I visited Mystic for a long weekend, as my daughter was studying at the Eugene O'Neill Theater Institute. I fell in love! The property was a perfect get-a-way... Anne was so welcoming. The location is amazing - I walked EVERYWHERE, took a sunset sailing cruise, rented a bike and visited multiple beaches... The apartment was perfect. Super clean, all of the needed amenities, parking... I woke up to birds chirping every morning. I STRONGELY recommend it!!!

It was so close to town. You walked through a truly historic neighborhood which was both beautiful and quiet. Our hosts were so friendly, informative and truly hospitable,it was like staying at a friend’s house. Your space is separate from the main house so it was very private. I highly recommend this place. We hope to return.

This is my wife and my second stay at this wonderful guesthouse. Anne and Ken are gracious hosts who make you feel right at home. The guesthouse for two is comfortable and relaxing. It’s well equipped with almost everything you may need and is in walking distance to town and fine restaurants. We also took a ride up to Foxwoods Casino & Outlets as well as a chilly visit to Mystic Seaport and Mystic Village. You will not be disappointed with Cliffside and will want to come back as we did.

My wife and I spent a week at Anne & Ken's romantic guesthouse in Mystic and it did not disappoint! The checkin process could not have been smoother. Our hosts were great communicators and always willing to answer questions or provide assistance.
The property itself was clean, bright and well appointed with just a short walk to downtown and all that Mystic has to offer. The fact that you did not have to hunt for parking was a real plus!
We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and look forward to returning to continue our explorations of wonderful coastal Connecticut!

This was our first trip to Mystic and the Cliffside Guesthouse was ideal. The Guesthouse was clean, comfortable, and bright and very tastefully decorated. The yard was neatly manicured and the gardens contained blooming hydrangea shrubs that were beautiful. It’s location made for an easy stroll along the Mystic River to the center of town, where there is a multitude of shops and restaurants, as well as places to just sit and watch the activities along the river. Anne and Ken were very hospitable and friendly and provided us with a list of suggested restaurants and things to do, which were invaluable to us since we had never been to Mystic before. Our visit was short but we hope to return.

We had a wonderful time during out stay. The property is clean and comfortable with full sized kitchen appliances. We were with in walking distance to downtown Mystic and were still far enough away to not to hear the the crowds of people and traffic! Anne and Kenneth were wonderful hosts and we hope to have the opportunity to come back again! Thank you!

This was a lovely guesthouse for our 3 night getaway to Mystic. The host, Anne, met us when we arrived and helped us with our luggage and gave us a tour of the house. The house is very clean, well organized and had everything we needed including excellent air conditioning for those humid days we've been having. The walk into Mystic center takes about 10 minutes and is really a delightful walk. It's obvious that Anne and Ken put a lot of time and work into their lovely home and guesthouse. We would definitely stay here again.

My mother and I stayed at the Cliffside Cottage and it was absolutely fabulous! Anne and Ken were great hosts! Due to an issue with my number in the VRBO app, they were not able to reach me which I felt terrible about! However, when we arrived they were so welcoming and Anne showed us the cottage and helped with our luggage. So incredibly cute and just perfect for our stay. It was like a little apartment with every detail needed - down to salt and pepper! There was even a book provided with recommended restaurants and things to do while in Mystic which we used often. It was in walking distance to downtown Mystic which is such a lovely seaside town. We had a amazing time and would definitely stay again if we travel to Mystic in the future. A must stay!!!

This guest suite was even better than pictured. Excellent location and absolutely beautiful. We would have lived there if that was an option. Anne was very communicative and gave excellent suggestions for food and things to do. The weather was cold and rainy during our stay, but we still managed to have a good time and enjoy cozy time in the apartment. If you are looking at this place, don’t even think about it just do it! Any time we come back to Mystic we would love to return.

This property is as advertised - clean, modern, very nice, and in a great location. Anne and Ken were very helpful and walked me through the property on my arrival, had great suggestions for things to see during my visit, and I really enjoyed getting to visit with them. The property is in a very quiet location, but within walking distance to downtown shops and restaurants. Highly recommend for anyone staying in the Mystic area.

I booked the guesthouse for a surprise birthday getaway to Mystic for my wife. This place is quiet, comfortable, clean, nicely decorated, and just a short walk from downtown. We had a wonderful relaxing stay. Also I must say, the interaction with our host Anne was a wonderful surprise, as most places we have stayed are just email conversations. She called the morning before we headed there to chat a bit about the place and asked to let her know when we would be arriving so she could meet us. She showed us thru the guesthouse, gave us the lowdown on the hot spots around town, and advised us on making reservations for any dinner plans at downtown places.(greatly appreciated) We would definitly stay here again.
