The staff were brilliant, polite and friendly.
The entertainment was terrible. Would be suited better for older people, not suitable for families with young children.
4.0
The pool
The rooms are poorly furnished with old furniture.
The mattresses are awful

A lot of entertainment for kids and even with teens kids great day spend with the slide in the pool 👍🏻
And the beach and restaurant just 10min walk and with a mercadona just walking distance.
Reception staff really nice and helpful people.
Nothing everything’s perfect.
4.5
I did unfortunately not spend much time a the hotel itself but the facilities I used were according to the expectations. That being said the hotel is geared more towards the general holiday maker possibly going with family.

family orientated. friendly staff. rooms in good condition. good gym facilities.
location of pool. sun hid behind building in the afternoon. pool area a bit too crowded.

The staff (especially in the restaurant) were lovely. The pool was a great temperature and plenty of sunloungers to go around. Drinks were a fair price (5€ for a great cocktail). The rooms are basic in terms of facilties but very comfortable and very clean.
A 5 minute walk takes you to the beach.
No tea/coffee facilites in the room. Deposit in cash for pool towels.

It was good to have a balcony to sit outside. Loved the fridge in the room. Able to watch BBC News. Excellent shower with lots of hot water. Comfortable beds. Bacon at breakfast was delicious.
Excellent choice at breakfast but for the hot selection the plates, baked beans and sausages were cold.
4.8
Friendly, clean & comfortable. Very good value for money.

Great heated pool and plenty sun beds although this might not be the case in peak season?
The English breakfast was cold and had to be reheated in the microwave

Location was excellent, very close to the beach and restaurants etc.
Very efficient and friendly staff.
Very clean.
Adequate entertainment.
The design of the bathroom is very poor and hazardous.

An accessible location, perfect for the end of my long business trip. Lovely heated outdoor pool, steam room, good gym and solarium. Flexible dining facilities, restaurant or cafe, large balcony with view, great housekeeping service. This is a legitimate 4* hotel run by a competent management team who know what a decent hotel is all about.
Jacuzzi/ hot tub a real problem, for us hot tub means hot, after a swim not barely luke warm, seems very inconsistent temperature levels across Spanish hotels when it comes to jacuzzis. We feel the temperature for the hot tub at the hotel was not warm enough. The heated pool was warmer and we could therefore not stay in the jacuzzi longer than 5 minutes whereas for the heated pool our team stayed and swam comfortably non stop for over 30 minutes!

Nice breakfast with fresh fruits. Dinner buffet has various choices. Location of hotel is good in relation to the beach and old town.
We travelled in the off-season so hotel was a bit too quiet

Breakfast will suit all comers, service very good and the bar prices were excellent. Jacuzzi and pool spot on

From the laundry all the steam came up to the balcony. It was almost impossible to stay on the balcony because it was hard to breath.
2.5
Parking. Bookable in advance. Not expensive. It would have been almost impossible to park anywhere else, street parking- not a chance !
Very difficult to find. For a four star hotel, the quality and variety of food was poor. "fried eggs" at breakfast were almost raw. Meat (steak ?) was very tough and inedible. Wine list pathetic ! No actual vineyard mentioned, Just "red, white, rose, and Rioja, ribera etc. To me that is a cafe wine list.
4.5
The staff, the activities for kids, the pool and slides and the bar were all great. All the attention for kids was really superb, our 5-year old loved it.
Our room and all around the hotel was very clean. The breakfast buffet is good and very well organised.
There isn't really a proper car park and the parking situation is a bit chaotic. However, there were plenty of spaces nearby.
The location is good, although it's not beachside and the walk to the beach isn't the nicest route.
We had the evening buffet one dinnertime and we didn't think it was very good although others seemed to like it. There was certainly a lot of choice.

We booked the place based on the pictures of swimming pool and the slides and the kids absolutely loved it. The lunch was nice in the buffet style restaurant with various options available although very pricy (€80 for 2 adults and 2 kids 5 and 8).
The bedroom didn’t feel like a 4* with worn out and damaged furniture (wobbly bedside locker, veneer broken, water damaged luggage stand). The bed was comfy but the ugly plasticky covers and cushions ruined the experience as well as air conditioning that didn’t work at all (34’ C outside, very close to that inside). I’m not sure if that explains large windows wide opened on a fourth floor by the lift unprotected exposing a risk of falling… The pool area also lacks some tlc with tiles missing and cavity blocks by jacuzzi half uncovered. Previous guest’s belonging left in the wardrobe.
2.5
The pool slide for kids was the main reason we picked this hotel although it closes for part of the day and is in the shade early afternoon and looks larger than what it actually is!
The rooms are very dated, basic and uncomfortable with little to no space or facilities, the parking for this hotel is also very poor and you end up having to park out on main street ‘if you can find a space’

We are a family with kids and I loved the positive atmosphere, the care that staff took for us to feel comfortable and safe.
The pool and slides were great, we all enjoyed the time! :)
Dining is very good, plenty of choice for every meal!
It’s difficult to park the car anywhere close.
Location is not great if you want to visit the town as well.
Felt a little outdated, especially for a 4* hotel and the price paid.

Nothing
When I booked my stay I've specifically asked for a quitet room
I arrived at victoria playa Hotel quite late in the evening .. I was so exhausted and needed to sleep... I noticed that there was a children's party in the garden which was so so noisy. I didn't feel welcomed by the staff and I was shocked to discover that I was given a very noisy room overlooking the garden where the children party was happening.
I went down to ask for a different room but the reception staff seened very stressed out and didn't like my request although I explained that my request was conditional on the original booking but after some discussion they gave me another room which wasn't good at all but less noisy. The children party was on tll after midnight.
The room was very basic and the beddings were horrible, rough, stinky and smells so bad and the bed was extremely uncomfortable and I couldn't sleep all night.
I asked for an adapter to charge my phone and they couldn't give me one and my phone died.
The breakfast was so basic and looked not fresh at all I couldn't eat it. I had to buy the water bottle.
The hotel wasn't clean at all and children were running everywhere and was extremely noisy and hectic. I didn't feel relaxed at all.
I'm shocked that this is a 4 star hotel and I couldn't wait till the morning so I can run away from the terrible experience I had there.
I really would like a total refund of the cost I paid for my stay.
4.5
The friendly staff and child centered activities.
The experience was without any negatives
