Excellent staff very clean and warm appartments fully funcional kitchen and excellent pool

Great value for a getaway weekend

Location was excellent the entertainment on Friday and saturday was excellent unable to try out a lot of the othere facilities because of the very poor weather

Know it was self catering but would have been a nice gesture to provide some necessities ie, towels, tea towel and few toilet rolls, bin bags.

Will definitely return best site ever

Fabulous place lots of things going on all day fantastic for kids and this visit we didn’t take the grandkids and enjoyed the adult entertainment in the adult bar amazing

We liked staying there, we’ve been before, and will stay again. Just parking is an issue at times

The location is ideal for us, a short walk into Silloth, which is a place we like. Also places like, Keswick, Cockermouth, Workington are easy to get to from the site. The apartment had a nice new shower, and central heating, which was available to use day and night.

The settee, and chair were very badly stained, but nothing rubbed off onto us. The attachments on the fridge door were missing, making it difficult to get everything into the small fridge. The main problem for us was parking, I think the bays should be numbered to each apartment. When we came back at night, sometimes we couldn’t park, and had to go right to the front of the site, and have a cold walk back to the apartment. There was parking for seven cars at the back of the apartment, ( I know because for a few days seven of us did park there ) so when we couldn’t park at the front we’d go to the back. But when new arrivals came,often people parked without considering others, so only five cars could get in, and again we couldn’t.

On the whole all good but would be nice for caravan to be more functional

Not enough storage. No hooks for jackets, dressing gowns, wet towels or hand towel in bathroom. Nowhere to put shoes. Wardrobe space very small and awkward. Also hate beds not being made up.

Good holiday plenty to do recommend Jack's surf bar Allonby for a meal

Everything was fine bowling was a bit expensive

The beds weren't comfy especially the double bed

Entertainment was excellent, have visited twice, and enjoyed both our stays .

Family holiday

We really enjoyed our holiday.The bassenthwaite apartment was really nice clean and comfy. The cafe had lovely food entertainment was really good and shop was nice.Swimming was really good all amazing would come again thankyou.

Enjoyed the site and will book again

Good location for travelling around the area, did not use the catering facilities but very good cafes pubs ect in the area. Good leisure centre maybe a bit small for the size of the site which was not busy when I booked. Apartment was clean and bed was comfortable.

Furniture tired and dated but adequate .Had a problem trying to book with bookings. com which resulted in my bank card being frozen recommend dealing with the site direct.

Had a great stay and booked for next year.

Great holiday park with lots to do. Apartment was clean and close to amenities. Breakfast in the cafe was good.

Water pressure in apartment was weak. Difficult to wash hair in shower. No socket next to a mirror for drying your hair.
