Warm-hearted hosts, excellent service, very helpful, clean yurts, great experience. Amazing to recharge for our further journey. Thanks to the Happy Nomads family!

Se stayed in a charming Yurt, and that was a pleaseant experience. We bookes for 3 nights but stayed in total 6 nights, because of the very good Advice and service from the host family. They helped organizing hinkes, horseback riding and also a multiday tour within our stay at the accomodation. Our best recommendations both for accommodation and guiding for an unforgettable stay in a very beautiful area.
We was pleased with everything :-)

Highly recommended to those who want to experience a yurt stay. We really loved our stay for 2 nights - the owner and his family were super warm and helpful suggested us to take a memorable trip to Jeti Oguz and mountain route back to Almaty. They also made a wonderful spread for breakfast!
Toilets and the beds were so comfortable and clean and they have a beautiful garden at the yurt site. Location wise is good, near to city Karakol. We miss everything about this place and definitely will stay here again if visited Kyrgystan as they just had the yurt renovation.
Nothing :)

While the location is slightly outside of the main part of town, I thought the experience was 100% worth it. The owners have created a magical oasis at Happy Nomad, with comfortable accommodations, tasty food, and a charming setting. The family is absolutely adorable! Highly recommend.
The only slight downside is being just outside of the main part of town, but again, I think the experience was 100% worth it.

The Yurt camp was lovely, clean and comfortable and very friendly family staff. The Yurts themselves are clean and cosy, cool in the heat of the day and warm enough at night with plenty of power sockets. There is good wifi and good breakfast provided. Showers with hot water and proper flushing loos. When trying to find it, don’t get put off by the backstreets, it is exactly where maps.me and GoogleMaps say it is. The owner and his family were so helpful, giving us tips for places to eat in town and helping us organise kayaking and putting us in touch with a brilliant company for a trek to Ala Kul (a very hard trek but unmissable if you are there). He also helped us plan our drive from Karakol to Osh, through the mountains and via Son Kul, putting us in touch with guesthouse owners in the towns we planned to stay in. Couldn’t recommend more highly!

Breakfast was delicious and homemade by the lovely owners - it really felt like we were being treated in someone’s home.

Tynch and his family were extremely friendly and made you feel like a family member.
They helped with everything you needed, calling taxis whenever you needed ( 1 euro no matter where you go), they took time to explain everything about the mountains and areas without trying to sell anything, among the honest people you would ever meet.
They even cleaned all my clothes when down from the mountains at a very small rate.
The Yurts were so impressive and with lots of space.

Very hospitable family driven establishment.
The manager Tynch went out of his way to make our stay as enjoyable as possible. Top class guy. Top class place.

What an amazing place to stay! I was travelling with 4 friends as we were passing through Karakol on our way to trek in the mountains for a week, we stayed here for 2 nights and really wished we had longer to spend at this beautiful hostel. All 5 of us stayed in one of the yurts and it was perfect: beautiful colors and design, just the right temperature, comfy beds, plenty of space, outlets for charging our electronics. There is a BEAUTIFUL garden that the yurts are in the middle of, it is really this peaceful sanctuary just on the outskirts of Karakol. The bathrooms and showers were clean, there was a great common area to hang out in, and a lovely breakfast room. The hosts are amazing and so helpful! Tynch and his family gave us some great tips for in Karakol as well as for our hike and they helped us with so many things like booking taxis to our next destination. The breakfast each morning is delicious! Delicious fruits, breads, meats, eggs, and even an amazing cake each morning. Like I said our only regret was that we didn't have longer here, you could easily stay for a week and just enjoy the beautiful surroundings and relaxing atmosphere. We will absolutely stay here again when we return to Karakol and would recommend it to anyone visiting the area!
We loved everything about this place!

The moment I stepped into the garden I immediately felt at peace. The beautiful flowers and cute yurts and other facilities made me feel like coming home. I wish I stayed longer. It is a place from where you can travel in the area but also a place you can take some time to yourself. The family who owns it is also amazing. The owner is really nice and helped me when my flipflops broke and also organized a nice restaurant to go to and gave tips and tricks on what to visit. His mother also gave me great advice on where to travel to and his wife made a lovely breakfast in the morning. I loved everything about this stay. Oh and it was also very clean which I find important.

Lovely Yurt in a beautiful garden, friendly and helpful personnel that speak English well. Clean bathroom facilities.

Very friendly helpfull people/family. Wonderful dinner. Beautiful garden
Toilets are sitdown toilets, i’m ok with it but family members preferred western toilets. A bit too far from center Karakol to walk (but that was clearly indicated)
