The property has amazing facilities with spectacular views across the bay and to mount vesuvius
the accomodation had an ant infestation and paint and plaster was coming off the walls

The location of this resort is very scenic and the reception & grounds are lovely. The staff we met on arrival were helpful and happy to converse with us in English. The square in which it is located has a few nice restaurants worth visiting.
We stayed in an apartment at the far end of the grounds. It seemed to be an old building and it had a musty smell & felt damp inside it. The furnishings in the kitchen were in need of modernisation. In fact the whole apartment needs a makeover. The delf and cutlery were unclean. The bathroom needs storage space for toiletries especially in the shower. Lastly, the kitchen & bathroom floors had ants crawling on them.

Great location … 5 min walk from reception along boardwalk to apartment in middle of vineyard! Very peaceful Great pool and access… Good range of bars restaurants nearby . Friendly welcoming staff
No kettle supplied and kitchen poorly stocked! microwave not working . only one toilet roll for the four of us. Asked for kettle and it arrived after a few hours. Otherwise was lovely .

literally nothing, we would have left if we could have found another hotel
terrible location and incredible rude staff who swore at us and refused to help when we noticed our room was padlocked from the outside as a means on locking it. nasty staff and poor facilities, you have to pay
to sit by the main pool which was not advertised anywhere on the site and also highly unusual for a four star hotel. don’t go here - stay in sorrento instead.

Very friendly helpful staff. Beautiful comfortable rooms in the apartment with plenty of storage space. Gorgeous views from the bar/restaurant and swimming pool/private beach.
The apartment was hidden in the vineyard and we had no sun on any of the patio areas at any time of day.
There were no instructions in the apartment on how to use facilities, nor where to shop/eat out locally.
We were not told the keys to the safe were missing until we queried how to use it and we had to ask for a new safe or to be moved. We had to carry valuables around with us the first evening.
We had to ask for a kettle.
It would be helpful to have a starter pack of milk, tea, coffee, salt and pepper sachets and a couple of washing powder tabs for the washing machine so that we didn't have to go to the local camp-site mini market with it's limited supplies and large size packets/bottles.
Staff were incredibly helpful with all queries, but simple instructions and attention to room preparation before our arrival could have saved us a lot of effort.
Note: need 'Bosch' (3 pin) adaptors (not 2 pin ones) to be able to plug in UK chargers etc in most but not all sockets.
After the rain/thunderstorm our room felt cold and damp (damp course may need checking?) and we couldn't get clothes dry enough to pack even after +24 hours.
Wi-fi often unavailable, particularly in the evenings.

All the facilities. Self catering but also able to enjoy meals on site. The apartment was surrounded by vines and lemon trees but could also walk to beach and swimming pool whilst also looking at Mount Vesuvius
Not much not to like - only slight gripe was on a couple of occasions there were parties around the wellness centre which were quite loud but they ended ar a sensible time

It is a beautiful space and had lovely grapevines. The people who work at the front desk are absolutely amazing…kind and capable, they help you with whatever you need. Also loved the breakfast- so many choices!
The only issues I had are not specific to the resort: There isn’t much else nearby so food/plans are hard and the beach is rocky.

Location and ease of catching ferries and trains was really good. A five minute walk to the ferry jetty, 10 minute bus, taxi or minibus ride to the railway station, and from here you can reach Sorrento one way and Naples the other, via Pompeii, Vesuvius and Herculaneum. The view from the apartment across the bay of Naples was amazing, with Vesuvius in the background. At night the lights round the bay twinkle and there are often fireworks to watch. The reception staff were very good, helpful, good English and knowledgeable about trips and transport.
Would have preferred a proper screen between the apartment patios, the screen had gaps in it so you were still on view and it didn't feel very private.
The kitchen was under equipped, apart from the saucepans, which were also of very good quality.
'Complimentary toiletries' was just a tiny (half the size of my thumb) bottle of shower gel on arrival. We were there 2 weeks and this did not get replenished. I'm sure we could have asked for more, but would have to ask frequently as often in the heat you would have 2 showers a day. We bought our own in the end, so this 'benefit' was not really a benefit.
The complimentary minibus was sometimes full and you could not get on it, this was a nuisance if you had planned to catch a particular train, as you had to wait and order a private taxi, or hope to get on the next minibus transfer in an hour's time.

A short stroll to the marina for boat trips.

Beach and pool facilities excellent and very close and apartment very spacious for our needs. View of mount Vesuvius from restaurant bar and beach stunning. Really lovely destination and our trips to Capri and Pompeii made it extra special. Reception staff couldn’t have been more helpful and friendly.

The location is very good, closed to Pompei, capri, Sorrento.
Tennis court very good.
Direct access to the beach.
Beach with stones, very uncomfortable. Water not clean. Wellness not accessible for children and to be payed extra for adult. Internet not working in apartment.

Excellent and helpful reception staff. Accommodation good and cleanliness excellent. Beautiful location with great views and access to the beach.
Difficult to get to without a car, and public transport very unreliable. Some staff a little rude I.e. pool/beach/bar (reception excellent though). Could have used a chopping board in the kitchen. No WiFi in apartments.

As a family of four (older children), we had a lovely room with mezzanine level, with a beautiful view out over the Bay of Naples and Vesuvius. The best thing about Axidie was the lovely service. Anna and the team could not have made us feel more welcome, and was always on hand to help. This service is what makes a holiday special. The boat to Capri left from literally outside, and the location was slightly off the well beaten track, it with its own beach. Fabulous.
The bathroom was a little dated as was certain parts of the complex, but it was clean and absolutely fine!
