Huge suite with a pullout bed in the sitting room and separate bedroom. Huge washroom and shower. Patios all around. Very powerful air conditioning. Lots of snacks/drinks provided.
Everything was wonderful. The one thing that wasn’t functioning optimally was the shower head that couldn’t adjust to be moved away from the wall and the handle to turn on the water and adjust hot/cold would not hold and self-shutoff from time to time. Definitely still manageable, but these are just a couple things to be tended to. The location is in the industrial area which means free street parking. We had a car so were able to drive and park near attractions. I can’t comment on how transit works in the area, but with a car, it’s fine.

the property was super clean, very big, everything worked, the bed was comfortable, the shower big and the water was conspicuous, the apartment is very quite, there is a lot of light and beautiful big balconies, the only thing is that is second floor with no elevator but the owner Antonio helped us with the luggage, it was very kind from him. there is parking just in front, an amazing machine for espresso, there was water and milk in the fridge, and Antonio makes amazing pizza! he has been a Pizzaiolo his entire life

I loved the place to the point where i booked an extra day. The rooms are clean and pristine. The owner is a cool and fantastic man. If you’re going to matera, this hotel is the one!

As the accommodation was advertised as an apartment, I was surprised when there was no cooker or kitchen sink - it did have fridge / kettle / coffee machine / milk frother. A large bathroom, & several outdoor terraces.
The pizzeria on the ground floor, was only open laste, but they did provide us with drinks.
We arrived earlier than expected - the accommodation was available to us.
Location - but we knew about that when booking.

The accommodation is beautiful and of a very high standard
Up four flights of stairs with no lift.
No way to self cater and the only food offering is attached to the accommodation and is poor.
You absolutely need to have transport as you are in the middle of an industrial estate a long way from anywhere.

A large and modern apartment in a relatively new building. Very good value for money in Matera. Description was accurate. A nice espresso coffee machine is there, with plenty of ESE pods at your disposal. A fridge with some drinks and a large selection of pre-packaged sweets and pastries are also there, they can complement the breakfast, which was only one fresh croissant filled with something, if I remember well. In the morning, as agreed in advance with the person managing the apartment, the pastry is placed on a little table, just in front of the entry door, you just have to go outside and pick it up. Nice :)
As expected, the surrounding area is poor, but it is not a big deal if you have a car. Albeit all utility end-points were there, the kitchen corner was not built (I believe on purpose). At least a kitchen sink would have been good to have. Neutral note: Please mind it is on the 2nd floor, with no elevator.
