A découvrir absolument !
Nous reviendrons sûrement !
A bientôt 🤗

Le petit déjeuner et le lit.
Chambre du dessus bruyante. La télé trop forte à côté. Les chambre ne sont pas assez isolé.

Nothing,dark and could location

It was well located in the town centre with a well equipped bathroom and comfortable bed. It was quiet
It was fine, but the taking of a deposit against damage was a surprise to us for a stay of one night

Basic hotel and room but clean and had everything you need. Breakfast was excellent with a good choice.
The staff were helpful.
Nothing to dislike.

Very warm welcome and good local information from Remy. Traditional alpine decor. Comfortable bed.
Very small bathroom but I guess you can't have everything in a nice old building.

Breakfast was correct.
This hotel could have been so much better. For starters, an unsmiling welcome when I arrived. A simple question: is there a lift was met with the explanation ‘the building is 120 years old.’ I asked because I had a heavy suitcase and I didn’t see how I would be able to carry it up two flights of steep stairs. Eventually the manager/owner asked if I needed help.
The room was clean but grossly overpriced. The bedlinen was basic, a flat sheet and an itchy duvet. There was no mirror in the bedroom only one in the bathroom. I didn’t sleep much either because a guest in the next room snored throughout the night. Obviously thin walls.
Finally, on registering I was asked for ‘une caution de 100€.’ When I looked surprised, the manager/owner said do you understand? Having stayed in hundreds of hotels and worked in hotel management in my hospitality career seeing how the room was pretty basic, I was astounded he would ask that of a guest. Next morning I was told that if all was correct in the room I wouldn’t be charged.
If he has had bad experiences with guests in the past, that is no reason to punish future (responsible) guests.

A very cozy family-run hotel. The owner made us feel very welcome after I hiking trip. The continental breakfast was superb.

Lovely host and location, felt like staying in their own home. Great location to walk into town for dinner or groceries and access hiking, or just a walk around the area.
Bathroom and shower were quite small but can't complain for one night.

L'Hotel Le Pas de l'Ours has been a great surprise in our journey. Personnel is very nice and helps you in whatever you ask, about the hotel or hiking tips. The hotel is old but has been completely renovated in a mountain cossy style. You find pictures and old ski gadgets and a lot of real wood, what makes the space charming. The location is perfect, a quiet street close to the center (just walk down the street 1 min and find shops, restaurants, bars and tourist info office) where it is easy to park the car.
The breakfast they offer is very good. A place to come back!

Feeling like you stay in an old country house.
Good to have two showers in room 11/27
The staff is nice.
Close to town Center
You cannot really park nearby if all the spaces in the street are taken.
The breakfast is quite disappointing. We’re in the heart of mountains and they serve plasticky supermarket gruyère and cheap saucisson?? Come on! Make an effort. You need to get some quality local produce. And ham, not saucisson. And honey.
The bread was good though.
