Weekend Lovers

Everything! Was just a fantastic weekend! We normally stay at another place further in town but this place magical with great gardens and an awesome pool.

Great place! But Booking as a platform should handle the pricing better.

Everything about the hotel (place, service, everything really) was great. Exactly what I was expecting. Breakfast was pretty good!, It's like a tiny colorful village so, kudos on that too.

The only thing (and I'm not sure who to complain to) was that right when I was finalizing my reservation a discount appeared on Booking (which I wasn't expecting) and I thought, great! But when I paid, the hotel said it didn't reflect on their account, so there was no discount. Out of respect for others' time and effort, I don't asks for discounts on anyone's labor or business so I don't mind paying the right price (especially after the hotel turned out to be a good place to stay) but also, I don't like being given gifts and seeing them taken away.

Good

The staff were friendly, especially Walter who was very attentive. How peaceful the location was, away from all the noise and partying spots. The hotel is very safe and it locks the beach doorway at night.

The food was insipid. It had no flavour whatsover and we had to use a lot of seasoning and sauces. They only offer two drinks for dinner: iced tea and fizzy drinks. Also, my young daughter fell and scraped her knee. Every hotel should have a first-aid kit, but they didn't have one. They charged us a few cents for antiseptic powder which I thought was petty. A large group of very loud children joined on our last day and kept screaming and diving noisily into the pool. Given that our room was right next to the pool, this interrupted the serenity.

The cleanest and the location of the property was very good. The best thing about this property was the very friendly staff, specially Walter and Miguel, these guys were very kind.

Exceptional

The room we got was in front of the beach, at night you could hear the waves and the sea, great experience. Felix from reception was so nice , he explained all we asked. Breakfast was perfect as well, fresh juice and every day a different thing going to eat. For sure will be back!

The location was pretty far from the city center, but when you go to canoa you come to relax so all was great.
