Well maintained property with lovely outlook. Easy access to town with a short drive. Would easily

Locality, views and cosy accommodation made for a relaxing stay. Easy check in and check out. Plenty of firewood to stoke the fire.

Bird lover's paradise!

We spent 2 nights in Chalet #1 (Shannon) and really enjoyed our stay. The accommodation was neat & well presented. The bed was comfortable and the water was hot. The views to the lake are wonderful and the birdlife was prolific so there was always something of interest to look at. The chalet is the closest to the road but there was very little traffic & it didn't bother us. Although the TV received most stations, the phone & wifi connection is very poor but that is due to the location and we were aware of that prior to booking. Overall, we were more than happy with our stay & would return here when next visiting the area. Tip: Fill the birdbath next to the verandah & you'll soon have a number of birds splashing around in it.

The chalets were lovely. Warm and full of character. They have a lovely view of a lake.

The chalets have lots of character with a wood heater and a picturesque situation looking over the lake.

We really enjoyed the quiet spot and it is very close to town to go for evening meal or shops

It is a very serene spot and the quietness. We also went to the Lavender and Berry Farm for afternoon tea and it is right next door to the Chalets. The unit itself is very comfortable and we enjoyed having the open fire.

Superb

The Chalet are suitable a short drive from the township of Pemberton with the most amazing views. The weather was cold and shower s during our visit. The chalet had electric blankets on the beds. And the woodfire heated the villa once stoked and lots of wood added. There lots of grounds for the children to run around and a small playground as well.

We were in a Natural area next to the Lake and the croaking frog part of the environment .

Peaceful, relaxing and gorgeous scenery.

Was just quite a nice peaceful place to stay. The owners were lovely and recommended spots to see. Was nice to be able to come back and relax on the couch with TV after using the BBQ as well.

There was actually a lightbulb missing out of the main bedroom which would have been good to have, luckily there were lamps anyways but still a bit odd that it was missing.

A relaxing and picturesque cottage

A beautiful cottage in a beautiful location. Looking out from the verandah across the lake. Listening to and watching the bird life. Such a peaceful place. Very clean. Very comfortable beds.

Great location, friendly hosts!

The location was impeccable, Pete was very friendly, firewood was in plenty. Everything was in working condition. Highly recommend!

We had a credit with booking.com which was not conveyed to the owners due to which had to suffer a $90 loss as full payment was required at the property. Hope it is sorted with booking.com soon

Cottage on the lake

Location is just magnificent and cottages comfortable enough . Kitchen reasonably well equipped . Only has a smallish wood fire so you need to keep the wood going into the fire. No other heating.

Could probably benefit from a reverse cycle inverter type heat/cool pump for first thing in the morning.

Great location, bed was comfortable.

The bed was very comfortable. Wood fire was cosy and warm, but sometimes struggled to get the wood to burn.

We didn’t have an oven, just a microwave and top plates. Missing a few dishes to cook in. The lounges looks great but we’re quite uncomfortable to sit in. Internet was hard to connect and phone didn’t connect at all.

Perfect place to escape the big smoke for a week

The lake side cottages were quaint and beautiful, the wood for the fire was pre chopped and was easy to light each evening or day. It was only two minute drive nestled just outside of the town on a property that neighboured the berry farm.

The wifi was poor but its a place where you probably shouldn't be on any devices. If your that desperate for better service you can park in town and use the free wifi that is available in the town centre

Location was good, close to Town but the facilities were very basic and dated.

View was lovely. Beds were comfortable but electric blankets plus extra blankets were definitely needed. Good hot water supply. Good towels.

Heating was inadequate for size of Chalet. Small wood stove was ineffective and gave little heat. Needed constant feeding with wood. Very little storage room for food supplies. Cooking facilities basic. Very small microwave & cook top. Extractor fan in bathroom was useless.

A welcome escape to relax .

One of four chalets that overlook a lake and surrounded by forest trees .the chalets are all self contained with comfortable beds ,and all that you need for a relaxed getaway from busy lives .there is a wood burning for those cool nights .totally enjoyed relaxing in the lounge with the fire burning and watching so many birds out on the lawn through the large lounge windows .

No complaints at all .

Nice stay.

The wood for the fireplace needed to be chopped up in smaller pieces, as the tool provided was not up to the task. As there are no oven in the chalet, the BBQ needs to be upgraded. The BBQ in our chalet was a two burner BBQ, and one of the ignitions did not work.

Lake view chalets is awesome

Excellent location. Beautiful views. Fantastic host. Pancake breakfast across the lake was great and the milkshakes are amazing. If ordering the large serving of pancake.... it is huge enough to feed three people and tastes fabulous. The bird life around the property is very colourful as well: will definitely be back.

The tv was too small... (first world problem I know...)
