Amazing food, great peaceful location. Yoga was great too! Everyone really friendly. Thank you.
Getting there from the main part of town was intense and confusing. The online instructions don’t warn of the traffic that elongates the trip by 2 hours (literally bumper to bumper due to the nearby rafting tours). And our taxi driver got lost on the way as the turn off is really hard to find. Also you’ll need to ring security to come get you from the bottom of the very steep drive way as most cars won’t make it up.
But the stay itself was wonderful just be prepared to not want to leave to go back to town at all because it’s so much effort and the place so nice! If I did my time again, I’d book a week in rishikesh first and then a week at Veda 5 so you get to see both.

Absolutely stunning location! Yoga and meditation classes were great, treatments were wonderful, food was incredible, and the staff were all super friendly and helpful.
Just the weather-but there’s nothing they can do about that!

it was too far away from the center . It makes sense if you are taking the wellness package .. I wanted to get ayurvedic treatment done , but they didn’t have slots for two days as they were booked with other customers who had treatment packages

The staff was extremely kind and helpful, and the food at the hotel was fantastic! Although the place is not at walking distance from the town, it is perfect to take some time out, and rest with the incredible view of the mountains.

Organised meditation and yoga sessions included within room rates. Food was good.
Although food was tasty, it is very carb heavy, some effort could be made to include some tofu and additional paneer options.

Yoga teacher Narayan, location is stunning, delicious food, wonderful staff (esp Devendra,
Madan, Rabindra and Balrand in the restaurant) , really good treatments, Surendra’s music.
Attention to detail was a bit lacking - eg , while the room was cleaned everyday, the cleaner didn’t really get into the corners of the bathroom so it was a bit mucky.
It would have been nice to have some info about local hikes and walks

Location was nice and relaxing. Food was excellent with all healthy choices made with pure ingredients all natural. During dinner we met chef Devendra Singh in Annam (dinning area) and he has done a wonderful job with all delicious yet healthy choices in breakfast, lunch and dinner menu. Desserts were also differently made from healthy foods like dates-coconut ladoo and it tastes awesome.

The staff is very friendly. The scenery is fantastic, reception is the nicest place of the resort, the food is good.
The Yoga class in the weekend was to overcrowded and not a peaceful experience. The entry should be restricted once the capacity of the room has reached its limits. the maintenance of the rooms needs to be improved

The overall food at Veda5 was fantastic. Pure Vegetarian. It was slightly hard to believe that all preparations were done without onion garlic as the taste was out of this world. All the staff at the restaurant as well their Chef Mr.Ashok were very courteous and tried their best to make us comfortable. Even the Yoga experience with Madhavi ji and Narayan Ji was very relaxing and rejuvenating. The staff at the Spa too, especially Divya were very humble and the spa sessions too were truly blissful.
There's nothing I didn't like. Everything was just amazing.

Outstanding location and exceptional place! We went with my wife, who is from Norway, and my parents and were blown away both by the hospitality and comfort provided by the entire staff- from groundskeeper, to housekeeping , reception, massage therapists all of them exceeded our expectations. There was excellent communication from the resort regarding how to find the resort- they provided us clear maps and directions and informed us where the resort driver would come to meet us- this is recommended as the resort is up a very steep incline that can be very challenging for those not used to driving on such narrow and steep inclines.
And all of them truly espouse and imbibe Ayurvedic principles of living- polite, soft spoken, very helpful. Special words need to be reserved for the chefs and the menu team- exceptional is barely describing their skill and that also pure sattvik food! There is a lot to learn from them!
During the stay we also went for Ayurvedic treatments like Abhyanga (wife), Sirodhara and a version of Abhyanga with a focus on head, neck and foot(me). All exceeded our expectations and we were left with a deep sense of peace and relaxation that truly came from their expertise - Naveen for Sirodhara and Ashish Bhatt for head, neck and foot massage as well as the female masseur (forgetting her name, but know if you are reading this my wife loved it)
Additionally, the resort provides complementary yoga classes led by expert teachers at various times of the day. We were fortunate enough to experience both a yoga class and meditation class by Madhvi who is incredibly skilled at both teaching and demonstrating yoga and meditation.
The resort also has a well-maintained pool with a special beverage menu for the pool only- highly recommend the caramel frapuccino! Otherwise there is plenty of space to walk around- the resort is hilly so if one is not experienced or aged, one can also request to be driven up to the rooms.
Seeing my elderly parents, perhaps they could have enquired if they would like to be driven up to the rooms. On the first day, my father struggled to climb to the room. So the solution was to switch rooms - me and my wife took the room high up the stairs while my parents took the room on the lower level.

amazing buffet food; beautiful, quiet spot in the mountains; yoga and activities throughout day; helpful and welcoming staff.
location is quite a distance from rishikesh. hard to get taxis to come and take you anywhere. just be prepared to stay at resort the whole time.

The staff is exceptional good. Location is little secluded. Food is good if you are vegetarian. Room service is from 9am to 11 pm .

The food was very good and massage was excellent. It is a quiet and serene place surrounded by green mountains. The entertainment night was very nice..the talented singers, the ambience and superb food ...all made for a magical evening.
For While it is admirable that they have tried to keep the natural contours and landscape of the mountain, it also translates into lot of uphill and steep walks to go from one part of resort to another. The reception area, the dining hall, the meditation room, the yoga room...all the facilities are in separate buildings at different levels and going from one place to another is an effort. Though it was doable for us, I would not recommend this place for elderly guests.
The entertainment hall could do with a bit of cleaning up. It seemed unused with storage boxes lying in corners.
The staff is helpful and professional, however they missed the opportunity to make it memorable for us since it was my wife's birthday and I had booked a cake for her but no one bothered to even wish her.

Incredible oasis in India. I found peace here. the staff is awesome, the place is really magical. Stayed initially 2 days, extended 2 more. extended an extra one.
After hard personal months I found a great place to relax, practiced yoga and meditation for first time. Massages are great and cheap. I loved this place
