Exceptional! Franco and his family were more than accommodating, picking us up from the bus up to Anacapri on arrival and also dropping us back to Anacapri when we left! The accommodation itself is beautifully situated on top of a hill with a majestic view out to the Gulf of Naples and ensconced in flowers and roses. We had Franco's special ravioli for lunch on the terrace which was one of our favourite pastas in Italy. Could not recommend higher, we will be back next time we come to Capri!
Nothing.

Amazing view, made to feel very welcome. Breakfast on the Terrace was lovely and catered for the fact that we are vegan. Would highly recommend. We love walking so no issues for us. Local shop not too far away and a 20 or so minute walk to the centre with restaurants and shops. We chose to stay and soak up the view and sunset one evening as so peaceful. What is not to love
We could have stayed longer.

We loved staying here! The Location was perfect with an amazing view. The family who run the accommodation were super helpful, everything from collecting us from the local bus stop to helping organise tours/tickets and serving a home cooked lunch when we arrived was perfect. Breakfast was lovely, especially on the terrace with the view! We would definitely stay again!
Nothing, all was perfect.

super friendly and helpful owners family; beautiful garden; lovely breakfast on the terrace with a view!

The greenery, the terrace, the owners were amazing! The breakfast was better than the buffets we'd had so far. The quietness and the birds around were so relaxing.
My partner has asthma, since the room was damp she had to use her inhaler a few times, and everything seemed a little bit wet. The bathroom lacked ventilation so there was mold on the walls.
It just needs a fixer upper.

Beautiful family run accomodation. Quiet, nice views and a homely garden.
Breakfast overlooking the ocean was pretty special! We avoided the town centre of Capri, and instead just hiked all over the island and mostly ate in Anacapri- the restaurants were all walking distance. Short bus ride to a local swimming spot Faro. 3 nights here felt pretty blissful.
The accomodation is slightly dated (older beds, bathroom could do with an upgrade) but that's also part of the charm of the place.

Absolutely fantastic!!! In a quiet neighbourhood, with fantastic views!! Breakfast was amazing and we even got a birthday surprise- bottle of Prosecco with it- that was sooo nice!! An absolute gem !! I would highly recommend it!!!

The views, gardens, hospitality, and the rooms were all wonderful. Make sure you get the raviolis - they were some of the best we had in Italy. Wish we had stayed longer than two nights.

Breakfast was great and the entire staff seemed very focused on making our stay as enjoyable as possible. On our departure day - they insisted on us having breakfast even though it was before they normally serve breakfast. View from the property was great. Room itself was also very nice.
The only thing that really bothered us and this was an issue across all of Capri was the mosquitos. There were times we wanted to sit outside and enjoy everything but the mosquitos wouldn't allow that. We ran into people in Capri that were having their own issues with them - so it was not limited to this property but still impacted things for us. The owner tried to help the issue with some things to make them go away - but that had limited effectiveness.

This is a family-owned place where every care is taken for you to feel welcome and comfortable. Breakfast on the terrace is great. Everyone is kind. Upon arrival, I was picked up at the bus stop in Anacapri (which was a nice surprise). I would definitely stay in this hotel again.
My room was immediately below the varanda where breakfast and meals are served. If you get this room, you will have a really big room, lots of privacy and nice garden with sea view, however expect noise from people walking, taking, and dragging chairs above you.

The place is such a gem - absolutely stunningly beautiful, a quiet & peaceful haven after a busy day exploring the beautiful island. 10-15 minutes walk from Anacapri centre/Piazza Vittoria. The rooms are lovely and well equipped, and there's also a small pool in the garden that guests can use. The garden is amazing, cared with love. Franco and his family truly make their guest feel special and welcomed. Always willing to help and giving great tips and recommendations for guests. It felt as if you came to visit your old friends.
Breakfast was delicious (fresh croissants and pastries, yoghurt, fresh fruit from the garden, juice, coffee/tea) and it was plenty! Enjoying the breakfast out in the terrace looking at the sea - such a lovely way to start a day.
Highly recommend this place. Staying there was one of the highlights of my trip. Most hotels don't deliver this lovely and personal experience. Can't wait to be back!

The rooms were beautifully furnished, lots of space and well thought out. The grounds of the guest house were pretty and the owners are very warm and welcoming. They helped us out with any request and gave great advice. The breakfast was fresh produce from the local bakery and from the hotels own garden. The location is also convenient with just a 10 minute walk to the shops and the main town in Anacapri, with access to the bus and taxi services. Overall, a beautiful stay and would definitely recommend!

Lovely family, super helpful and friendly. It's a great location to explore Anacapri with beautiful gardens and a very peaceful place.
It was a shame that the pool was run down, a little dirty and not looked after so we couldn't use it.

everything was wonderful regarding our stay at Il Giardino dell’Arte: the property, the staff, the wonderful family and their tradition, the views, the gardens, the food (we had a wonderful sunset dinner on one of their terraces with home cooked ravioli)! Aurelia offered us great tips on where to eat, what to see, she picked us up, made reservations for us for dinner at Emilia’s and for taxis, overall we felt wonderful here and very welcomed!

Raffaella the owner is very welcoming and provides excellent advice. the view from the terrasse where you will have your breakfast is ready breathtaking, overlooking Napoli bay. She also takes great care of the garden with flowers, fruit trees etc. Lovely place for sure.

Rafaella and her family were extremely welcoming, collecting us from the Piazza and phoning restaurants and boats etc on our behalf. Breakfast and lunch were delicious. The view from our room was spectacular and the terrace was an amazing place to relax. This is easily one of my favourite guesthouses I have ever stayed in!

EVERYTHING!!! Such a beautiful, homey place. I would recommend it 1000 times. I will definitely go back another time and stay there. Staying in Anacapri is a much better experience than in Capri, and staying at Il Giardino was the best choice.

Our stay was incredible, the location is extremely close to the city center, but most importantly it is absolutely breathtaking. The room was sparkling clean, had everything we needed, very cozy and beautifuly decorated. The view is spectacular, and the garden and patio are magical. Also, the hosts were one of the kindest and loveliest people we ever got the chance to meet. They arranged for us a private boat tour, cared for our needs 24/7 and even waited for us and took us by car at the location considering our flight got delayed and we arrived pretty late in the evening. They kept in touch with us at all time, giving us guidance. Breakfast was another highlight of our trip, the designated breakfast area was superb and also the food was excellent and so many varieties to choose from. Their recommendations were spot on and i cannot underline enough their care and kindness. Would totally recommend to stay at this place, we will for sure come back, it felt like leaving home when we had to get back.

Fantastic views from the terrace, a great place to sit for the delicious breakfast or to drink a bottle of wine at night. Staff is extremely personable, very attentive, and make you feel like family. Less than 15 minute walk to central Anacapri. Highly recommend as your stay in Anacapri!

The property had a very Mediterranean vibe, the location was good, breakfast was fantastic and very generous, fresh fruit was given to us from the garden. The owner was super nice.
The property needs more upkeep, especially the garden. Rooms need to be cleaner, we had to ask for more soap and water to drink. There needs to be more availability at the reception area. The maintenance of the garden needs to be done on specific days and in a decent way, as we found a water pipe in front of our room, and people working in the garden, carrying sacks of soil in front of our room too.

Break fast was good, place was clean, Franco and his daughters were really nice, I stayed in Italy two weeks and this was me and my wife’s favorite part !

The staff was so kind and accommodating. The owner speaks five languages and goes out of his way to take you places or to arrange things for you. The hotel is quiet and calm. They have one dish you can order, a traditional ravioli and it was the best food we had in Capri. So fresh. We stayed at a lot of places in Italy and this was the only hotel so far that gave us fresh fruit and juice as well as really fantastic pastries and coffee for breakfast. It felt like home. My young son was sad when we left.
