Ghastly

No hot water, broken chairs, no soap, shutters kept closing on their own, no ceiling lampshades. Shoes left over from previous occupant in wardrobe, dirty plates and cutlery, dirty sink, only one small glass, no full length dressing mirror. Bleak

Un lieu exceptionnel pour passer qq nuits

L'appartement était très bien, très propre et bien équipé La localisation est très bien, prés du centre de Lisieux L'ambiance est silencieuse et calme Je suis arrivé après 18H00 sans problème : un gardien était présent pour me renseigner Le parking est aisé et sécurisé dans un grand parc Je recommande ce lieu pour toute personne qui recherche un endroit calme pour se reposer ou pour visiter Lisieux

Excellent endroit pour séjourner

Appartement indépendant et très confortable bien décoré et équipé. Grande salle de bain Tranquilité environnement propre et très calme, idéal. Bonne accueil du personnel. Animaux acceptés. Dans l'ensemble endroit excellent pour séjourner,je le recommande..

Un peu surprise à mon arrivée, lieu et environnement qui m'ont parus un peu froid et austère au début et le fait de voir une église.Un peu dubitative. A mon arrivée,on m'a expliqué que c'était une résidence intergenerationelle ( ou se côtoient touristes de passage, étudiants et personnes âgées). Lieu un peu trop éloigné de centre ville, si pas véhiculé il faut compter compter 20 mn de marche pour rejoindre le centre et commerces, mais faisable. La salle de bain n'est pas très pratique car pas de pare douche, lorsque l'on prend sa douche on ne peut éviter de mettre de l'eau partout,utilisation de la raclette pour pouvoir évacuer l'eau.

Disappointing

The beds are not comfortable; the complex is massive and hard to navigate without getting lost; and the shower sprays everywhere. Also, this is a senior’s home which is not advertised clearly on booking.com We were given spare rooms not in use and it felt like staying in a hospital ward.

Large apartment style room with comfortable beds and a couch. Very helpful staff for our late booking and check-in. Secure parking.

Outside appearance looks run down and gives eerie hospital vibes. However, it was renovated on the inside and clean. Motion sensored hall light activated all night, causing constant light under the door.

Good clean apartment with small hob, fridge, microwave and kettle.

It's an old people's home that is letting out rooms. As you approach the place there is a big sign to say it's an old people's home but indication that it's also an apart-hotel. Did not like having to strip the beds and take the rubbish out on departure. Take a careful look at it's location on Google maps to see if it's suitable for you. It's a little way out of town.

A good value for an overnight in Lisieux.

We had three people and were pleased that the room was large with two double beds. It had a small kitchenette and table. The room was clean and comfortable and the location was quiet and there was an elevator (once you climbed 5-6 steps.) Breakfast was delivered to our room and was good.

It was difficult to find as the map took us to the second building but registration was at the first. The facility is an elderly residence and the shower in the bathroom had no tub or door or curtain. It was simply a showerhead in the corner of the bathroom and water sprayed everywhere.

Comfortable and inexpensive overnight stay

A complete studio with kitchenette, bathroom and a table, couch and bed. A large, clean and nicely prepared room - in all very comfortable. Disabled facilities were present in the room. Double glazed with electric window blinds. Ample car parking onsite.

No bath - showers are prevalent in European hotels, albeit wet rooms are an inconvenience to people sharing a bathroom. Air conditioning would have been pleasant on a very balmy night. The property appears like a block of flats rather than a traditional hotel with the reception in another block to the residence. The reception was un serviced at our 20.30 arrival, we met no other staff and found no guest facilities. The property felt remote from the town.

Better than we expected based on negative reviews.

We were given a big room with 2 big beds. Big windows and much light and cool air coming in. Coffeemaker, watercooker, fridge, small stove top, basic cooking pans and tableware in the apartment. Actually, we were in a rush to book something with parking so after, when we read the reviews, we were tempted to cancel. But aside from no wifi, the place was very pleasant. The lady at reception was very nice. And parking was secure and free. We had a lot of stuff in the car that we didn't want to bring in and out of the room for just one night.

There is no wifi and it was not mentioned on the booking site. Also, you have to throw away your own trash after your stay (not a problem) but the garbage bins are at the main building where the reception is, so you have to take the trash with you in the car for a bit.

Very dissapointing, just good enough for 1 or 2 days.

The room is big, the bed is ok. Enough parking.

Wi-fi doesn't work and they don't tell in advance. When checking in, the envelope says "temporarily out of wifi". The router is broken and there's no interest in fixing it. I traveled for work and they knew it. The decoration is very sad. The kitchen is ridiculously small and very poorly equipped. The toilet is depressing. It's not a hotel, just appartments. You are supposed to take out the trash, but the trash bins are 300mts away.

Very pleasant stay in an exceptionally clean apartment

Superb cleanliness! Nice, spacious apartment. Definitely value for money.

Even better if: more lights were placed outside the main entrance - reception, as it was a bit dark when coming back in the evening.
