Well situated
Well laid out apartment
Well priced
All the amenities you could want.
The smell of garbage from the restaurant whenever you entered the apartment through the back of the restaurant.

I like that it had a code. I wish it provided two keys. When adults are traveling together sometimes one key is problematic because not everyone always wants to do the same thing.
The place itself is wonderful!! Clean, great beds, good kitchen, good amenities such as a good nspresso machine, iron and board, drying rack, washer/dryer, two bathrooms with great showers. Most importantly an excellent location in Petite France. Tons of cafes right out your door, the canal and boat ride and city center are close. Great stay.
Honestly we were shocked at how dirty and unappealing it was to get into the place. The back of the restaurant was smelly and disgusting and the stairs to get to the place were horrible. There was a really dirty ashtray that made me sick to look at. They really need to clean up the entry way because it makes it look like the place will be horrible. The quality of the place was exceptional though.

It was pure pleasure: in the heart of Petite France in such a beautiful historic house, so nicely thought. We'd do it again anytime. We parked under the museum of Modern Art...a few minutes from there and: voila.
Couldn't find anything bad to say.

pretty much perfect for a short break - great location and brilliant space for the 4 of us. air con was a plus as it was hot outside but lovely and cool inside.
steps to access at the back are a little narrow and we couldn’t find the external rubbish bins

Great Central location in a picturesque part of the Old Town
Entrance to the apartment was through a yard at the back of a restaurant. The apartment was quite dusty and a number of the window blinds did not function.

An absolutely outstanding apartment.
First, I want to point it was way too big for my needs as I was traveling solo for business and couldn't find anything decent available at a short notice, but I can say that two couples or a family of 4 could easily spend a week there without any issue.
The provided equipment is more than enough (plates, cups, glasses of different sorts, cutlery, toaster, Nespresso machine...), and the fact that there are two separate bathrooms means there wouldn't be any fight in the morning.
Oh and contrary to what some people say, the electric stores do work. You just have to find the four switches for the side ones (near wooden beams on the left and on the right of the living room, one for lower stores and one for upper stores), and fiddle with the remote so that four lights blink at the bottom to be able to operate all the front ones at once.
The living room is spacious and comfortable (and tastefully decorated), and to top it all the view on the Strasbourg "Petite France" rooftops from the attic salon on the third floor is quite beautiful, provided there's a bit of sunshine.
Finally, the location is ideal, 70 or so meters from a big outdoor parking (big for Strasbourg, that is) with reasonable pricing, and nearby some excellent restaurants/snacks/bars...
Few things, really.
First are the stairs. If you have difficulties climbing narrow and steep stairs, this apartment isn't for you as you have to go up a first flight outside, and then a second one inside. I personally had no problem as I am travelling light, but going up with heavy or big luggage might be an issue for some.
Second is the fact that the outside door opens outwards, towards the (very small) landing. This means that you arrive there with your luggage, open the door and then have to go backwards on the staircase to be able to open the door. If you have people behind you, it might cause an issue.
Last thing: only decaf Nescafé provided?! In France?! Please think about people who need their caffeine boost to properly wake up!

Excellent location, great size apartment for multi-day stays and friendly person when picking up keys.
Some of the kitchen area has been damaged from past renters, as well as missing some very basic kicthen tools (a single knife for example). in the warmer months the smell from the restaurant below will be a challenge. The pick up of keys takes longer than you would guess, the hotel you pick them up at and drop them off at is further away than a map would suggest even by car as many of the roads are one way and limited access. The deposit was significantly more than what was shared on Booking.com, not a pleasant surprise and a digital lockbox at the apartment would be a better solution. I suspect there have been renters in the past who were destructive and many of the rules in place are because of that, but its the first time in hundreds of bookings i have had to leave such a large deposit and now to keep looking to make sure its released and none was taken. I don't like these types of rental agreements as you have no idea what they choose to indicate as damage days or weeks later.

Layout of property. Quality of fixtures and fittings. Excellent location.
Some of the shutters were not operating. The kettle would not close. A couple of glasses were chipped. Not big issues but should not have been missed. Terrible drain smell coming up from the toilets at the rear of the restaurant below.

location !!!!!!!!
the cleanliness was incomplete ...annoying smells from the ground floor restaurant
