Relax with the whole family at this peaceful villa located at Shipwatch Villas on the grounds of Omni Amelia Island Resort Our spacious 2nd/3rd floor condo is decorated and flows just like a home ~ to ensure that you feel comfortable during your vacation, and at the same time get that ‘I’m-in-a- luxurious-resort’ feeling! The views from the balcony are truly breath taking with expansive scenery of the ocean and beaches. I am confident that you will love our villa.
Our condo is located within the beautiful setting of the Omni Amelia Island Resort. We have 2 bedrooms plus 2.5 baths and sleep 6 people comfortably. Our resort is an exclusive resort like no other, with over three miles of uncrowded beaches and countless waterways to discover. Quietly nestled among a great forest of live oaks, you’ll love exploring the numerous walking and bike paths. The Omni Resort offers a variety of shopping and restaurants within walking distance of our condo, and there’s even a miniature golf option set among the majestic live oaks. If you’re a nature lover, you’ll find an amazing variety of birds, turtles, crabs and even an occasional manatee sighting all in their natural habitat. Truly, an amazing location!
Shipwatch 1323 has been fully renovated and truly a dream villa to vacation in. Our condo views from the balcony are breath taking~filled with amazing ocean views from the living room, the dining area, and the kitchen. The condo also overlooks the villa’s pool (seasonally heated) and relaxation area and green space. Both bedrooms have plantation shutters. The kitchen, eating area, and family room areas and bathrooms, even floors have all been FULLY renovated. We have T.V.'s in each bedroom and the living room. Our condo includes comfortable towels and our sheets are high quality, so you will rest easy! The kitchen is fully stocked with any of your cooking needs and is equipped with a Keurig single cup coffee maker, a normal drip coffee pot, stove/oven, microwave, dishwasher and refrigerator. We also provide a pack-n-play (please bring your own sheet) and infant booster seat.
The family room, kitchen, dining area, half bath and balcony are located on the 3rd floor of the building. Both bedrooms are located downstairs on the 2nd floor with the laundry room and beach storage closet. The bedrooms and hallways have just be updated with new Luxury Vinyl Plank Flooring and our bathrooms have been fully renovated as well.
Please be aware that our villa does have a staircase inside the unit. As well as an exterior staircases. Our complex does have an elevator but, when exiting the elevator, there are still about 5-7 stairs/steps to get to the actual floor where our condo door is located. We are not a handicap accessible complex.
We try our best to keep beach chairs & umbrellas, small beach toys and other ‘beachy/pooly’ fun items in our condo’s storage closet for you to enjoy!

Golf is available at many courses in Amelia Area, including Oak Marsh located on the grounds of the Omni resort. Bike and golf cart rentals are also available on a first come first serve basis. This property is NOT a rental through Omni Amelia Island Resort and does not give you access to "resort privileges or amenities" like the main hotel pool and fitness center, and Racquet Park is only open to club members and their guests. While you’re free to take advantage of the on-site Omni public amenities throughout the Omni Resort, their hotel pool, tennis courts and fitness center is not included with this rental (Shipwatch has their own private pool).
Shipwatch Villas layout achieves any/all social-distancing practices that you desire. The condo’s front door entrances are located in an outdoor / open-air hallway. There are elevators, but there are also open-air stairwells that provide access to all floors, as well. There is no indoor closed-entrance or common area to be concerned with in light of Covid-19. Since we are a private resort, our beaches are NEVER crowded. Cleanliness (as well as elegance and comfortability) remain our top priorities for your vacation in our condo. We are following ALL CDC guidelines, as well as Nassau County's protocol for cleanings.

My family and I had another great stay in Shipwatch hosted by Michelle. We had previously stayed at another one of her properties in Shipwatch and this one was just as wonderful. We especially enjoyed the pool and the large balcony. Highly recommend staying at any of Michelle's properties.

A special fully stocked condo right on the beach with a great pool…close to everything! Let the relaxing begin! A special shout out for the impressively outfitted beach supplies closet…chairs, boogie boards, sand toys…even flip flops! Our family enjoyed it all!

Had great time with another couple and condo nice layout for time together. Having the 2 floors worked great. Condo very nicely equipped with everything needed in kitchen, baths and living space. Feels as if recently renovated. Nice porch to hangout in the evening. Pretty view.

Our stay was wonderful. Michelle was responded promptly to an item. The unit was clean, comfortable and very well stocked. The view from the unit was lovely. Location was great! Beach was wonderful.

we went to Amelia Island for my wife's 50th bday and met my wife's sister and our brother-in law. We flew in from Virginia and Pittsburgh respectively so we tried our best to time when our flights arrived a roughly same time AND tried to get as close to "check-in" as possible.
Well, we had to arrive at 10AM and the 45min drive from airport got us AND ALL OUR LUGGAGE there around 11AM... It was our first time there so we had no idea where anything was. When I contacted prop manager, she said check-in isnt until 4PM.
I told her I was aware of that but we were at the mercy of the airline schedule. It wasn't as if we DROVE from Pittsburgh, PA or Virginia. All I asked was: Is there anywhere to put our things so we could Uber into town or go to resort or go to pool and sit...
She said: No.
So we walked down the road DRAGGING ALL OUR LUGGAGE until a laundry cart drove by and told us that the main resort was up the road about a mile.
Needless to say, we walked and eventually a nice man and his wife licked us up on a golf cart and drove my wife and her sister to the Omni resort while my brother in law and I walked. THe resort was kind enough to allow us to store the luggage there as they allowed us to sit by the pool and at bar while we waited for unit to be available.
SO, if you go to this place, either be really accurate with your arrival OR just have your taxi/uber take you directly to Omni resort and tip them to hold your things.

I attended an orthopedic conference at the Ritz. I brought my family and wanted a family-friendly layout. My choice didn't disappoint. It was easy to relax in a clean, well-appointed, and cared-for unit. A great view of the dunes and ocean, easy access to the beach and pool. Great performing A/C, too. Michelle was fantastic with communication about getting in the unit and we never needed her after checking in.

I was very impressed with not only the cleanliness of the villa, but how well it was stocked. There were so many little touches that made our stay easier, such as ziplock bags and oils and spices in the kitchen, to games for the kids, and even beach gear and flip flops. We were not expecting to have access to these items, so we had a fully packed car with beach umbrellas, beach chairs, and towels and toys. When we arrived we realized that we did not need to bring half of the items that we packed. We plan to return to Amelia Island later this year and will definitely rent from this property manager again because it will make our trip so much easier with the lovely amenities that are provided. Because we have a small child we prefer to cook than dine out, we were pleased to find the kitchen well stocked. I chose this villa based on the 5 star rating for cleanliness and was not disappointed. Michelle ( the property manager) was lovely throughout the process and went above and beyond to be sure that our stay was as pleasant as possible. We will definitely be staying at one of her properties in the future.

This condo in Shipwatch is fabulous! The decor is lovely, it is well-stocked with all that you need for a week at the beach (including nice chairs and boogie boards), and the layout is perfect for a family. And we loved the views from the balcony! We also loved the location of Shipwatch on the Omni property with so many amenities close by (shops, restaurants, mini golf). And the Shipwatch property is lovely - the pool is fantastic and very clean, the grounds are beautifully maintained, and parking was plentiful. We absolutely loved staying in this condo and will definitely book it again when we return to Amelia Island!

This was our second summer staying here. It was very clean and well maintained. The beach closet and laundry room are well stocked with beach chairs, toys and towels. We love being able to walk to the beach and it's never crowded. Amazing place!

A few things kept our group from giving the property and experience five stars. It's a spacious property with a beautiful view and close to the ocean. Lovely kitchen! First, parking is almost impossible. There are not enough spaces for the number of guests, so we (and many others) often had to park several hundred yards away in the street. We had to do the "parking spot lottery" for all three days. The main room and kitchen floor (were beautiful but not clean. The ladies in our party had black feet after an hour or two of going barefoot. One of the guest room mattresses is very tired and needs replacing. These are all easily fixable issues.

I will definitely be coming back to stay here! Amelia Island was surprisingly not crowded during spring break week, and we truly enjoyed the privacy. The condo was clean, well-stocked, and had beautiful views. I could really tell that the owners wanted the stay to be comfortable for us by providing everything we needed- towels, chairs, toiletries, and even a few snacks. Loved our time here!

Home very clean. Very nice pool. Not crowded. One drawback …did not realize you have to walk up stairs or take elevator and then walk down the stairs to get into either level. Not great when carrying suitcases and groceries.

We absolutely loved this condominium-everything about it! Beautifully remodelled, an excellent location on the beach in the lovely Omni resort. So well-appointed we had everything we could need! Michelle is absolute fantastic to work with. Such an excellent communicator. She always answered immediately & helped with any issues which were minimal. We loved it so much we are renting the same condo next February!!!!
