There was a personal touch to everything which made the stay very comfortable and pleasurable! Very nice ambience but a bit noisy on the front side due to the busy street! great location and food and shopping places a walking distance away. Recommended every time!

the staff was good, and good location.
Well the place is ancient and great for people who would like to stay in past it's an old cottage British styled architecture, its great for a day just for the experience i would say.
there were lizards and mosquitoes. they burn frankincense in the evening literally smoke up the whole space.
4.2
Great central location with lots of restaurants and shops around. Nice large common lounge spaces oozing old world charm. Beautiful antique wooden flooring.Small but clean swimming pool.
All room are unique so you never know which room you will get. The first room we got was adjacent to the reception desk. The second room a/c failed at midnight in peak summer. The bath room here was just an enclosure within the room itself.
They finally upgraded us to the third room which was decent. The mattresses in all rooms were uneven and caused severe back pain the next morning. The central air-conditioning left much to be desired. In all fairness it was peak summer.
Being located next to the sea walk, evenings are crowded and noisy with loud music playing through speakers. Windows were not to be opened for mosquito menace so it was a bit claustrophobic.

Beautiful Swimming Pool
Great location near to many points of historical and cultural interest. For a few pounds a Tuk Tuk will take you anywhere.
Beatuiful Room
Beautiful building

I can’t recommend this hotel enough! We only stayed here for one night but I honestly wish it was more.. Everything was just perfect. Our room was beautiful, overlooking the square! The common/public rooms were beautiful and I would have loved to spend more time in there. And the pool! it was so refreshing , calm and relaxing. Also, the beds were so comfortable!! Everything was just perfect in my opinion!! Would definitely advise anyone staying in Fort Kochi… to stay here!

location , pool and room was awesome
too much of mosquitoes.

we loved the beautiful settings, the localisation in the heart of fort cochin, the old age atmosphere
even though they were friendly, the staff was not trained enough. not a place for a quiet evening drink
4.2
The beds and bed linens were very comfortable and the pool was gorgeous. The breakfast was tasty, and the room cleaning service was very good. The staff serving breakfast were very nice.
The room we were offered had no natural
light light and was on the ground floor right off the main entrance to the street. We asked for another room and were told we would be upgraded for free to a room on the first floor. The room we were given was actually a significantly cheaper room (not heritage/lower ceilings, no heritage furniture) and also had very little light but was quieter so we accepted for the night, but asked to be switched to a heritage room. The staff did not ever switch us and refused to adjust our bill to reflect the actual cost of the room we stayed in. In general, the grounds/space (with the exception of the pool
itself) felt run down given the price. If you are able to get a first floor heritage room it might feel worth it, but otherwise the rooms felt very overpriced for what we got.

Great location, place, room, facilities

You have to like the very special colonial ambience, that this old, historic buldings have, to fully apriciate this "non-hotel" (as they call it). It is not a 5-star hotel, but more reel looking like in old days. We find it absolutely charming and compaired with at wonderfull pool, which was just outside our very spacious rooms door to the garden, we really enjoyed our 4-nights stay - and extended it with another night. The starff is so friendly and you feel at home after few hours.
Nothing.

I liked the location of the area plenty of good food and cultural sites to see
nothing

Location. A heritage building
Not helpfull staff. Not renovated building
4.2
Location is great, breakfast is nice and housekeeping and F&B staff are good.
We were initially shown some terrible rooms - without any windows or light and only given better rooms when we insisted on it. We paid top rates and the rooms were not occupied - which makes you wonder why the default need to give Indians the worst rooms.
DO NOT stay in the ground floor rooms especially given how much you pay for it.
The toilets in most rooms have been created by enclosed parts of the room (ie walls but no ceiling) as the room ceiling height is quite high. Didn't realise how important this was until one of us used it and you realise you can hear (and smell) everything that goes on inside.

quiet, even I. the centre of kochi.. super clean pool , massive heritage room, great dosa for breakfast
nothing

Prabhakar was an outstanding host. The common areas and pool are expansive and location very central.
Nothing on particular... mosquitoes were a nuisance here too as all over Kochi
4.2
The location was central and fantastic. And the staff were very sweet.
Pretty much everything else. The room was booked for 2 people, yet the first room they gave us had such a tiny bed that it would have been impossible for two people to fit in. Got them to move our room which had a one big bed and another smaller single bed tucked away at a corner which did not get the AC nor the fan. To add to this, the room was right off the reception on the ground floor - the doors and windows were not sound proofed and the curtains were so flimsy that every time there was sound or light in the reception at night, we were woken up. The worst part was the mosquito menace - the staff did not bother giving up mosquito nets or mosquito repellant or mosquito bats to deal with them. After a terrible sleepless night, when we complained, we were told ‘there are mosquitoes everywhere!’ We got them to move our room again and then they organised mosquito nets, repellent and bats and then we spent the next two nights killing dozens of mosquitoes as our evening activity!

This was my 4th time in Tower house hotel, here you always feel like at home and cared for. The Staff is very helpful and kind, they arranged the airport transfers for us which went very well, also I could have a late check out and even a shower before I left Kochi, as I had to fly back to Amsterdam in the evening. I highly recommend this place, also the location is perfect.

The staff, the cats, the ambience, the breakfast and the overall property.
WiFi was a problem in our room, so had to step out of the room to work. But connectivity in other areas was fine. Just our room was a problem.
