This was such a wonderful property. The room design details are so pleasing, and the beds were very comfortable. There was ample room for clothing storage. Pretty bathroom, good shower with great water pressure. Nice selection of tea/coffee. Breakfast was very good — choice of hot food and cold buffet. Strongly recommend making a dinner reservation as well, as the food is very good, the restaurant ambience is very nice and it’s so lovely not to have to go searching for dinner. Parking was easy. The location is excellent for local sightseeing.
Nothing lacking!
4.3
Great location and lovely food
The restaurant was particularly noisy with scraping chairs on the slate floor.
4.3
Location, staff, food, cleanliness and decor lovely breakfast , hotel bar very freindly
poor view from room back of kitchen considering stunning location and noisy room neighbours due to loud shower pressure noise late at night both nights

The staff were excellent, all very friendly but professional. Food was brilliant and reasonable prices. The wee bar next door also had a nice homely feel. Rooms were spotlessly clean and new! We will return when we are exploring that part of Scotland again.

The rooms were great and comfortable. I loved the details, like having a tray to put boots or shoes on. The rooms were very cleaned and smelled new. The scenery is gorgeous!
Breakfast was nice. However, I wish there were more healthy options. My pancakes were very sweet and sugary and I would have preferred something less desert-like.

A group of friends and I stayed for a night on a weekend trip. Every staff member we engaged with (and we were served/helped by a good few) was wonderful, friendly, professional and helpful. The vibe of the hotel is quiet class, with very nicely chosen interiors and good quality accessories. The rooms were very comfortable, fresh, and well tended-to. We ate in the restaurant in the evening, with the service, food and drinks excellent. Breakfast was also excellent, and we could see the staff being very kind and helpful to other guests requiring some assistance, too. Overall we'd highly recommend the hotel, and the location is great too.
Nothing - all was excellent.

Very welcoming reception with friendly and efficient staff. William was brilliant and went above and beyond.
The scallops and speyside black pudding were to die for, as was the Eggs Royal breakfast. Generous and cooked to perfection. Good selection of wines and whiskies and just a 2 min drive to Urquart Castle and Loch Ness
The walls were quite thin to the adjoining room so could hear their shower going!
The bar area was quite small but the restaurant was huge. Would have been nice for a couple of Sofa's for guests to sit and relax rather than having to go to the room.
4.3
The staff were very friendly and helpful, breakfast and dinner were lovely with good choice. Very attractive hotel in a good location. The room was very warm and great shower.
We found the beds and pillows uncomfortable unfortunately. Otherwise it would've been a perfect stay.
4.3
Nice small hotel, clean and cozy rooms, great restaurant in the hotel. Free parking available. It's walking distance to the local castle and also small cute town that has couple cafes and souvenir shop. We enjoyed our stay here.

Honestly cannot fault this place. The staff were so lovely and accommodating, the room was modern and clean. The food was exceptional and I have never received food so quickly which tasted so good. Absolutely lovely beautiful location would absolutely come back!
