Schöne Casa mit spektakulärer Aussicht auf Rebhänge und Douro

Die Lage oberhalb des Douro mit Blick über die Rebhänge ist spektakulär. Schöne Zimmer und Badezimmer. Sehr schöne Poolanlage und gemütliche Plätze in der Gartenanlage. Das Frühstück kann nach einer umfangreichen Liste bestellt werden. Gute, frische Produkte.

Auf den ersten Blick erscheint die Casa sehr schön eingerichtet. Schaut man besser, sieht man doch, dass Teppiche und Möbel recht "in die Jahre gekommen sind". Am Vorabend mussten wir angeben, zu welcher Zeit wir zum Frühstück erscheinen. Als wir am zweiten Morgen zu einer anderen Zeit erschienen, kam das nicht gut an....

A Dream Property

You cannot capture in a picture the beauty of Casa De Canilhas. The view was beyond what I expected. the pool and landscaping were well kept. we stayed in a separate quest house with our own terrace. Breakfast was delivered in a basket with so many delicious fruits cheeses and breads. The staff was kind and helpful but in the background during our stay. it felt like we were at our own vacation retreat with friends! We met a few other couples when we were there and it was wonderful to sit around the pool drink wine and enjoy the view!!

Outstanding location with breathtaking views over Douro river

Outstanding location with breathtaking views over Douro river. The team was awesome and really helpful. The house and garden were so nice we found it hard to leave for daytime activities. Our breakfast was served to our terrace so we could enjoy great food and view. Mesao Frio is in walking distance and you‘ll find restaurants and cafes and a supermarket. Casa de Canilhas is a highlight you should not miss!

well, actually it’s not the format of Quinta. you will have only your room and that’s it. usually in quinta you have free access to all shared territory and the hosts are very welcoming and invite you to seat near the fire, take a breakfast in the building. feel this atmosphere. here - no. breakfast they bring to the room which is not good because of the smell, near the table in the building they put sign “only fir staff, don’t cross”🙈 there is the living room with fire which is so good in the automi but they alway keep the room with no fire and music. again like a silent hint: “we don’t welcome you here”. the staff never (!) smile to you. no hot pot for tea and no fridge in the room. And no shared ones. you must ask the staff but they not happy with it)))

perfect!

i can not recommend this place highly enough… it was perfectly clean. the views are truly amazing. the staff (Tatiana) who we dealt with was so welcoming. the breakfast was excellent…. it was fresh and just what we asked for….. the best value for money you will find

A magical place to stay

This is a gorgeous property. The view is spectacular and the rooms are pretty and very comfortable. The staff are very friendly and helpful. Having the pool was an extra luxury.

We stayed on the top floor with a balcony. We didn’t realize it was a shared balcony with neighbors in the next room.

Loved the view, the pool and the room was amazing. We had such a nice view from our balcony. The breakfast was unreal as well. Highly recommend! Only close to a few mediocre restaurants

Our stayed was relaxing, comfortable, welcoming

My husband and I were pleasantly surprised with how beautiful, clean and comfortable our accommodations were at Casa de Canilhas. The staff was extremely polite and attentive to our needs. Breakfast was delicious every morning , set up overlooking The Valley and river. I am lactose intolerant, they were extra careful with what they offered me, and everything was deliciously prepared. The room was spacious, clean, with a balcony offering the most incredible views of the river and valley. This was truly a hidden jam!

We were totally satisfied with everything. Could not had been any better.

Incredible and beautiful place with delightful staff!

We loved it here at Casa De Canilhas! Our room had a stunning view of the Duoro River, overlooking vineyards. Room was very comfortable and beautifully decorated. The staff was very accommodating and helpful, the breakfast (delivered to our room) was very plentiful and delicious. This was one of our most favorite places in our 5 week road trip around Portugal!! Simply lovely and perfect in every way!!! If I'm ever lucky enough to return to Portugal, I would absolutely stay here again!!!

Everything from the warm reception from the hosts and staff to the cleanliness and attention to detail at every turn. The location is unmatched and charming, perfect for relaxing and enjoying peace and quiet.

Breathtaking view, excellent location to visit the Douro region. Excellent service and large view room. Book a view room and you will not be sorry! Excellent breakfast delivered to the room in a picnic basket! Perfect for a romantic getaway! Every spot in the property gives you a perfect postcard / Instagram worthy view.
