Interesting buildings, and undercover spaces, great restaurant, lovely gardens and pool, just a fabulous environment.

This is a most interesting historic house and was very comfortable. The breakfast and assistance with local information and attractions were excellent.
We found that the window furnishings lacked privacy but this did not detract from our enjoyment of the establishment.

The building is a lovely old house and delightfully quirky.
Breakfasts were a pleasant surprise

Breakfast was amazing and staff were so friendly and helpful. We met some lovely people every morning that were staying there. Great facilities and so much history to the building. Lovely swimming pool on site as well. We stayed in the older part of the building which was really lovely. Small rooms but we made it work. Comfy beds and lovely surroundings on the property

The location to town beach. Easy access to local bus. Renaldo was an excellent host with heaps of good knowledge of where to go and see. He also cooked a brilliant breakfast feast each day. Really nice garden setting and pool for quick dips! Room quite spacious with nice seating out front. (we had a Garden Unit). Pillows were very comfortable. All facilities were good and Renaldo was quick to remedy any concerns we may have encountered.
With back wall louvered windows were brilliant to allow for great ventilation but the chatter from the neighbouring house (went on to after 2:30am one night) and the occasional dog barks when their visitors arrived there was a bit off-putting when we getting used to the room but the overall sleeping experience was just great once you drift off into blissful sleep.

Wow!!
We cant recommend this magnificent place enough.
Marilyn and Ronaldo were the perfect hosts, and couldn’t do enough for you . Llewellyn , the gorgeous corgi was a pleasure and delight to keep us company.
The breakfast was absolutely delicious…
Such an authentic oasis right in the heart of Broone.
We can’t wait to come back , we highly recommend Pinctada Mcalpiine House to anyone that wants a peaceful, quiet and relaxing holiday that represents the traditional Broome experience.
Absolutely nothing!!!

Ronaldo the Manager/receptionist/Breakfasr Cook/ Housemaid/Cleaner/Maintenance Man/ and only staff member was exceptionally helpful and knowledgeable about Broome and points of interest. He could not have been more helpful. Staying in typical Broome architecture was interesting. On a rating we'd give Ronaldo 10/10 !
The accomodation was overpriced and lacked any of the amenities expected for quality accomodation such as comfortable chairs in the room, bath robes, a comfortable lounge area in which to relax, umbrellas around the pool for shade. In addition, the upkeep was poor with gardens untended, rubbish skip in the parking area, rotting timbers on the gates/ gate posts and verandahs and gazebos stacked with old furniture. The linen was substandard with one sheet having holes in it. The bathroom had't been upgraded in 40 years and the 40 year old wooden toilet seat was cracked. Being in suburbia was OK as it wasn't far into town and was only 10 minutes from Cable Beach. A hire car was a necessity. Money needs to be spent to bring the resort up to standard.

Breakfast was enjoyable with attentive service from the owner/manager. Interesting range of people staying led to good breakfast conversations. Something of an oasis on the "tough-ish" streets of "old Broome", nicely laid out and set up property.
Nothing to complain about. In style, probably more suited to the mature age set, not the young party set, but that should be obvious from the property description.

Everything! Last minute booking and what a treat! Will most definitely return. Need to stay longer than one night though
Little pricey even for Broome, but worth every
penny.

The team were very welcoming to us, we enjoyed our visit. The check in was very smooth and first impressions were amazing, the old Broome feel was felt straight away. Our location was close enough to walk to amenities but far away to be clear of the noise.
Breakfast was beautiful with a continental spread along with a cooked version, (not on the menu).
The ideal location lends itself to relax and due to the smaller number of rooms and no children it was wonderful.
Thank you to all the team for giving us this weekender away.
We are not that concerned with the minor things but all the basics are provided and nothing is too much trouble to ask for.

Rinaldo was excellent! Can't say how much he made the experience. We couldn't have breakfast for 2 out of 3 mornings so he prepared us some yoghurt and cereal cups to have earlier.
The room had limited lighting which was OK except when searching through your bags for something specific.
