They had good breakfast included
The resort was nice but it could have used many upgrades. The pool was a little dirty and it was cold water. The room had a cracked tile on the floor where you could cut and hurt yourself. The tub clogged up and there was a big air bubble in it so when you showered you rocked from side to side. The floors both inside and outside the room where super extremely slippery when wet. Our party almost slipped a few times. Everytime it rained the outside area of our room with seats and a cover/roof would flood so we weren't able to even sit outdoor or use that space if it was raining. The rooms are located on different levels so be prepared to carry all your luggage down the steps. The staff working there were nice however the management was awful. Our group had a long stay and not once did they interact with us. They never asked us how things were going or even a hello or good morning. However there were other groups of large people who seemed to know management that were not staying at our resort but they would eat breakfast there everyday and use the pool and management was always chatting and catering to them. They were not very hospitable. It also did not have a Guatemala vibe. There was nothing cultural about this place which is sad because when yoi travel to a new country you want to be immersed and learn about the culture, food, music etc. It was more of a modern Europe vibe with house music playing 24/7.

Breakfast was a good spread. Got a dorm, as I wasn't able to find private room while making a last minute booking. Considering it was a dorm, it was decently comfortable, people were quiet and respectful of sleeping time, there were curtains to block out the light. Ok value for money.
The showers didn't have hot water and one was blocked up and overflowing, which didn't feel clean. Outdoor spaces were more picturesque than the rooms themselves.

Great breakfast, great pool and great view.
Grumpy front desk women with zero English.
Poor room facilities, don’t think worth the high price.

Great service throughout our stay. The food in the restaurant was delicious, and great accessibility to other attractions.
It felt a little overpriced and wish they had more private rooms for couples.

The pool bar and the breakfast were amazing so was the staff outside. The view was amazing.
The property needs work. Shower leaks all over the floor, the pillows are terrible and so was the couch in our room. It was very cold and no heat provided, just 2 small blankets. The price was premium but not the accommodation.

The masseuse, Nelita was incredible.
Two notable drawbacks were the absence of air conditioning and the presence of exceptionally firm mattresses, which made for uncomfortable nights. However, it wasn't these issues that drove me to share this review. There was a lack of breakfast options except for bread, cheese, cold cuts, and eggs. Poor handling of lost Item Incident: Two days after my check-out, on September 15th, I realized I had inadvertently left a pair of clothing in my room. I promptly contacted the resort's front desk via WhatsApp around 12:47 PM, seeking professional assistance in retrieving my lost item. Unfortunately, the response I received was far from the level of service one would expect. Rather than offering assistance or reassurance, I was met with a disclaimer stating that the resort was not responsible for any lost items right away. This initial response felt accusatory and dismissive, leaving me feeling undervalued as a customer.

Location.
It’s a bit smaller than a regular resort. Lastly I forgot something at the hotel. A painting (canvas) I purchased in panajachel. I called the resort they never answer. Then I sent them a message through whatapps. Which they answered. But got a bit of a run around at first. I asked them if they can mail it out to me to Guatemala City. They stated they couldn’t. I was willing to pay for the service. I am heading back to the United States. So I guess it a loss for me.

The resort is beautiful. I would highly recommend it for couples or for girlfriends trip. The pool and the hammock area are perfect for relaxation. Staff is very helpful. The guy at the front desk helped me book a private boat when needed for only 200Q.
The top bunk in the dorm room has a beam right above the bed which is easily knocked into. If you’re taller than 5 ft you can’t really sit up in your bed.

the Resort is beautiful, but is not wow, the breakfast was good
the internet was inexistent, we had to work and was impossible, the neighbor wifi was faster, the room was not clean, the towel had hair, the towels leave everything fluffy in you and in your clothes cheap towels, the pillos ARE DISGUSTING are all over stained and is gross, the bed was not comfy it is a resort but the room was terrible, you have a fridge but actually is not usable because is full of thing for you to buy, the resort is ok, but there are a looooot of visitors because is not that exclusive, you can save a lot staying at other property and go for a lunch to this place. food is not so good

Spacious rooms and comfy bed, good location not far from Main Street. Pleasant hotel.
The hotel allows day passes which means the pool gets very busy on some days which is unpleasant and means paying guests do not get a seat/deck chair. There are not enough deck chairs by the pool as it is already. The pool was very dirty lots of leaves, hair and dirt in it. To have your room cleaned you have to give your key in at a certain time which is annoying and inconvenient when doing day trips - rooms should be cleaned regardless. The bathroom in the room was basic and shower was very poor with terrible pressure. The door to our room was very flimsy and we felt unsafe when it was locked as there was a crack in it. Poolside rooms have nets at the top (not full windows) so they are very noisy and you get woken up by staff shouting around pool area at 7am.
Area in front of the hotel on the lake is also quite gross and dirty. Expensive for the quality of the hotel overall.

The complementary breakfast had a nice spread and the resort is situated in a beautiful location right on the lake.
My poolside unit was incredibly loud at all times of the day. The big windows blocked no sound and my room was directly right next to the pool bathrooms (with people coming in and out all day, starting with cleaning people at 6:30am) and to the restaurant that was blasting music all day (plus, there is a nightclub next door). I can handle noise because I live in New York City but this stay was not relaxing in the slightest. It felt like they cared more about being a fun pool bar than catering to their guests. I wish I had just stayed in a hostel rather than splurging for this so-called "resort".
Also the shower was terrible (there was no water pressure and a weird bubble underneath the tub material) and I did not enjoy finding a spider in my bed one morning.

Too much noise near the pool

The resort itself is very aesthetically pleasing and the pool is a bonus. The breakfast is amazing, and really makes what you pay feel a little more worth it. the staff were super helpful and friendly.
I stayed in a dorm, and there was constantly water on the floor, the toilets smelt and I had to beg to get curtains put on my bed (the employees were lovely and measured a new set of curtains for me). Climbing to the top bed is near impossible as the ladders have no railings - i think aesthetics were more important than use! there were lots of things i couldnt put my finger on - it felt like it should be lovely, but something about the hotel felt off.

Nice outdoor pool area with lots of facilities to relax (unfortubaley most of them in the sun). Amazing breakfast buffet and free water. Also offered a variety of tours, eg Indian Nose tour was well organized and nice and morning yoga.
Good located close to the ferry (~8mins walk).
Stayed there at a weekend and it was quite loud outside due to the bars in the village / at the mountains - nothing the hotel could influence...

Rooms were clean, with large bed.
Definitely do not recommend staying at this resort. Had loud techno music playing from 12pm-12am, when inquired about quiet hours stated “10pm”. Unfortunately when they turned off the music there was still loud music from neighbours which made it difficult to sleep. Had the expectation that this was a secluded luxury resort for paying guests, seemed to be +++ people with day passes who were obnoxious, often piling their stuff in front of our villa so we couldn’t access the outdoor seating. Due to this not being 18+, there was many rambunctious children in the area splashing and causing noise disruption, when asked staff to address this, no resolution. There was also individuals at the pool with a day pass that were obviously heavily intoxicated, and walking around in their underwear. Was told cash only when paying, yet when arrived a local ahead of us payed with card. Asked about paying with card for our reservation and they said no. Referenced the other guest using a card, staff then reluctantly allowed us to pay with card. Food did not meet our expectations, and we both became very sick within 24 hours of arriving. Overall found our stay to be very disappointing. I believe this was more of a local party hostel than a resort as advertised.
