About this house rental
Welcome to our beautifully furnished, colonial-style townhome just minutes from MARC station with great proximity to DC, Baltimore, Annapolis, Historic Ellicott City--truly central to unlimited historical sites, restaurants, shopping and more!
Should we enjoy a movie, relax on a hammock in the screened-in outdoor space or go sightseeing? That’s the question! Located just 15 mins from BWI and within 5 mins from highway, MARC (w/ trains leaving regularly to DC & Balt), Ft. Meade and walking trails.
The Space:
The front door opens into a light-soaked living area with high ceilings and bay windows. Living room has plenty of seating and, if you are unable to leave work behind, a carefully restored antique desk provides a great work space.
Spacious kitchen/dining area has room for 10 at a table a large, granite island. Kitchen door opens into a furnished, screened-in outdoor space with a hammock chair and nostalgic, string lighting--the area is a perfect place for catching up on emails or visiting with loved ones. The first level of the home also has a half bath and a laundry room (stocked with detergent). If you need a microwave, there is one on top of the dryer (across from the pantry).
There are no TVs in the bedrooms, but you can head downstairs to unwind in front of a beautifully framed 70” HD TV with 5.1 surround sound (fireplace is for decorative purposes only). There is room for everyone on the large and very comfortable sectional, and the upholstered, storage ottoman provides much-needed rest for tired feet after a day of sightseeing (open it up for additional cozy blankets).
The upper floor has three thoughtfully decorated bedrooms and two full baths. The primary suite features vaulted ceilings, a walk-in closet, a comfortable king-sized bed (with down comforter and pillows) and a bathroom with a marble-topped, double-sink vanity, a large soaking tub, a newly tiled shower and soft bath towels. An additional room in basement will only be prepared and made available for bookings with 8-9 guests including kids (more info below).
The colonial-style townhome is located on a quite cul de sac only minutes from a MARC station (Uber and Lift are readily accessible, if needed). There is a large side yard with a swing and more-than-enough parking (in driveway/on street). Neighborhood playground is walking distance and incredible walking trails are just a short drive away.
Home sleeps 6, but it can sleep 3 more if they are included on the booking. If 8 or 9 guests are included on the booking (including kids), an additional room in the basement (with 2 twin beds) will be prepared/made available. If you have less guests, but prefer the extra space—please reach out and we can make it available for an additional fee. The room doesn’t have a window (though there is one nearby in main basement area). Keep in mind that nearest half bath is on the main floor (up a set of stairs) and both full baths are another floor up. For your convenience, there is a playpen and infant carseat (in the closet of the third bedroom) and a booster seat with tray (in the pantry across from washer/dryer)—please be aware that we do not examine them regularly for defects, recalls, etc. Also, the outdoor hammock chair has a weight limit and can be dangerous for young children—please watch children carefully.
Getting Around:
The MARC station is about 5 minutes away with trains leaving regularly for DC and Baltimore. If you have a car, there is usually ample parking at the station--if not, it is a very quick/cheap Uber/Lift ride or even walking distance if you don't mind some exercise.
Located within minutes of highway, it takes about 35 minutes to get to D.C. and 20 minutes or less to get to Baltimore’s famous inner harbor, historic downtown Annapolis’ Naval Academy and historic Ellicott City--as central as you can get to all of these great cities without the hassle of staying in the city.

This condo was a perfect get away and alternative to a hotel stay. This property was tucked into a safe, pretty neighborhood within 20 minutes to our daughters lacrosse destination. Very nice accomodations to come back to after a hot, long day on the turf fields. Easy, nice restaurants and coffee shops nearby. The host was prompt and incredibly responsive. She was able to give and receive accurate and precise information.

We had a unique request for the host and they went above and beyond to accommodate our needs. Rental is beautiful, well kept and very comfortable to stay at. Really was the host who made the experience!

The property was just what we needed as a “home base” during a big family wedding extended weekend. Our commutes were easy to Annapolis, Crofton, Baltimore, and DC.
From the time of booking through checkout Sara, the Host, communicated very well with me.
We loved the property. It was very clean, comfortable, well-maintained, and had “extras” you just don’t see at most properties. There are several great spaces to gather but also there is opportunity for time away from others at the house when needed.

We came to MD for a graduation celebration. The location of the home was perfect for visiting different people and places in Odenton. We didn’t have any issues with the home and the beds were comfortable. I did not see the information about the 4th bedroom being locked unless you have 8-9 people. We had 6 people and were disappointed when we arrived to see we only had access to 3 bedrooms. We made it work, but would’ve preferred access to all 4 rooms. If we could’ve had the option of making up the upstairs trundle or making up one of the downstairs beds we would’ve picked having the bed in the 4th room. So, that’s something to keep in mind if you rent here. Also, there is no bathroom on the bottom floor, so you would have to go upstairs to brush your teeth or use the restroom. The microwave is in the laundry room, if you are wondering why there’s no microwave, there is one, it’s just in there. It is plugged in ready to use. We really enjoyed the back deck and the hammock chair. Overall, we would stay again!

We had a small graduation trip here with a group of 8th grade boys. It was beautiful! A really nice city with attractions, and the house was spotless and nice. We used the fire pit and kitchen, and the whole process was easy. Would definitely recommend for anyone looking for a nice, comfortable stay.

My family recently stayed at this great town house in the DC/Baltimore/Annapolis location. It was immaculately clean. It was central to many locations in the area. My family highly recommends this townhouse and would stay here again. The host was very responsive.

Sarah and Skyler were such gracious hosts. The location was perfect, and the house truly became our home while our home was being shipped overseas. We would stay in the Odenton Oasis again at the drop of a hat.

This property is a great family-friendly option for those who need a place close to base! It’s less than five mins away from the main gate, has parks, walking trails, a few food options and a grocery store all within walking distance. Home is clean, neighbors are great, the host is accommodating and very responsive.
It’s much more expensive than local hotel options, but it’s nice to be able to spread the family out! Note, if you’re traveling with a large family, there is only one tv, so be sure to pack those tablets!

The house was very nice. We enjoyed our stay. The kids really liked the hammock swing.
My only negative is having to explain the reason for my stay and the constant reminders from the owner and notes around the house about the rules. I have stayed at many places and have never encountered this before.

Sarah was great with communication. Air conditioner didn’t reach top floor very well. Maybe providing floor fan or installation of ceiling fan would help. Other areas of the home cooled well. We would rent again!

Fabulous home
My husband and I traveled from S.C. to spend the week with our Daughter, S-I-L and Granddaughter who are stationed at Ft. Meade. We have stayed at other AirB&B’s and this home is the best. The home is very clean, nicely decorated and very functional. We especially loved the screened porch and open well equipped kitchen. The bedrooms were perfect and 2.5 baths are a Great feature. Our 20 month old granddaughter loved the porch, the upstairs bedroom with the toys and the open concept where she could move from one end of the house to the other. We didn’t use the lowest level since the weather allowed us to spend most of our time outdoors, but that area is perfect for an office or movie night. We enjoyed our stay and plan to return in the future. 5+⭐️!

Graduation getaway
We were in town for our daughters graduation. It was an ideal location for us. We had plenty of room. The owners thoughtfully provided everything needed for a comfortable stay. The house is bright, cheery and clean! We enjoyed coffee on the screened patio. It was easy to get in and out. We were very happy with the house and would highly recommend staying here.

Tasteful, centrally located retreat
We stayed in Odenton to visit friends and explore the area. The house is beautifully decorated and immaculately clean. The kitchen beautiful and is well organized. The master bed was comfortable and the room was large. All of the rooms are decorated with much more detail than most rentals. We really enjoyed the 70 inch TV with free Netflix and Hulu. The house is located perfectly for visits to Annapolis and DC. We would love to visit again!

Really enjoyable stay
We rented this townhouse so that we would have a relaxing place to rest our heads while visiting family nearby. The home did not disappoint — accurately described in listing and reviews, and had all the comforts of home. We were able to go in and out to DC and Baltimore. The host was also very responsive with our outreach. Would definitely stay here again.

Wonderful home!
Our daughter got married in Baltimore and we needed a place to stay that was near her home outside of the city. The Odenton home fit the bill. The house is beautifully decorated and super clean! We were comfortable and there was plenty of room for 6 adults. It was so nice to relax on the screened porch. Sarah is a fabulous host!
