This Bed and Breakfast is located on the outskirts of Siena. It is an older villa that has been transformed into a BnB. The rooms are spacious and clean with daily maid service. The beds and pillows are comfortable and air conditioning easy to operate. The grounds are older but clean. The breakfast was very good with fresh pastries, cheeses, meats, hard boiled eggs and fruit from the grounds. Coffee made to order! Rita, the hostess, was amazingly helpful and attentive! She arranged, often with some difficulty due to phone lines, taxis for us into town. Although we had a car, parking in the older part of Siena is a challenge. She gave us restaurant suggestions which were great! She also contacted a winery about 40 minutes from the property and we had an amazing wine tasting and vineyard experience. The porch area was a great place for wine and snacks.
Everything was really very nice. As mentioned, the outside is older but, even as we were there, they were making improvements and cleaning the outside areas.

Unbelievable customer service. Staff was so friendly! Place was immaculately clean, super comfortable beds, good breakfast, facilities are so nice! Feels like you're in the country side, yet you're only minutes away from Siena's historic center.
Can't recommend it enough.

We travelled to Siena by car, so we were happy that parking was available. The location was just a few minutes by car from the city centre. The country lodge looks beautiful, it is hard to imagine such a place is so close to the city centre.
Considering the season just started and there were very few guests at this time, the breakfast was very good - had enough options to chose and everything was delicious.
The hosts are extremely nice and full of helpful advice about the local attractions and restaurants.
Wifi was good enough to allow streaming services.
The room could use a few more electricity plugs - these days travelers use a lot of electronic devices so it is convenient to have a chance to plug them all it, preferrably close to the bed. Some plugs also seemed to be small for regular European devices.

Very comfortable, beautiful decor and lovely, friendly people who were so helpful and made our stay so enjoyable. My husband needed a Physio but we were struggling to get him an appointment. Upon hearing of our trouble, Luana immediately rang her own Physio and we had an appointment within 30 minutes!

Perfect location, very cozy and nice

Clean and tidy room, bus stop 5 mins away to city centre, easy parking but not within property gates, OK breakfast, allowed us to early check-in. Good working aircon
Not much interaction with staff advising what's available on the grounds, asking for additions like glasses etc, or advising on local area / getting to Siena. Bed not a true double, kept splitting causing a gap between two twin mattresses

The bedroom was large and had air conditioning . The aspect and views of cypresses and other trees from the property was lovely.
We think artificial plastic grass is very bad for the environment . A simple gravel area with pots would look nicer too .

Country Lodge is a great place to stay at for anybody looking for a "basecamp" when discovering Siena and the surrounding areas. Most places of interest in this area are between 30–90 mins away. Country Lodge is comfortable, clean and close to Sienas center. An extra plus for Elena who is service-minded, and helped us every day with great tips on what to see and do.
Nothing critical really. Perhaps the wifi… not great, and not a great solution either, but this seems to be a problem all over Tuscany…

Beautiful peaceful environment with very helpful staff
Air conditioning would have improved my stay and the addition of a small fridge would have allowed me to cool my drinks/food etc.

Good starting point for exploring the city, excellent for going by bike and close enough to walk. Very nice and personal service, beautiful premises!

Place is nice and had all the features to make it a lovely stay, rooms seemed fairly new.
The shower was very small. The staff were very intrusive in light of Covid. As I walked half way through the door I was pointed a temperature gauge to my head which I don't accept in fact. I had no time to react, absolutely shocking. Checking the temperature after greeting and asking for permission and also at the wrist is a lot more appropriate. These people are not nurses, it's not a hospital and there's nothing giving them the right to do these things without consent. Acting like tourists are lepers is not the way forward.

The staff were so friendly and helpful. They booked a taxi for us each day upon request
No fridge in the room. The coffee was cold at breakfast but rhe juices were room temperature. It was very hot during our stay. We had problems connecting to the wifi. The vouchers they give you had expired

Location was convenient for a visit to Siena.
Hostess seemed a bit disorganized. But pleasant.
